Nightmare blinked and nodded. "Thanks." She meowed, finishing the rabbit with one last bite. She was surrised on how easily he discarded the information about her father. "So, what do you usually do in the loners?"

"Keep to myself, unless some cat needs there butt handed to 'em!" Forest meowed seriously. "Hunt, practice fighting, try to find somewhere dry to sleep each night!" he went on and when he was about to add, 'Attack all rouges on sight, be them kit or kin' he stopped and snapped his mouth shut! "Mmm, I know how that song goes..." Nightmare meowed, pushing herself to her paws and pricking her ears. There was a rustling sound. Weird...

Forest heard it to and his pelt bristled, instinct. "What, or who, is it?" he asked in a growl unsheathing his claws.

Nightmare sighed and shook her head as the breeze hit her. "Vixen." She meowed, getting to her paws and stretching, looking at him as if not wanting to go. "I gotta go." She wanted to say 'Maybe I'll see you around?' but she couldn't. She was being stupid by thinking that. "Bye." She meowed as she disappeared.

Forest watched her go, and after a few moments he let out a yowl of pain, and tor his claws across the tree behind him's trunk, sending bark flying in all directions. Closing his eyes to keep from crying, Forest crumpled against the tree. I told you so!
