Forest crouched down, putting all his weight on his hunches, then he sprang at the rabbit that had been gnawing on a piece of bark. Startled the rabbit jumped up and pelted through the underbrush, but Forest was hungry and determined and as soon as the rabbit ran, so did he. Of course, being much bigger, Forest had a harder time pushing through brambles and leaves, but once they were out from the cover of the trees, Forest caught up to the rabbit in a heartbeat. "Hello!" he snarled at the terrified animal, then grabbed it's neck between his teeth and bit down, hard! "Ha!" he said, throwing the limp rabbit body on the ground in front of him.
"How dare you hunt on rouge territory!" a dark, but clearly feminine voice snarled!
Forest looked up to see a she-cat, hidden in shadows, stalking angrily toward him. Taking a moment to look around Forest realized that he had crossed the border, and this prey was rightfully the rouges' now. But, considering how hungry he was, Forest was not going to lose this prey without a fight. And besides, it was just a rouge, and he hated rouges!
"Well it wasn't that hard!" Forest scoffed at the she-cat. "I must say, your boarder guards are terrible!"
"Don't you dare mock me!" The she-cat hissed, stepping out of the shadows!
Without warning Forest jumped onto the she-cat and held her down by her shoulders. "Who are you?" he asked, breathing in her face. "I like to know who I'm about to kill!" He clamped his jaw around her neck and waited for her response.
((This cat will, in the very, long time away, many post life, be his mate, so... ANYONE?!))

A black she cat appeared, eyes narrowed into slits. But she was unmistakbly breathtaking. The daughter of the mighty Vixen, Nightmare was extremely built, built to kill. She was next to take over her mother, Vixen's family. "And why do you think you could ever kill me." And it was clear that she was the closest thing he could find to indestructable.
(Btw in furture posts, plz don't powerplay like that... unless Kitty, Willow, or Snowy's fine with it. I don't really care under these circumstances but, if it's a big deal please don't. Thanks. Oh but does the she cat have to be totally loyal... caz I can't gurantee she won't flirt with other toms and stuff but she can be with him...)

"Because It would be laughably easy!" Forest snarled biting down a bit harder. But he could tell that this cat could, and probably would, put up a nice fight!
((Actually, because the she-cat was unnamed and no one was yet to be RPing her, it wasn't power playing. However, if i had said, Nightmare, rather than, The she-cat, yes it would have been power playing.))

"Hmm, right. Wanna try that?" Nightmare had a grin spread across her face as her claws glinted. They were sharp, incredibly sharp. Yikes.

Forest saw her claws and grinned to, it had been a wile since he had, had a real battle. "Sure" he meowed and tensed his muscles.

"Mmm, interesting." Nightmare meowed, crouching and watching for his attack or mistakes. She didn't say a word, just waited.

(heh, I kinda like the way she does it... its different... interesting.. but I have to agree putting a cat at a disadvantage before the other person even starts to rp is a bit .... well... yeah anyways... I'll just shut up now XD carry on)

In a split second Nightmare had disappeared from beneath him, melting into the shadows and Forets would have been flying through the air to land on the ground, the black she cat nowhere in sight.

(((What I don't think is fair is the fact that Nightmare seems to be indestrucable. She can't be beaten, she just DISAPPEARS. Yeah, maybe if she was directly related to both VampireBat and Death would she aquire those skills, but she's not. Vixen isn't even that good.
We should make some kind of rule, so it's clear, that people can start out the way Emerald does if it doesn't give the cat that is supplied by another member a disadvantage in battle or whatever. But, you know, if you didn't like the way Emreald posted it, you didn't have to reply with your cat.))

(But Misty, if it isn't fair my cat, it shouldn't be fair for others. And anyway, I've used it before, she appears back)
Nightmare appeared on his back, pinning him before leaping off and crouching again. "We can stop whenever." For some strange and odd reason... she didn't want to kill this cat. Maybe her father leaving just the day before had messed up her emotions...

(OMG EVERYONE JUST KNOCK IT OFF!!!!! sERIOUSLY!!! GAAHHH *flings arms up in exasperation* I will confine you ALL to your rooms if we can't start getting along and stop whining!!!! seriously.. grrr...... I have half a mind to just delete this post and make you all start over..... if someone says something to you to correct or point something out about your post, accept it! let it be and then don't do it again, if you have a major problem about it, PM me and ask me to come read it, or Snowy (if she is ever on...) and if we don't have an answer, I'll go ask willow >.< but seriously, it is REALLY starting to get on my nerves about how absolutely every criticism or action is taken so offensively and everyone starts whining about it!!!! okay, sorry if I sound b****y or am being rud3e, but it is really working on my last nerve, everyone take a chill pill, the cats aren't real, they are figments of our imagination we made up for something to entertain ourselves with!!!)

"So your going to give up?" Forest asked in an almost purr, but more of a laugh. Moving quickly, Forest back flipped and landed on Nightmare. Then, jumped off of her and clenched her tail hard between his teeth, hard enough to break the bone.
