IceFeather thought about that day in her head. Now the she cat had grown and became quite beautiful, but was still unnoticed. Maybe it was because FeatherPaw was right... just an annoying kit. She sighed as she sat down, gazing off into space as a cat approached.

IceFeather turned around to look at the kit. Her face was kind and she smiled. "Just thinking. What are you doing out? Sneaking out?" She meowed.

DewKit lowered her crystal blue eyes to her paws. In those eyes were a new glint. A red one.
"Yeah, but I'm old enough to be an apprentice now. So I should be allowed out," she mewed in a small voice, puffing out her chest.

IceFeather blinked. The red was uncharacteristic of the small she cat. "Well you can't get in trouble now anyway, you've got a warrior here so you're not breaking the rules." The white she cat sat down.

She blinked in surprise before looking up at the warrior. "I'm not? Nice!" DewKit mewed, a smiling slightly. She skipped to IceFeather's side and sat down.
There was a pause as she frowned a little, as if trying to solve a puzzle. Finally she asked, " What were you thinking of before I interrupted your thoughts? You looked kinda.... unhappy."

She nodded, and then paused again.
FeatherPaw... a voice said in its familiar sinister voice. But only in her head.
Now that her face wasn't hidden by shadows, it was clear she was listening... to someone.
"What did FeatherPaw told you?"

IceFeather's eyes widened. "How do you know she said anything?" She meowed. But she sighed and let it go... for now.

Now she raised both brows. "Well, that's dumb. You're not annoying at all. Guess Feather was the kind of cat to judge other too quickly." She shrugged, and then smiled. "And there's not really anyone who hates you out there... well, maybe Feathery there, but except that I don't think there's anyone else."

DewKit slightly rolled her eyes.
"Well, they ain't smart then."
What about your Dew? Hmm? What do you think of this she-cat?" the voice asked.
I think she very nice but had a hard social life. Now can you please go away? she silently answered, trying to be the most polite as possible toward the AbyssClanner.

"No," she meowed quickly, too quickly. She was a very bad liar, and the false note in her voice was very obvious. She seemed to realize that, too, and stuck her lower lip out in a pout.
"I think I'm going crazy. I'm hearing voices all the time. Well, only one voice, actually." DewKit sighed heavily. Though the dark spirit was finally silent... for the moment.

Her mouth curled down in a sad expression. "Sadly, no. I don't know any of my kins... But some cats here think I'm in VampireBat's family, because of my agile body and long fangs. Is that true? Is my father a freak assassin?"
In the back of her head, the voice chuckled darkly.

But he didn't answer. She could hardly feel his presence anymore. Was he... weak?

"Hey DewKit! You can't be thinking of sneaking off without me? Were you?" He asked faking hurt, though it didn't turn out well because he couldn't keep the smile off his face, and that mischevious look out of his eye.
(The cat was FlowerPaw... not FeatherPaw XD)
