Comet ran until he was far away from NatureClan territory before he gently sat both the kits down and wrapped his tail around them completely at a loss

YarrowRoot watched them go... FernSight not leaving her target for a second followed VampireBat pinning him "FILTH!" she spat

SpottedKit would of nodded to TarpenLeaf if she could, but she was too occupied crying.
VampireBat spat at FernSight's face, hoping she would let him go by surprise.
A small patrol, MothPelt, VioletLight and GrudgePaw, then entered camp.
"What happened here? It seems like a tornado or something just passed by the look on your faces..." VioletLight meowed, urgently padding toward the cats.
MothPelt froze in place. "VampireBat. He got my brother! We have to help Comet, please!" The gray she-cat then dashed back towards the exit.
GrudgePaw rolled her eyes. "Tell me when this is over," she mumbled. The ginger and black apprentice then went to her nest, humming a song on her way.

Comet licked Spottedkit's head gently. "I'm sorry SilverWing" He muttered over and over to himself.
Shadedkit curled up aginst Comet and Spottedkit stunned with shock.

"They're not yours, and you know that. It's in their blood. Sooner or later..."
He suddenly lifted his head and bit hard on FernSight's throat, taking a sip of her blood before kicking her belly with his hind-legs.
Then VampireBat vanished and was one with the shadows yet again...
SpottedKit wiped the tears from her eyes with her front left paw. "Why, Daddy? I liked NatureClan a lot. You made Grandma angry at Mommy for loving you. Mom could of stopped you, but she loves you too much. Now Grandma EmberGlow is creeping me out again! Grandma Pepper is happy, though I don't now why. Why, Daddy? Why?"
She curled her tail around her front paws, still sitting down, seeming calm and panicked at the same time. "Grandma Pepper doesn't like me, too. She loves ShadedKit, though. Why?"
The tortoiseshell started crying again. "Great Untie LittleLeaf is crying now! Daddy, make them stop! My head hurts! It hurts, Dad. They're giving me a headache. They are all speaking at the same time..."

Comet's eyes filled with tears and he shook his head. "I don't know the answer to any of your questions. But if you want to go back to NatureClan than I'm sure I can find someone to take you back. If you go back will they stop?" He whispered closing his eyes.
Shadedkit listened bewildered not exactly knowing what to say so she just kept quiet.

She shook her head. "You and ShadedKit have to come, too. And Grandpa haves to be gone. EmberGlow, LittleLeaf, SilentFlame and NightClaw even believes all VampireBat's kins should be gone. You included. Me and ShadedKit included. No exceptions. But what do they mean by 'be gone', Daddy? Do they want us to go on a vacation?" she asked, looking up at him with huge amber eyes.

Shadedkit spoke up for the first time. "No! They want us dead, Spot! Not in StarClan either.... they want us in AbyssClan" She spat

She frowned, not liking this. "But EmberGlow isn't evil, neither is her family... And Daddy, they will keep hurting my head if you don't come. Why won't you?"
Just then VampireBat appeared, seeming sleepy. He had lost energy quite quickly back there, but the blood gave him a new energy, and his paws made no sound on the ground.

"Dad" He greeted turning his head to where VampireBat was at. He turned back to Spottedkit "You saw me back there. I attacked a clan mate and not just any clan mate... I attacked the Medicine Cat. That's practically unforgivable." Comet meowed his voice harsher than he meant it to be.
"They think all of VampireBat's family is evil.... all of them, so they want us all dead in AbyssClan" Shadedkit muttered

"But I don't wan to rot in Hell," SpottedKit meowed stubbornly.
VampireBat looked behind him. "We better get going. Moth is looking for you, we wouldn't want to kill such a perfect cat like her. To the Cavern Rogues' territory, now."
The tortoiseshell then stood up, her chin high as she walked toward VampireBat, ignoring his warning glance. "Grandpa, you are a mean old tom! You cruel, selfish, stinky, stupid, mean fox-dung! Go rot in AbyssClan! Those cats are so impatient to have a stupid tom like you join them! Your Mommy is probably up there, waiting to give you spankings! Rock-brained ol' Grandpa!" she squeaked furiously, batting a paw at him, her tiny claws doing no damage.
VampireBat's red eyes burned in fury, and yet again he seemed terrifying. In not even a blink, the she-kit was on the ground, bleeding and crying. The assassin bit his lip, still angry, he brought his unsheathed paw up, ready for the final blow...

Comet leaped snarling and bit VampireBat hard on his shoulder and swiping his thorn sharp claws down his side all in one single move before running back in for another attack.
Shadedkit ran up to Spottedkit "Are you okay Spotty?" She asked her eyes starting to tear up.

SpottedKit just lay there, quiet, eyes closed, and cold... She was loosing so much blood... And VampireBat even took some... Comet would probably have no chance with the new and fresh blood in his father's veins...
VampireBat grinned, dodged just in time and pinned his son down, holding him down by the back, like that VampireBat couldn't be hit by any attacks. He lowered his head to his neck, sharp fangs ready. "And why would you of done that, hmm, son?"

"Good for nothing piece of Foxdung" Comet hissed. He bit down hard on one of VampireBat's paws that was holding him down. He then rolled out from under him and stood between him and Spottedkit ready to spring.
Shadedkit turned and ran toward the direction they had come. VampireBat had said Aunt MothPelt was coming perhaps she could find her.

VampireBat was about to spring on CometFall, but while he was airborne, a dark shape knocked him down.
SpottedKit's paw twitched. "EmberGlow... is here..." she squeaked faintly, her eye still closed.
Indeed, instead of being brown, MothPelt's eyes were dark violet, close to the blue that was ShadedKit's eyes. She was snarling, her fur seeming shorter and redder. "Comet, get the kits in a bush or something, please. They need TarpenLeaf," MothPelt meowed. It was her words, but not her voice. The voice that came out of her was soft, melodic and had a weird accent that made the words sound like a song.

Comet didn't ask questions he just grabbed both kits gently and set them in a bush. "I hope you're planning on going to get the medicine cat" He muttered
Shadedkit squeaked "I don't think Pepper likes this very much" She shrugged, but what do I know?

The reddish gray she-cat stalked toward VampireBat, her smile darkening. Who said EmberGlow was completely good? There was once a prophecy about her, that she would kill many NatureClanners during their sleep, including RavenSight and her own kits... But she proved that the future was never set, that each of your choices change something in what was planned by StarClan and/or AbyssClan. Instead, she died saving SilverWing, then SilverKit, from her killer, Death'sBreath.

Comet nodded and padded forward "What're we going to do with him?" He asked.

Where VampireBat stood only a second ago, there was nothing except a silent breeze from a very quick movement.
"No! NatureClan is our home, Shade!"
SpottedKit stared at her sister with wide eyes, disbelief in them. "Why would you say that?"

Shadedkit's smiled faded. "It sounded fun. No one can tell us not to do something, and we'd be with dad. He obviously isn't coming back to NatureClan." She shrugged a bit disappointed.

MothPelt sat down. "I... um... am sorry, Comet. I'm really sorry. I love SilverWing very much, like a real sister, and, please don't laugh, but sometimes I love her in a motherly-way. I really do care about her, but, you know, how sometimes it's a crappy day and I get snappy and short-tempered. Really sorry again," she meowed, not looking at her brother.
SpottedKit shook her head. "But I want him to come back..."

"I'm sorry too. I over reacted. Could you do me one more favor, and take them back? I shouldn't have taken them, but..... I felt like I need them. I do need them, but They'll be happier in NatureClan" Comet meowed practically pleaded with his green eyes.

MothPelt nodded, her eyes sorrowful. "You know you can stay... It would be hard to gain back their trust after what you did, but..."
It was stronger than her; she started to cry. MothPelt never cried before, and this week, she had been a real cry-baby. It must be because she was pregnant. She was lucky that her thick fur made it seem natural.
SpottedKit, too, was crying now.

Comet's green eyes filled with tears. If nothing else he would miss his family, especially Moth. He pressed against her to comfort as much as to be comforted. "You know I can't go back. They'll hate me from now on. I attacked the medicine cat.... that's like the worst thing you can do.... of course if they had just given my kits to me to begin with..... " He trailed off anger coming into his voice with that last sentence.
