four silent cats entered camp... each dragging or carrying a body then leaving to return with more....
GeodeSoul went to MinkStar's den "MinkStar?" he called "Clan population just dropped." he said quickly turning to go back to his dead family and clanmates
Laying in the middle of camp was a large patrol, a battle patrol of mangled dead cats. The easiest to recognize was the small body of BrownBriar, next was LavenderRose, the previous deputy, almost ready to be an elder... two of her children were in the row as well... RussetBird, and StoneScar were massacred in the same manner as the first two. WheatField was next to his father, Stonescar.... dead
Dustedsnow was in tears as she saw the bodies laid... she had brought back some of those bodies........ PyritePaw, Dustedsnow, GeodeSoul, and CrestedHope were in that patrol.... the patrol that had found the bodies
"Wha... wha.. MOMMY!!!!!!" WaveringPaw's voice trilled dancing between two or three notes high pitched and ringing with sadness... she ran to the battered, shredded body of RussetBird.

Brightpaw raced over, his eyes wide. "How- How did this happened?"He stanmmered as he looked at the bodies.

Bravepaw whatched silently on, as more cats surrounded the bodies of the recently dead, one of which was his mother(Russet is his mother right?)
So often do people die, it is better to not get attached to them, he had learned that with his brother Boldkit, and well, he hadn't gotten close to anybody,m not even his mother since, so he really didn't care, though somewhere deep-down in his gut, he had a feeling to kill the person who dide this...
((Times like this I wish I still had LightSun to rp, I would love him becoming deputy, lol XD, but hes dead...wows the world...))
Grasstail shrunk to the ground, he was new to the clan, only been there a couple moons, but he still felt the pain of these deaths, expcially LavenderRose, who had taught him much of the ways of the rocky terrain and much such...(lol, go wit it XD)
((Ok, are Russetkit and Lightningkit born yet???))

GeodeSoul spoke loud enough for the clan to hear "A bear came onto territory and they tried to kill it... it had friends.. and the two bears killed them." GeodeSoul walked up to GrassTaila nd looked at him "I'm sorry.... my mom and my cousins, my family is all there.. I know what my grandmother did for you... I'm sorry."

Greentail shook his head, his white eyes which saw nothing but heat stood directly on the body of LavenderRose, which he could only tell was LavenderRose from sent, and well mostly sent...
"Tis ok, she was a good cat, but its not like I haven't lost many cats before dear to me at once, whole family got killed by a mountbeast..." Grasstail lied, ever since he joined Spectrumclan to care for Acron, he had made up a new identity, he even was beganning to like it...

Brightpaw looked back at the mangled bloody bodies. He felt rage towards the bear but pushed it aside and shakily padded forward. He dug his nose into each and every fur.

MinkStar padded out of her den at GeodeSoul's call, and sadly watched the other cat's pay their final farewell's to their family and friends. But it disstressed her the most inside that LavenderRose was dead. She could've helped her lead the Clan....Sighing, MinkStar turned to the Clan in whole. "These cat's were warriors of SpectrumClan right to the end. None of them diserved to die...They reside in StarClan now. But it is our job to pay their bodies our last respects and bury them."

WaveringPaw trembled on the brink of dying herself.....as was family tradition for the specific family the LavenderRose family somebody had to start the lament song.... GeodeSoul took the initiative he started in his soft Tenor voice "Say good bye just good bye

SingedPaw joined, even if she wasn't family truly, well what the hey? she joined in her soft low soprano. Dustedsnow joined in the fifth line her voice barely cracked with sadness as she sang in a high alto

SpeckledGlass ran out of the nursery her belly just starting to get big with the kits she was carrying, and ran over to the bodies. She looked down at her family her eyes saddened, but it didn't really matter anymore.... it was strange... that feeling. ( I miss LightSun  ) CelesteComet looked around her big blue eyes were sad. These cats had always been there as she had grown..... |

All of the LavenderRose family had joined by the time the song had finished (*Cough* sorry for powerplaying) GeodeSoul stood in complete silence.. then with his taila roudn his younger siblings he laid amon his dead kin.... EaglePaw lay down her nose in her daddy's fur... WaveringPaw was with GeodeSOul... DustedSnow lay among the dead, who were in a circle... she was in the middle with GeodeSoul and WaveringPaw...

Pastelflower's face was like cold marble statue. She sat down beside her dead mate and kits. MoonFaith's eyes were blood shot, due to crying. She sat beside pastelflower.
Bronzecloud sighed heavily, another death. He looked up at the sky, then back to the dead cats. He settled himself down beside MinkStar, "It's not your fault you know." He whispered quietly. There were rumers that MinkStar had plagued the clan.

ThunderKit looked out the Nursery's entrance, turning her head to see if there were any queens.
"Why do cats die?" the small black she-kit asked to the nearest one, her yellow eyes wide with wonder.
"And where's LightningKit?"
SilencedCry, who was pregnant with her second litter of kits by CrestedHope ((I'm gonna make her kill herself. Some kind of suicide. Though I'd need a way for her to discover what Crested did to Pyrite.)), was singing also, in a nearly silent voice, her eyes turning blank when her mother and kins returned dead. She ignored ThunderKit, unable to answer. She got up and joined her niece SiberianFire, both joined DustedSnow, WaveringPaw and GeodeSoul in the middle of the circle of their dead kins.
NightHawk slipped by the cats to lay beside his mate, DustedSnow, and sorrow look in his emerald eyes.
ThunderKit sighed when she wasn't answered. "Where's mom?" the small she-kit whispered. She was sure that EmeraldLeaf would of had answered every question she had. But she never knew anything about her father, and she looked around for some cat who would be able to answer her.

RockPrism was shaken from his mourning state by SingedPaw's cry. Darkrose? She had been on that patrol! His heart was now beating erratically. "Quick, SingedPaw! Come with me!" And he pounded out of camp, catching the patrol's scent and leading on. (New post?)

"SpweckledGlass!" ThunderKit whispered loudly, feeling in the air the heavy sorrow coming from every cat, and she felt like it wasn't time to talk too loudly. "Who's mwine and LightningKit's dwaddy?" she asked. The kit had only learned not long ago how to talk, and now her head was tilted to one side, spilling out words so quickly it was hard to understand.
NightHawk comfortably licked his mate's ear. "It's going to be alright. You'll still see them in your dreams," he was whispering. He never knew neither of his parents; his father died before he was born and his mother, Scarla, stayed hidden from him. But he knows how DustedSnow is feeling right now, as he came to see LavenderRose and the others as his family. "Make them proud and think of all the happy times you had with them. The times you laughed with them." He half-smiled as he remembered some of those funny, yet annoying, times with his sister-in-law RussetBird.
