Goldenheart layed in camp, her belly swollen. It hurt sometimes when the kits kicked or she sat the wrong way. She couldn't stop wondering what the kits would be like. Would they look like, would they be like Goldenheart? Or Chimneysweep? Or both? Or maybe neither. This would be her first litter, and she couldn't wait. She knew it would be painful, but worth it. The kits, she hoped, would be happy and healthy, and grow to be great warriors and it should be.

Chimneysweep walked across the camp and nuzzled his mate, kits wow, it was such a big shock.

Goldenheart purred loudly. She nuzzled Chimneysweep then layed her head on her paws. The kits drained a lot of her energy.

Leafkit kicked the scrap of fur next to her. Move over! She was thinking.
The kit she kicked was her sister Mothkit, who kicked back.
You Move Over! She thought.
Leafkit began to shove her sister to the far side of GoldenHeart's belly...
Mothkit squeaked in surprise.
