Today, temperature in MysticClan: perfect!
BlackKit was laying outside the Nursery, sun bathing, her belly facing the sky. It was one of those rare day when the weather is just okay, like the calm before the storm. And this she-kit was going to enjoy every second of it.
It was cloudless, and the sun was at it's highest point.
The dusty-pelted she-kit didn't even looked up from where she lay when paw-steps sounded beside her. She just twitched and ear and mumbled a "Hmm?"

A paw jammed softly into BlackKit's side "Hey BlackKit.... what're you doing?" A young male kit voice asked looking down at his fellow nursery-mate... DustKit was looking right down at BlackKit, his gold eyes shining in greeting and friendliness

"Enjoying the moment," BlackKit whispered back, her eyes close. "You should try, DustKit."
Her tail swooshed the ground contently, swiping up the dust.

DustKit shrugged though BlackKit wouldn't be able to see the movement "I suppose, it does feel nice" He agreed and layed down.... after all he indeed loved the sun when it wasn't so scorching hot. He lay on his back, his paws sticking up in the air with his eyes closed.... "Wish it was always this cool" He muttered contentedly

A mischievious grin spread across BlackKit's face as she tried to come up with a good prank to play on DustKit... He wouldn't know a thing... Already she was gathering sand in one paw, planning on throwing it on him. It wouldn't harm him, since his eyes were closed, so...

Poor DustKit was completely unsuspecting as he purred softly still laying on his back comfortable. "Soooo BlackKit how's it been?" He asked casually obviously still not suspecting a thing. His pale brown fur was about the same color as BlackKit's ... maybe a shade darker.... dark enough to absorb some heat, but light enough to reflect alot...

And swoosh! She threw the pile of sand on DustKit. She made sure her aim will avoid his face, like that he wouldn't breathe it in.

DustKit flipped over immediately, and in his hurried spin ended up getting some in his face anyways. As he landed on his paws, he ended up coughing and sputtering for a few moments... He tried hard to keep his expression hurt, but he could feel the smile twitching on the edge of his mouth.... He kept his eyes quite sad-looking.... "That was mean..." He muttered, but couldn't hold the facade for very long and ended up smiling wide almost laughing at BlackKit

Hotkit pounced on top of Dustkit and rolled over to the side. "Purfect timing Blackkit." he mewed. Smiling Hotkit watched the other two and waited his body tensed as he waited.

BlackKit stuck her tongue out at both tom kits.
"Now, I hope that comment wasn't sarcastic, HotKit," she mewed, and batted his ear. "Because if it were, consider yourself dead."
She then looked at DustKit. "And you, if you hadn't moved so suddenly, wouldn't of had swallowed sand!"

DustKit sent an annoyed glare at HotKit as he jumped on him. DustKit could take one cat picking on him every now and then, but when two team up against him..... That just makes him mad. He just rolled his gold eyes at BlackKit, sitting down and licking his paw and swiping it over his face to get the gritty sand out from around his face. "Perhaps..." He finally replied to BlackKit's comment about swallowing sand

BlackKit just shrugged. She turned her back on the two other kits, sat down, and raised her muzzle toward the sun. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the heat.

Hotkit stuck his tongue out at Blackkit before he dug himself a little hole big enough for his body and ploped down inside. "It feels good today." he mewed drowsily.

DustKit went silent as well and just looked over the camp, watching all the cats go about their duties. His golden gaze stopped on where some of the older apprentices were scuffling and he layed down to watch their movements. His dusty colored tail swished behind him accidently sending up puffs of dust everywhere.

"Yo."
A kit, with bleached blond fur with a died green line from the top of his head running all the way down to the end of his back and gold eyes, was walking up to the other kits. He looked as if he were drunk or something, from the way he could hardly take a straight step without stumbling..
Once there he grinned at the toms, and winked at BlackKit.
"Wazzup, guys?" asked AcidKit, his tongue sticking out to one side. Of course, his tongue just had to be pierced, like his ears, eyebrow and lower lip were.
BlackKit turned her back with a disgusted expression. She wasn't in the mood right now to have her wonderful day ruined by stupid AcidKit.

Hotkit rolled his eyes at Acidkit yet again. Why did Acidkit have to be so weird? he asked himself. "I hope he goes away soon or he'll ruin my day." Hotkit muttered back to Blackkit.

DustKit, completely unaware of the other kits' obvious resentment to AcidKit smiled and waved his dusty colored tail in greeting to AcidKit. "Wazzup with you?" He asked with a slight friendly smile which almost completely disappeared a few moments later, only then realizing how much the other two kits seemed to dislike the slightly wierd and extreme tom

"Yeah, man! You rock, compared to that dude and chick," AcidKit meowed, raising his paw as if he expected some kind of gangster-ish handshake. Instead he hopped up on a small rock and sat down in a weird crouched position.
"Gah, why did it have to be so fine today? Where's the heat? The drought? The sandstorm?" he muttered, exasperated.
BlackKit cleared her throat. "Um, AcidKit? We kinda enjoy this kind of weather--"
"Whaaat? Oh, I wasn't talking to you."
She rolled her eyes in disgust. "How could you so...!" she spat, not finding a correct word to go with her sentence..

DustKit looked at BlackKit and HotKit with sort of a stunned expression.... "You could be a bit nicer" He muttered, somewhat confused on why the two kits seemed to resent AcidKit.... He seemed fine to DustKit, maybe a little ecentric, but... still....

But AcidKit wasn't paying attention anymore. He seemed to be humming some heavy-metal tune, with a lot of weird scream-whispers...
"He's a jerk, DustKit. Self-centered, you know," BlackKit hissed under her breath. AcidKit was obviously not listening, or so she thought.. "Don't be a fish."
