A ginger she cat trotted into the library, feeling uncomfortable. Thunder was here, looking to visit her father ShadowSpector, who had left her family a few moons back. She never liked her family, and didn't live with them either, she lived with Carlie. But her father had never wronged her, so why not make it right with him?

Ramirez jumped down in front of Thunder unexpectedly. Most cats probably would have jumped or something but Thunder was probably pretty used to the random popping up of Ramirez. His silver eyes studied her a moment "Can I come? Or would you rather be alone?" He asked almost sounding hopeful. Ramirez hadn't been quite the same lately.. more sad, subdued, gone more often then around. He tilted his head questioningly to the side waiting on an answer from his best friend.

Thunder narrowed her eyes, thoughtful. "Fine, but don't say anything offensive. Just stay quiet." To most cats that would sound mean and harsh, but Ramirez knew her enough that it wasn't meant that way. She watched him for a long while, confused why he was so sad. Weird. She'd make sure to ask later.

Ramirez nodded completely unoffended. He sat down his tail curled around his paws, his black pelt was almost hidden by the shadows, but as he wasn't making an effort to be hidden he wasn't completely. "Does he know you're here? or should we go in and get him?" Ramirez asked obviously knowing she was waiting for her father.

"We have to go find him." Thunder meowed, looking past him into the library. This place looked odd. It had a... too smart aura.

Ramirez nodded and pushed into the library as if he owned the place. "Hey shadow? You here? You have a visitor... or two" He called loudly as if it was completely normal to just walk int oa place you've never been before and call for someone. He inspected the immediate area and upon not seeing anyone coming pushed farther in.

A black head popped up from behind a stack of books, a delighted smile on his face. "You know, you shouldn't yell in a library." ShadowSpecter meowed, trotting to meet his daughter in a cat-like embrace. "How've you been, sweetie?"

Ramirez muttered a sorry then backed out of the library so that Shadow could better get to his daughter. He backed up into the shadows one again to contemplate until Thunder was ready to leave... Not that he hadn't been doing enough contemplation to begin with.

"Hey!" Came a voice as a she cat looked at him with honey colored eyes. "I'm here too." HoneyPatch flicked her tail, and the white she cat trotted to her studies, sitting and thinking harder.
Thunder rolled her eyes and looked to Shadow, ignoring the comment about her best friend Ramirez.

After a moment of debating in his head on whether this would be considered a sharp comment or not that he'd promised Thunder he wouldn't say he grumbled "'That tom' has a name thank you very much and I'd be very pleased if you'd use it" He tried to sound more polite but well... maybe it worked, probably didn't though. Ramirez's silver eyes flickered to Thunder wondering if she considered it a sharp comment... All well, he'd apologize later.

Thunder rolled her eyes back to Ramirez. "Remember the whole shush deal?" She asked, but with a grin. She obviously didn't mind the comment.

He stuck his tongue out at Thunder "It's Ramirez" He meowed to Shadow even though Thunder had just told him to be quiet. Ramirez obviously had done that just because he could get away with it.

"And HoneyPatch, of course." ShadowSpecter spared HoneyPatch a glance, before turning back to the two younger cats. "Ramirez, I know your name. No need to get all defensive when I'm just teasing." Leaning close to his daughter, he whispered "Does he ever leave you alone?"

Ramirez's fur bristled angrily. He'd obviously heard that comment and his silver eyes flashed. "I'm not a stalker! And I've been gone for more then a moon now! Am I not allowed to follow my best friend around anymore! And just for the record she follows me at least half the time!" He snarled totally forgetting the whole no sharp comment deal, but.... eh... Anyways with that his vampiric teeth showed... Usually they didn't show for they weren't quite as long as a normal VampireBat descendent but they were still longer then usual.

Ramirez had been about to just get up and leave Thunder but when Shadow asked this HoneyPatch chick to keep him away he got up and sat down closer to Thunder with a defiant look in his silver eyes.... He didn't much like this Shadow tom anymore... at first he'd thought he'd been a pretty cool father, at least since Ramirez's father wasn't around much if at all that he knew of, but now.... yeah not now

Thunder sighed and turned to Ramirez. "K, no offence, but we had a deal, and you break it you can't stay. Deal." She meowed, but of course again Ramirez would know her enough to not take offence.
