A white tom peered into the dark den, it was early in the morning, Sam had gone hunting in the mean time. He was always trying to keep himself busy in loner territory. He knew it was time for him to reaturn back to Rogue territory. It had been moons since the last attack on Leaf so he figured that Vixen had given up or got bored with them. He breathed softly through his mouth full of mouse, he waited a few mintues for the sun to come up before padding in the den towards Leaf and dropping the mouse by Leaf. He nudged her softly, he smiled at her lovingly.

Leaf twisted in her sleep. She pawed his muzzle playfully before opening her eyes and getting to her paws, shaking out her fur. "Morning." She meowed groggily to him with a yawn. He gave her tortoishell fur a few quick lickes so it lay flat again.

"Morning" Sam meowed watching her carefully, he looked down at his white paws. "How was your sleep?" He asked his voice had become deeper and more manly over the moons. He was too his full size now.

Leaf had grown too. Her kit fluff was completely gone, leaving her even more beautiful then before. The brown in her tortoishell pelt had turned to a carmely colored brown, and the dark brown had become black. Her green eyes, though, were still gentle. "Fine, fine." She meowed, sensing something was going on with him... he wouldn't meet her gaze.

Sam sighed he knew she knew him too well so he might as well just say it. "That's good." He meowed pausing to think of how he was going to put this, he continued on. "I was just thinking that since....." He paused for a second his face bitter "Vixen has finally left us alone, that maybe we could go live in my den in rogue territory? I mean it's fine if you don't." Sam meowed him blue eyes soft as he looked at her.

Leaf pricked her ears. She was half rogue already, so it didn't sound all to bad. "Ooh, rogues. That actually sounds fun." She meowed thoughtfully with a smile on her face.

"Really?! I'm glad you feel that way!" Sam meowed his voice happy, "So when do you want to go there?" He asked without sounding too eager. He had been in Loner turf for far too long... he smiled his goofy crooked smile.

Leaf shrugged. She actually thought the idea sounded good. It gave her a chance to explore...

"Ok sunhigh it is then" Sam stated happily looking at Leaf, he was glad that she atually sounded intresting in going. "We're going to have to be careful though" Sam stated. It would be his worst nightmare to run into Vixen.

Leaf smiled, then frowned slightly, trying to fight it. For her, today was a big day. "Yeah.." She sighed, realizing too that the fact of running into Vixen would be stronger.

Sam watched Leaf frown in worry, he could understand that. HE could understand why she was afraid of Vixen, after what Vixen had done to her anyone could. Sam flicked her ear with his tail tip, "Don't worry, you have me." he meowed
