MothStar sighed, "Well there are quite a lot of new apprentices and not enough warriors so choices are limited" MothStar meowed with a gaze off in the distance. She wondered what there was she could do, there really was not much no matter how hard she thought. "Do you have an idea of what we could do to solve this problem?"
((guys there are a serious lack of active warriors... I think CC should be a freebie at least for a little and we should do somthing about the inactive cats))

A ginger tom padded behind SnapPaw and DeadPaw. "If you think you're getting new mentors with that behavior, then you might as well stop asking now." LionMane, the deputy meowed, he already towered over the apprentices as he sat by his sister. "If you need to though, MothStar, I can take an apprentice."
(SpineTail I can play if you want, but it doesn't matter to me)

LionMane looked from MothStar to the apprentices. He didn't care which way it went. Last he remembered his apprentice had been made a warrior.
Meanwhile, CougarKnife paced behind SaborBlades. She wasn't too far out of camp to hear what was happening inside, she had very, very acute hearing. "Hurry it up, Sabor." She hissed under her breath.

"Maybe SnapPaw and I could both be mentored by LionsMane??" DeadPaw pushed. Was the tide turning?
Could he possibly go from mentor-unknown to being the apprentice of the deputy training with a super-feisty female at his side?
He didnt let himself hope...

LionMane flicked his tail with a grin.

"Now, let's not push it." The ginger tom meowed with a grin. "We could give one to CougarKnife? Her apprentice isn't as active as the others. And anyway, MothStar, it would help show if shes loyal or not to the Clan. I think SaborBlades has enough to handle with SnowPaw, but RiverPaw won't be around as much as SaborBlades is." It would prove the she cats loyalty. And, SaborBlades would be busy with SnowPaw, but CougarKnife would have the chance to sneak out more with just RiverPaw. LionMane had less time then the she cat being deputy as well.

"CougarKnife?! You mean the one who just smashed JayPaw's face in??" DeadPaw's voice leaped at least two octaves and reached a note of shrill disbelief. He whitened under his fur,
"No, no, not her..." He snuck a furitive glance around, eyes prowling for the cat he desperately didnt want to be his mentor.
Like, CougarKnife was hot and all, but no cat could ever plea with him long or hard enough for him to agree to be her apprentice.

FrostPaw was starting to get slightly annoyed. "Look, if you want to give someone more then one apprentice why don't the leader take two... Obviously the leader should be able to handle more then one while LionMane can take the other one" She suggested rolling her blue eyes slightly

"No Deadpaw you don't have to be with Cougarknife if you dislike the idea that much" MothStar meowed and turned to look at her brother, "Frostpaw might have a point you know" MothStar meowed calmly her eyes lowering to look at her. "Frostpaw has shown me she is very well behaved and I think I could handle another" Mothstar meowed looking back to her brother.

Riverpaw curled her tail around her paws as she sat down. Yawning she watched the other cats go about business.
Redpaw stood where he was and watched the leader.
Wolfmoon smiled and went to MothStar. "I could take another if its okay. Thinpaw is calm so Snappaw or Deadpaw wont be much trouble." she mewed looking at her leader.

"You're a StarGazer and I don't think that either of them want to be StarGazer's" FrostPaw replied curling her long silvery tail around her paws a small smile crossing her face. She sat up just a bit straighter at the praise from her leader and mentor.

DeadPaw sunk his claws into the icy ground and stretched.
"So can I be mentored by you, MothStar?" The only thing better than being mentored by the deputy would be to be mentored by the leader. The female leader.

"I suppose so. LionMane you can take Snappaw as your apprentice." MothStar meowed. She hoped that everyone would just be happy now. After all they got new mentors which is what they asked for. MothStar looked at Deadpaw waiting to see if he was going to bring up some other problem.

"Uhh. We just DID reach an agreement. You've got LionsMane and I've got MothStar." DeadPaw thanked MothStar and set off for the apprentices' den to make his nest before all the good spots were taken...
"Oh, wait. MothStar are we training today?" When he said 'we', he winked at pretty FrostPaw, including her too. Now that they had the same mentor, they'd be spending a lot more time together..

Finally! The Great One haf decided, SnapPaw thought sarcastically.
But being stuck with the deputy? Gah. Why couldn't she just have a weak warrior, whom she could boss around instead of the other way around? Well, the leader would of been fine, too. She could of gave MothStar a burn-out or something. That would of been fun. But, of course, DeadPaw got the leader. She glared at him.
The small gray she-cat looked up at LionMane with an almost smug expression. Maybe she could just managed to switch the roles here..

Mothstar meowed distantly as if she was thinking about somthing else at the time.
She shook her head clearing her thoughts. She looked at her two apprentices.
"I'll come get you in an hour or two" MothStar meowed.

LionMane glared at MothStar. After he had just said he was too loaded with duties that he couldn't take another apprentice, she completely ignored him? He looked to SnapPaw, and the look in his eyes would have almost certainly turned around her smug expression. "We'll train later." He meowed, his voice very stern. Obviously he had read her expression easily, and she would never boss him around... ever. "I have patrols to organize." He stalked off to the warriors den, hoping to lead a patrol with himself, SnapPaw and another warrior. He would most likely take the senior warrior GoldenHeart, and an apprentice.
