Vitalany let out a soft sigh "Is he taking it hard?" She asked obviously refering to the death of SugarStorm thinking that StormShadow would know about it. He might and he might not. she blinked a couple times trying to picture if how upset he would actually be.... From what she had seen her father and mother weren't on the best of terms but it was just a little skirmish.

StormShadow blinked and shrugged. "If you mean you're leavng... he's getting over it." He meowed. The whole of NatureClan didn't know about SugarStorm's death. HyenaSong had only told NarrowRiver.

Vitalany looked confused "My leaving? I never lived in NatureClan" She replied narrowing her eyes slightly trying to think back.... "Errrr... mom's leaving?" She asked and then her violet eyes flashed with understanding "HyenaSong didn't tell the clan?" Vitalany asked mostly to herself

StormShadow blinked more, answering her earlier question. "Well, whatever... your mom was pregnant with you when she left so.. technically yeah you're leaving." He flashed a joking smile. Then he grew serious. "Tell the Clan... what?"

Vitalany rolled her eyes "They didn't know that smart one" She grumbled... She remembered plainly that her dad hadn't had a clue until he ran into her accidently. She giggled softly and then mellowed again as she thought about the question.... "SugarStorm is dead" She put out bluntly "She was assassinated" Vitalany whispered once again looking back over her shoulder to where they'd escaped from Vixen.... That would be why little Vitalany hated assassins so much

StormShadow's eyes widened and his jaws dropped open. "SugarStorm?" He said in surprise. Sure, SugarStorm hadn't been as good a fighting as a hunter, but HyenaSong seemed very protective. He thought she would have saved her. He couldn't imagine, well actually he could. He was technically an orphan, his dad of another Clan and growing old, and his mother dead. "I'm so sorry..." He whispered.

Vitalany tried to just shrug as if it didn't matter... she was trying to put on the brave face but it was obvious the memory was still painful. "She didn't even stand a chance.... you seem to know her a bit or at least her personality then you'll know that she never followed rules and didn't listen to advice much... She went off on her know and... yeah... HyenaSong wasn't with her" She explained slightly blinking a couple of times in almost frustration it seemed.

Vitalany would have laughed at him if this had been a happier conversation but it was clear that it had made her mood much happier at the least. "That has nothing to do with anything... and actually I know its not Hyena's fault, its my moms" She replied shaking her head. She went quiet for a moment contemplating...
StormShadow.... that name sounds familiar, what did he do?.... why does it sound familar... She wondered Maybe his parents were important or something... siblings? does he have siblings?
Gah! Vitalany didn't like not having answers. "Who's your parnets?" She asked suddenly

StormShadow looked taken by surprise for a bit. Parents were a touchy subject for him, seeing as he had none.
He cast his gaze to his paws and swallowed softly. "GoldenTansy and BrightFlames. Neither of them I ever knew." He took a deep breath and tried to compose his expression, peeking up at her.

Vitalany gave him a sympathetic glance and she almost regretted askign the question but it did open up so many confusing thoughts
GoldenTansy eh?... BrightFlames... Both were in the CAE, GoldenTansy one of the heads, left NatureClan then came back... hmmmm... killed by a combination of things after killing her X-mate Jay... yep that would be where she'd heard these names from... Well they aren't important in this case
"Oh well, how's your sister... FeatherPaw... though I guess now she has her warrior name..." She began changing the subject to a more happy one... surely FeatherPaw was still alive and not killed by those two cats that she made rivals of... errr... MagPieTail... Scream... yeah them two

"FeatherNight." StormShadow corrected, glad to change the subject. "She's doing fine. Stubborn as usual." He grinned, though it didn't touch his eyes yet. He would recover though. "Luckily MagpieTail and Scream are never around to annoy her." He meowed, as if he read her thoughts. What everyone but one NatureClanner, ex rogue but born in NatureClan, SpottedPath knew he was reincarnated.

Scream and Dancer had only been in the rogues for a day but that had been enough... Vitalany had to actually stop spying for the day because she couldn't stand spying on them two

Vitalany joined in the soft laugh... She knew better then to make too much noise at this time of night... That would bring every assassin within a certain radius of them toward them... and that wasn't high on her list right now... "Sooo.... whats a NatureClanner such as yourself doing all the way over here in Alley Rogue Territory then?" She asked not sure if she'd asked this question or not before... She seemed to have trouble remembering things around StormShadow. He was making her slihglty lightheaded

StormShadow shrugged, blue eyes shining, reflecting the moon. But for some reason, he hadn't realized it had grown so late. He was only focused on the she cat infront of him. "Well, exploring I guess." He gazed around. "Seems familiar... for some reason." HE always got senses of deja vu.

Vitalany laughed... It was a slightly absurd thought. "I would have gotten out one way or another. Vixen didn't and still doesn't know what she was about to get hersefl into. You see I've got powerful allies... Vixen may be more powerful then them just herself, but if you put all mine together where as Vixen has no allies at this moment then she would have crashed and burned" She went off on a speech like rant. "Oh, I bought them" She added when she noticed StormShadow looking at her bracelets "Or actually I guess Carlie bought them but yeah, they're very handy"

But you can always remember me as the best as I was the first... well... after Vierna" She squeaked in enthusiasm but she got softer when she thought of Vierna... She didn't even try to hide the pain of thinking of Vierna... Her best friend

StormShadow hesitated before stepping closer to her and laying his tail on her shoulder, uttering no words. She deserved to grieve. "I'm sorry," He meowed, trying to lighten the mood. "But I have no idead what you're talking about." Vitalany hadn't told him that Carlie had a spy group, or anything about leutinents.

Vitalany's mood was lightened again in a few moments, after all you can't help Vierna now, and you couldn't then. She chuckled softly. "It's very confusing to explain really, you should come visit soon and I'll show you what I'm talking about... that is if you can escape from your clan duties for a bit" She suggested lightly and slighlty hopeful

Vitalany looked uncertain about coming to NatureClan "I don't know.... I mean clan cats usually don't like rogues coming onto their territory and most of NatureClan don't even know I exist soooo... I don't think I'd be very welcome.... But who knows, maybe I will sometime" She nodded and got to her paws and doing a little twirl that sent her cape around to land neatly against her back. "I should probably leave now.... I've got to report to Carlie and all" She added looking somewhat disappointed
