A calico outline filtered off the moon as a she cat stalked through Stone Alley territory in search of a young cat. To make herself stronger, she needed a new apprentice. Vixen's green eyes scanned the dark, the night already covering the sky. She had to think of the posing threat of HyenaSong, the the burden of the tasks she had to take to keep care of her kits, she'd need some one to ally with her and do what she couldn't at the time. She gazed around, eyes narrowed in concentration. She had manipulated her last two allys into coming with her, but both of them hated her now, adding more trouble. No, this time she'd keep this ally and make it strong. It was her time to rise.

Two violet eyes followed Vixen's walk through the allies this night. The young black and white she-cat curiously followed her trying to figure out what Vixen was up to this time... nothing good of course.... Vitalany jumped down just in front of Vixen with a sly grin her black cape flowing around behind her before settling neatly across her back. "What're you up to this time Vixen?" She asked her long time nemesis... for lack of a better word.

Vixen's white claws were already retracted, but she looked at Vitalany, one of her biggest threats neice, with a sly and evil grin. "Nothing you should be interested in." She meowed evenly, staring into the other cats eyes.

Vitalany did a little twirl... just one of her weird habits that she has (don't ask) that sent her cloak/cape fllying out behind her, almost kit-like... The young she-cat was still only about 10 moons so still very young. "How's the big battle with HyenaSong going? I heard you lost" She asked looking completely innocent but Vixen was smart enough to know better than that surely.

Vixen rolled her eyes. "Only because Hyena relies on surprise." Which wasn't true, HyenaSong was strong, as strong as Vixen and maybe more. "No beat it, kit, I don't have the time." She pushed past Vitalany, shouldering her away easily and padding away, slowly, still looking for a worthy cat, Vitalany had only gotten on her nerves.

"Who're ya' lookin' for?" Vitalany asked walking after Vixen and easily keeping pace even though Vixen was a good bit older than her... Vitalany at least had speed on her side... and cuteness, but no strength at all.... Every now and then she would do another little twirl and she was careful to keep a bit of distance between her and the dangerous assassin.

"I said," Vixen whirled on the 10 moon old cat, only to surprise her, before turning around and walking again, body held straight. "Nothing that would interest you. Or no one." Why would she tell a spy, especially one who worked for Carlie, what she was up to?

"Really? Well, bad for you I'm quite interested... " Vitalany replied not at all dismayed by the sudden turn against her by Vixen. Vixen would be pretty stupid to kill her anyways... better for Vixen to hold her ransom or something before killing her. A sudden realization dawned on they little black and white she-cats face. "You're looking for a new apprentice now that Sam has turned against you.... to raise your power correct?" She asked though she knew she'd hit the mark.

Vixen rolled her eyes. "And you care because... I don't care if Carlie knows. She can know whatever she likes." Vixen hissed, not even borhtering to turn to the cat. "And anyway, Sam and I have a deal. He isn't turned on me anymore, just hates me. Not like he'll come strolling along anytime soon and be like 'hey lert's fight'." She rolled her eyes again. He cares too much for his wittle girlfriend (Yes I know I spelled little wittle) She said in her head, mimicking a tone an adult would use on a baby.

"Well, obviously I care more about this subject then Carlie does becasue my Aunt is involved alot in this. " Vitalany answered quite matter of factly her violet eyes sparkling dimly in the moonlight. "It's good you and Sam figured out a truce sorta... at least until you decide you can benefit more from cutting his throat" She then replied, in a surprisingly calm voice as if it was an everyday thing to turn on someone and kill them.

Vixen glared infront of her, but not Vitalany. "Oh, please, I can handle your aunt on my own. But since she wants to play games, what's wrong with cheating? I know she will too." The calico stated, picking up her pace only slightly. "It's not a truce, he gave me a cat to kill and I said I'd leave him alone. If I do come across him then slitting his throat would be at the top of my list. And until I kill some enemies, I'm gonna keep from getting thousands more. Since he's tied into the Death family, I know it's not smart." She growled. "Duh."

Vitalany nodded feigning slight surprise and filed all this information away for later study. "Nope, cheating is not against the 'rules' Well, technically there aren't really rules so you can't break them if they're non-existant. Anyways you're a pretty smart she-cat it would seem" She continued matching Vixen's pace for a moment and then going slightly faster to get ahead of the calico cat.

Vixen stopped and narrowed her eyes, batting Vitalany ears before leaping and grabbing her scruff. She had an idea. Dragging the cat behind boulder with one small opening, she threw her in. "Thanks for being so helpful. Until your aunty comes with something for me, you'll stay here... for ransom." She grinned.

"Hey! I'm not property to be bought and sold" Vitalany hissed making a desperate dash past Vixen but found that she could fit through... Vixen was firmly in place and as small as she was... she wasn't small enough. Still she gave a defiant hiss "This is the worst idea you've ever had Vixen... You'll have both HyenaSong AND Carlie with her group after you" She growled her voice rising with her anger... very unusual for her but well... kidnapping was a reason to be mad.

"They already are." Vixen stated with a grin. She pricked her ears, hearing pawsteps. But they disappeared and she guessed the cat was too stupid to sense the two. "Yeah, yeah, shut it kit."
That was when a gray tabby, only looking 12 moons, appeared on the boulders behind Vitalany and out of Vixen's sight. The tom crept down the rock a few feet before leaping down lightly, not heard. Without a word, he beckoned to Vitalany to follow him. StormPaw knew so much because of his past life, though he didn't yet understand he was reincarnated. With that he turned and began digging, looking as if he was gonna dig them out. But when he was finished he turned, he had packed dirt against the rocks that surronded the two. He packed the dirt in, and it looked like a step. He beckoned to Vitalany again and jumped lightly on the dirt hill before reaching the boulder infront of him, easily. He jumped down on the other side and turned for Vitalany.

Vitalany watched the young tom curiously and teary-eyed as he went about his work and then when he was finished... she hestitated to follow... Lets see... stay here as ransom or follow the handsome young tom.... thats a hard one(sarcasm) She followed him without a word forcing herself to blink back the tears... no need to look like a sissy in front of him...

StormPaw waited with a grin and padded further away form Vixen. "Don't want to get caught again. I think death isn't on my list right now." He meowed with a joking tone when they were out of earshot. "Sorry, had to be a rescue party for once." He purred with a smile.

Vitalany had an annoyed expression on her face by this time... Out of annoyance for herself. "Who're you?" She asked in a slighlty higher and more demanding tone then normal... She realized she'd probably spoken a bit too sharply so she lowered her violet eyes and pawed at the ground to think up somehting like an apology.

Vitalany's eyes widened slighlty and she took a glance b ack behind her shoulder before turning her purple eyes back toward him. She now had an almost guilty expression on her face. "Wait! You're NatureClanner right?" She asked quickly adding the adorable head tilt thing to add emphasis.

"My dad lives in NatureClan... and my mother used too, and as far as I know my Aunts and Uncles still do as well" Vitalany explained a curious light in her bright eyes... Her voice trailed to a softer volume when she mentioned her mother but continued anyway "Would you mind telling me how its goin' around there please?" She asked a hopeful expression. True she had never been close to either of her parents... or any other Aunt/Uncles other than HyenaSong but that didn't mean that she wouldn't want to know if they're doing fine.

StormShadow blinked, thinking back to any time some cats left NatureClan. "Wait, SugarStorm and HyenaSong?" He asked, remembering the two names easily. He shook his head nad let it go. "Fine, we're waiting for the Shadowed Doom to attack us, which they will any day now and most likely chase us out like they did to SpectrumClan." He grimaced. "SpottedPath came back too. But nothing much has been going on..." He trailed off.

"You know them!" She squeaked happily in her delighted high soprano voice. "Yeah, my dad is NarrowRiver... he doin' fine?" Vitalany asked slightly concerned... She hadn't talken to her brother recently and he was usually the one where he found otu how their dad was doing as Vitalany never really showed up. Vitalany smiled "The Shadowed Doom know that they're gonna have to work harder to knock NatureClan down... their element of surprise is gone now and everyone is waiting... No, I think the Shadowed Doom will find that NatureClan has its defenses ready.. am I right or am i right?" She asked completely confident in her observations.

StormShadow grinned, happy her mood was better. "Yeah, that's true." He nodded. "I haven't seen NarrowRiver around much. He's doing okay I guess, but we don't cross paths much.
