Tastes Like Morning

SummerBreeze made her way out of the Alchemists' Den, and stretched, adding a huge yawn. The calico she-cat blinked a couple of times, and twitched her whiskers. The air was heavy, announcing rain. Though everything was so peaceful, silent and calm it almost seemed like morning had a taste. Not many cats were up yet, only early-birds.
She noticed MothPaw, EmberGlow's reincarnation, looking at the birds in the trees hungrily. SummerBreeze wouldn't be surprised if the dark gray she-cat suddenly ran to the tree to climb it, and then get stuck in it, calling for help. The thought made her smile. Her smiled turned into a chuckle when TwigClaw started to warn the apprentice; he also guessed what MothPaw had in mind.
She also spotted VioletLight, a graceful pale gray she-cat with pastel violet eyes, heading for the middle of camp to gather the morning patrol. The Alchemist was about to go with her, when the stiffness of her front paw reminded her she could only limp.
SummerBreeze blinked once when she heard paw-steps, and turned to see who it was... ((anyone?))

(I will) StormCloud padded in and looked at SummerBreeze. He dipped his head. "Hi Summerbreeze."

[EmberGlow]

She smiled sweetly. "Greetings, StormCloud. You are up quite early. Morning patrol, or just having a hard time sleeping? MothPaw IS quite noisy..." SummerBreeze chuckled a little.

[~Stormy~]

StormCloud chuckled. "No, I was training DawnPaw, shes taking a break right now, and you?"

[EmberGlow]

"Training her so early? Poor thing needs some sleep, you know!" she scolded him.
Though the amusement came back in her dark blue eyes quite quickly. "I'm getting a blow of cool air to wake up. Gotta work soon. I'm making a potion that could cure the poison some cats put on their claws. Poison Claws, I think it's called. Very dangerous..."

[~Stormy~]

StormCloud nodded. " Im not too good at collecting herbs... never exactly learned. And she followed me out of camp so i decided to train her while she was up."

[EmberGlow]

"Oh." SummerBreeze sat down, curling her fluffy tail around her dead and forever-broken white front paw. "Would you like to come with me and help me collect berries and pollen for my cure? At the same time, you will learn a little," she suggested. She always had to have a warrior by her side when she went out gathering herbs; her paw made her vulnerable to any kind of attack. Usually it was VioletLight who goes with her, but she had the morning patrol.

[~Stormy~]

StormCloud nodded. "Sure, could be fun." He meowed and shook his pelt feeling the frosty morning air.

[EmberGlow]

The Alchemist she-cat smiled. "Good! And thanks. Now, come."
She limped toward the camp's exit.
