Okay guys, I'm going to hold a contest. The contest is pretty much this:
Anyone that wants to join the contest will post here a sort of... advertisement that we can all post on other websites about how great and stuff our site is. The thing is that we want to inspire other people to join us.
Things you could include in your contest advertisement are:
*Info about all the clans(cool stuff, not like: "so they're like, clans, of like, cats...")
*Why they should join(if you have an awesome convincing reason)
*A preview thing like: You're walking down a dark alley...
*About activeness of members, if you can include something like that naturally without that crappy "and OMG, the members are super UBER active!!"
*An interesting but not confusing plot
*Anything else u think would be cool to include
Post your finished advetisement on here and we'll all vote later on the best one.
First place winner will get 3 freebie cats in any group, 10 karma, and a skin made in the honor of one of your cats or the scene you describe in your add(your choice)
Second place winner will get 2 freebie cats in any clan or rogue group and 5 karma
Third place winner will get 1 freebie cat in any clan and 3 karma
And every other participant will get 3 karma
The advertisement that wins will be the one we all use to advertise on other sites with.

Gaining Power Every Hour T W I L I G H T F O R E S T
The Fifth Clan
Gather 'round young ones and let me tell you a story;
a story about Starclan and the ones who fight against them.
Long before you were born, my dear ones, there were
four clans called SpectrumClan, NatureClan, MysticClan,
and CelestialClan. These clans were just like ours today;
following the warrior code and Starclan was
what they did. This angered Abyssclan, the ones
who ploted against Starclan. Why didn't the clans
worship them?! Well they began to conspire and plot;
soon enough thier plan was set.
On a warm Greenleaf
gathering, under the full moon and lights of Starclan,
Abyssclan took over Spectrumclan's deputy, controling
his mind. Poor Sourbite had no choice but to follow the
commands that Abyssclan gave him. On that warm night,
Sourbite, under the control of Abyssclan, convinced
all the clan leaders that ex-rouges, ex-kittypets, and halfclanners
were not meant to be in the clans. He conviced them
that those of impure blood had to be thrown out of thier
own clan. And so they were. All at once, the impure were thrown
out; outcasts. Forced to live life in solitude.
However, several of the cats were unwilling to leave clan life.
The ex-clanners decided to create thier own clan. Now you
may ask, "what happend to this fifth clan?" Well my dear, that is
for you to decide.

Have you ever wished you could live in a book? That you could take part in the beautiful love, but dangerous battles and wars. Let me tell you this: You. Can. It is not impossible; nothing is impossible. There is only one downside to everything: It all comes with a price. You must survive and make a living for yourself and others, hunt and fight for the ones you love. You don’t have to, but don’t you want to? You seem clueless when it comes to the knowledge of what will happen, has happened, and is happening. Listen carefully and don’t rip the pages. . . StormClan, DesertClan, MarshClan and BriarClan all lived in peace. There were occasional wars, but they cooperated well enough. One unfortunate day, an unstopable war between the Clans and the Rogues broke out. Each side fought with all their might and power, clinging to the hope that they would live to see thier grand-children. They needed more space to hunt and shelter in as the Clans and Rogues kept growing. Each group needed what the other had. Many died the fateful day of the Battle of Change. But many more would have died if StarClan had not stopped it. They gave the Clans new territories and names. They became CelestialClan, MysticClan, NatureClan and SpectrumClan. But from that battle came different cats... CHANGED cats. They didn’t fight or hunt much unless absolutely needed. StarClan gave them powers. NatureClan got alchemist cats who were all as knowledgable about herbs and poisons as medicine cats. MysticClan got fire seer cats that read StarClan's signs and wonders through the light of a never-dying fire in their den. SpectrumClan got light scripter cats that make ink and dye out of the juice of berries and plants and script history onto huge boulders. CelestialClan got star gazer cats who study the skies and read StarClan's messages in the constelations. The Clans lived in havoc, though. Many cats' lives were ruled by AbyssClan, the evil ancestors that opposed StarClan. StarClan and AbyssClan fought and StarClan, predictably, won in the end. AbyssClan shoarded away and StarClan ruled the Clans once more. But AbyssClan grew stronger over time. They put a new plan into action: They took over the mind of SourBite, the deputy of SpectrumClan. They waited until a day when SpectrumClan's leader, MinkStar, was too sick to go to a gathering, and SourBite had to lead the clan in her place. . . SourBite went to the gathering at the head of his clan and gave a convincing speech about how cats of Rogue and Kittypet descent and half-clans were the cause of nearly every problem the clans had. And what he said made sense. The clan leaders tossed out their cats of impure blood like yesterday's prey. . . Some of the Outcasted cats had loved living clan life, so they formed a clan and took EverPain as their leader and AbyssClan as their guide. EverPain became EverStar, the ruler of the Fifth Clan; StarClan still showed no interest in the new clan. They ignore them as if they arent there. EverStar still hasnt gotten her nine lives. What will become of the clans now? How does your book fit in with the ones of the Clan cats? Everyone is a puzzle piece: Lost, found, and placed carefully in the puzzle. Are you a piece? Twilight Forest V2
A Warrior Cat Forum URL: theforestv2.proboards52.com/index.cgi[/center] If you are reading this, you probably love Warrior Cats. When you visit different forums, you likely see the same things: normal Clans, StarClan, and the Loners. But here, we kick it up a notch. We still have four clans: Celestial, Spectrum, Nature and Mystic; all with their own stories and talents. We still have StarClan, but we also have AbyssClan, the enemy and total opposite of StarClan. We have the Fifth Clan, which is a band of loners, outcasts and rogues, bound together in a fight for survival after being outcasted from the other clans for not being of pure clan blood. In Twilight Forest, you'll find intense battles, heart stopping drama, and the passion of the lives of wild cats fills anyone who looks here. Twilight Forest also has Faiths. Faiths are cats who don't believe in StarClan. Their whole lives revolve around their own sort of... "religion". Light and Shadow are the only two faiths right now, but there could be more to come. Their story is not to be missed. The Loners, Rogues and Outcasts not in the Fifth Clan have lives too! You know about the Loners, the cats kicked out of or who never lived in Clans. You know about Rogues, Loners gone bad. But do you know about the Outcasts? The Outcasts are cats banished from the Faiths simply because they either mated out of Faith, were born to parents who mated out of Faith, or committed some crime that was worthy of exile. You can read of their adventures here. And don't forget the kittypets! We have them here too. Now for something really new... Gypsies! These free spirited cats have lives all their own. Although there are few, their stories can not be ignored. If you've seen them on other sites, know this: They originated here, in the Twilight Forest. All are welcome here. You don't have to make 200 word posts. And you don't have to go at it alone. One of the best things about this site is the people on it. The members are active and helpful. They don't scorn your ideas, they just play along. The staff keeps the site up to date and running smoothly. You're walking through a forest with lush grass and tall trees. Your pelt shines Black-and-White in the dappled moonlight. Your paws make light thumps as you walk through the forest. The night sky is shining with the vibrant lights of your warrior ancestors; though they only appear as stars. You sit down and lay your head on your paws glumliy.
You can't believe what happened in such a short period of time. Only last night, Sourbite -Deputy of Spectrumclan and pawn of AbyssClan(the enemy of StarClan)- convinced all cats that ex-rogues or ex-loners(cats that were once rogue, kittypet, or loner cats but then joined a clan) and half-clans(cats whose parents mated out of clan) did not deserve to be in a clan and were the cause of all the trouble the Clans had ever been in. The leaders did not question SourBite and cast out their ex-rouges and half-clans to fend for themselves.
The banished cats were terribly confused. Some went back to living alone while others realized that Clan life was the only life for them. So the cats who wanted to live in a Clan still, even though their leaders and friends had made them outcasts, elected a leader and STARTED THEIR OWN CLAN. Starclan did not know what what to think of this new clan; there had always been four clans in the forest. The cats of the new clan did not seem to mind that StarClan was ignoring them and instead, followed another set of warrior ancestors: AbyssClan.
EverStar, their leader, had quite a disadvantage: she did not have her 9 lives because Starclan was not their guide.
You sigh, a little tired of all the changes, the problems and the worries.
Then suddenly a loud rustling of branches comes from behind you, stealing you from your thoughts. Your eyes shoot to the bushes and you whip around to see a lone rogue cat dipping it's paw into the back of the nursery while the queens were sleeping; stealing precious kits from YOUR clan!!! The whole thing took two or three seconds. You barely have time to think before the cat dashes away with the kits leaving your eyes wide half with fright, half with anger. This has been happening a lot lately. Rogues and predators have been stealing kits as if they'd like to wipe out the Fifth Clan. Your clan...
Do you chase after the cat?
Do you report back to your leader??
Do you idle around and say nothing???

FYI: This isn't nearly as good as the others. This was just a simple idea that I thought would be kewl. Now a 5th clan has arisen, Bogclan. Everstar leading them with a tactile approach. What will happen when these cats' paths are crossed? A group of cats have gathered around the crackling fire. An old cat sits down to tell his theory, “Our world is like a game of chess. You have a dark side and a light side. Each threatening to destroy the other, even at the cost of their own lives. The bright eyed, eager apprentices try to help, but they are only pawns in the grand scheme. The seasoned warriors put their life on the line to save their leader and what they believe in. Yet they are destroyed because of it. With each loss of life, the opposing force has gained something. “The board is checkered black and white for a reason. Even the light side has darkened squares, and vise versa. Each cat can be corrupted by either sides, shifting their alliances. Ah. Of course you can not shift your alliance in chess.” The cat tut's softly, “So there is only one noble thing to do... Take yourself out of the game.” He raises his old eyes to meet each pair of gazing eyes. He continues, his voice a low whisper, “Another loss. Another gain. Funny how it all works?” Dry humor was recognizable in his voice. “Time drags on. Your still here? My, my, my... aren't we a tactful one?” He raises his eye brows, “As the time went on more noble cats have fallen. Then the Leader is struck down by the foe. Thus ending the game,” He pauses for a moment, “And then it all begins again.” He stretches and looks at all the gapping faces. With out another glance, he vanishes into the shadows. This old cat believes that we're plunged in a world of black and white squares, and indeed I must agree. A new game has begun and new players have emerged from the playing field. Everstar has risen, with her own clan. Defying all odds. She is now the key to the game. Will she and her Fifth clan be destroyed in the never ending game? Or will she and her clan prevail and live to see another game? Will the past come back to haunt her? What will the opposing forces do? So many questions and so few answers in return. But now I turn to you, with a question of my own. Will you be a simple pawn in the grand scheme or will you conquer all in your path? The choice is for you to decide, my dear. |
