The tempeture was perfect. Nice and sunny. Of course, that meant a storm was coming. Especially because the sky was so blue. The air was tense, too. Only a few birds sang.
Even though Killa's kits were just born two night earlier, was wanted them to be out today. And so, with the help of her older kit, Rar, they managed to bring the beautiful twins outside. There was a lot of commotion at the Market place, but they managed to find somewhere quiet.
"Wakey-wakey, Pon and Zi," the mother crooned at the kits, gently nuzzling them awake. "It's beautiful outside."
Rar, who was starting to feel forgotten, started pacing around to a boring rhythm.
((those who rp pon and zi, and anyone else who wants to join))

Under a hawthorn bush, two yellow/amber-ish eyes opened to a new day. Her bush was just outside of the Mark Place, for last night she had been too tired to have to deal with other cats at the moment. She had been frightened to go in. After sitting up and stretching, and attempting to ignore to rumble of her hungry stomach, the pretty kit groomed her pelt quickly. She would have to go in there eventually if she wasnted any chance of finding food. The yellow, 5-moon-old she-kit timidly peeked around the corner before stepping into the Market Place. It was early, but activity bustled around everywhere. She tried hard not to be stepped on, but was knocked back by a large, gruff looking tom. She hit some other object, and realised while she was picked herself up that it was another cat. "I'm so sorry!" she meowed in a chime-like voice to Rar. "I didn't mean it! That other cat-he just-I'm so sorry." she repeated, rather frazzeled.

"Ow," Rar moaned, shaking her paw. Her shoulder was sore, too. Oh, well. She kinda got used to being not seen. The gray she-cat with the punk-ish style forced a smile at the yellow kit. They were almost the same age, though Rar was probably a moon younger. "That's alright. I should of been paying more attention..." she started, excusing herself out of habit.

The kit paused. Why didn't this other kit spit at her, or shout an insult, or call someone bigger over that would snap at the yellow kit's tail? That's what usually happened when the yellow kit encountered someone. "..I'm Tinsel." she introduced tentively.

And why didn't the other she-kit just left like cats usually do? Rar smiled again, this time not a faking. "That's a cute name! I'm Rar," she mewed. "You have pretty fur. Did you dye it? Or is it natural?" Rar had a streak of red at the top of her head, dyed by a she-cat nearby. It cost a lot, but so did her earrings and bracelets.

Tinsel cocked her head. She wasn't quite sure how you 'dye' your fur, but she shook her head regardless. "No. But this isn't anything great." she meowed, moving her tail around in her face so she could see her yellow fur. "Hah, you should see my brother. He's red like a cherry. I used to make fun of him when we were little..." Tinsel faltered. I twas too soon for her to talk about her brother now. "Your stripe is cool. How'd you do that? And what are those?" she asked, pointing to the earrings and bracelets.

"What are those?" she asked back in disbelief, though she still sounded friendly. "Latest style! Well, the best style. You're new at the Gypsies, are you? Usually everyone haves at least one piercing..."

"Sorry. I kinda just got here. But that looks like it hurts.." Tinsel meowed skeptically. She wasn't sure she wanted something stuck through her ears.

"It's nothing!" Rar giggled. "It doesn't hurt at all. It's just a little pressure. I want one at my eyebrow, but Mom says it could affect my system if I get too much. She has more than me, so she shouldn't talk," she mewed. Did it ever felt good to be talking a cat her age! "Maybe you should try," she said, not asking. "A red earring would go well on you. Gold and silver bracelets would be pretty..." she meowed, her head tilted as she thought of good accessory matches. "My dad is a Dog, so he could pay easily. He should be coming back soon."

Tinsel couldn't make sense of all that Rar was trying to tell her, but she didn't mind. She was just glad that she wasn't alone anymore. "Your mom? Is that her over there?" The yellow she-kit asked, nodding the bigger queen behind Rar.

Rar looked over at Killa. "Uh-huh. And those are my newest half-sisters," she mewed. She quickly loss interest. "C'mon! I'm gonna bring you to that place! Like that you could get your ears pierced." She got up from her sitting position, ready to go...

Tinsel paused, hesitant, but nodded all the same. It couldn't be worse than anything that's happened to her so far. She stood, ready to follow Rar.

The exotic she-kit grinned, and padded off into the crowd, making sure Tinsel doesn't get caught up again.
((New post. I'll make it.))
