Name: Tinsel
Gender: She-cat

General Appearance: Small, Sharp-eyed

Eye Color: Amber/Yellow-ish

History: Tinsel never knew either of her parents names. Mother told her that their father never even knew they exhisted. But that was ok. Tinsel didn't mind. She had Mother and Tommy and a warm nest to go back to every night after playing. Mother never let them out after night. She had told Tinsel and Tommy of vicious, scary cats that would want to hurt cats like them, cats that didn't beleive in war or violence. Tinsel never worried about those cats though. Mother was their to keep them safe. Until...it happened. They had made their home in an old abandoned barn in a field surronded by forest. And one day..they came. Tinsel had never seen creatures like them before. They were huge, with hard, gray pelts, huge paws, and sharp, vicious teeth. They definately were not cats. But they could smell good like cats. They found that out when they caught Tommy's scent when the wind picked up. They made loud, gruff sounds as they shouted to each other and at Tinsel, Mother, and Tommy. Mother hurriedly made them climb the rickety ladder that lead to the loft. The creatures followed them, though, entered their barn in a group and trying to climb the ladder. Tinsel felt Tommy trembling next to her as the huddled on the far end of the loft. Mother was wide-eyed as she paced, trying to think of a way to save her kits. Tinsel had peeked over the edge of the loft. The creatures tried to jump the ladder and climb, but only managed to fall to the earth making yelps of pain. Mother had grabbed her then and carried her to an open window, dangling her over it. "I'm sorry, Tinsel. But you have to get away." she said, and then Tinsel's world spinned as she plummeted to earth. She was able to clear her head once she hit rotten hay bails, followed by her brother. Tinsel was only able to get one last glimpse of Mother looking down o nthem from the window before Tommy shoved her away. And they ran. They ran hard, but it wasn't long before they heard the creatures crashing through the woods behind them. Suddenly, one was upon them. It was smaller than the others and was very excited by the prospect of catching the two kits. Tinsel was able to wiggled out from other it as Tommy darted up a tree. "Run Tinsel!" he had shouted to her. "Run!" So Tinsel ran, She ran for as long as she could, but finally couldn't make it anymore. She collapsed. The next day she regained some strength and traveled on, slower this time, until she came to a huge play filled with many cats of shapes, sizes, and colors. And that's where she remains.
