Silverleaf limped into the fern tunnel "what a great day for me to be bitten by an adder"she mumbled"Tarpenleaf are you here?"she yowled into the tunnel and then waited.

FeatherPaw, who happened to have been passing by at about the time that SilverLeaf yowled for TarpenLeaf, looked in curiously, her bright blue eyes shining slightly in the sunlight... "What's wrong with you?" She asked looking SilverLeaf over for a second....

FeatherPaw's eyes widened slightly with concern and slight alarm. She thought a moment and then shook her head quickly "No, I haven't seen him, but errr I'll go find him or StarPaw, adder's are serious" She offered already turning back out of the den to find the two medicine cats

TarpenLeaf came padding in, carrying comfrey and catmint in his jaws. He noticed SilverLeaf and FeatherPaw and trotted faster, setting the herbs down by his den and turning, looking at both, not knowing which was hurt. By the way SilverLeaf's face was, he guessed it was her. "Is there something wrong?" He asked.

"I found him!" FeatherPaw meowed loudly in a funny sarcastic way "SilverLeaf got bitten by an adder" She then added going serious again with a slightly worried look.... "I was coming to find you, but you seem to have perfect timing" She then commented softly sitting down to watch curiously

"Adder? Yikes, hold on." TarpenLeaf meowed, turning and trotting quickly to his den. He soon came back out with small Ash Tree Seeds and set them down in front of SilverLeaf. There was only two of them. "Eat those." He commanded and turned around, padding back into his den and out with Ash Tree. "This will prevent poison." He chewed them into a pulp and quickly spit them onto SilverLeaf's wound. "There you go, any other problems?"

TarpenLeaf nodded, picking up the comfrey and catmint and disappeared into his den, putting them in their correct piles. He trotted back out, facing FeatherPaw. "Is there anything wrong with you?" He asked her, though he guessed by the way she could hold herself nothing was wrong. It seemed like a question he needed to ask.

FeatherPaw shook her head quickly "Well, seems like you ain't going to die, so I'm going to go now... see ya' later SilverLeaf... and TarpenLeaf" FeatherPaw called over her shoulder as she padded out of the den ... How she hated going through the entrance of this den... it was always so... so brambly and it always got her long calico pelt stuck.... Luckily this time though she made it through without much of a problem...

"Hey FeatherPaw!" Came a voice, as a gray tabby bounded to his sister FeatherPaw. "Where ya been?" Stormpaw asked her, eyes dancing. He was always so hyper as an apprentice.

FeatherPaw turned her blue eyes to look over her brother curiously... "eh... nothing really... I was passing by when I heard SilverLeaf call for TarpenLeaf so I asked what had happened... I think the question is where have you been all day? Training?" She answered and then asked as StormPaw had been gone this morning when she'd woken up soooo.... that pretty much leaves training, helping elders, or going off on his own....

StormPaw nodded and shook out his pelt "Yeah, major tiring battle training." He meowed, flexing his shoulders. "I think I'm gonna be sore." He added, looking at his sister. "Eh, whatever." He grinned. "So..."

FeatherPaw couldn't help but laugh softly at her brother "Did VioletStar impress you with her fighting skills?" She asked in a teasing voice before shrugging "I don't know, but I'm starving" She added taking a run toward the fresh-kill pile where she picked out a nice big juicy mouse

StormPaw grinned and nodded with another shrug. "It's pretty awesome though. To be mentored by the leader." He bounded after her. "Me too." He stopped by the pile and inspected it before rolling out a plump vole.

"True" FeatherPaw conceded the point with a nod before she took a large bite out of her mouse. A wide grin spread across her face "I bet I could beat you in a fight bro... FlameHeart is bound to be a better fighter than VioletStar and has better moves since he's been fighting since he was a kit... and then he passed them to me" She challenged her brother good-naturedly
