Leaf continued to stare at Xena, much to her control. She was afraid she would see madness and lust for death, especially if he wished to kill her. She wouldn't be surprised if it happened. She held Xena's gaze with a shrug. "Except that Vixen admires Death, and Death knows that from her father... Death wanted to even meet her." She sighed, pinning her ears to her head with a sigh.

Xena snorted, "Yes but only to an extent... You think Death really cares for that stupid tom.. not she was only in it to make her family stronger... She cares more about family than the family of some stupid tom that fell for her charms" She let out a laugh completely confident in herself. "Vixen wouldn't dare set a paw on anyone that will make the great almighty Death mad at her" She finished dramatically

Sam just sat there his blood stained paws covered by his white tail, his mood was not silent and he felt no emotion at all as he sat there just listening to the wind rustle the long grass that surrounded him. His ears twitched slighly as he listened for any danger or cats to kill....

Finally Leaf looked at him and backed away further from him and slightly closer to Xena, but more to the side. "Sam?" She meowed quietly, not sure who he was. Would he kill her? Leave her forever? She was so confused.

Sam flicked his big white head to look at her his eyes dull but still happy to here her voice; happy she was ok. "Yes?" He meowed his voice quite as he looked at her his tail flicking slowly as he turned to look away from her and Xena.

Leaf blinked sadly and looked at her paws, muttering something under her breath but saying nothing. She sighed deeply, not saying a word as she looked at Xena.

Sam flicked his blue eyes over to her to see her sadness, he knew he was upseting her with the whole killing spree all of a sudden but he was an assasssin. Still he felt rather bad and he hoped it did not show to the other cats as assassins were not known to regret what they did.

"I think I'm gonna go home." She meowed, barely audible as she padded away silently, trying to keep her tail from dragging on the ground. Finally, when she was out of sight she looked back with sadness and her tail drooped to the ground. She shook her head. "Knew it was much too good to be true. Maybe this," She glanced at her neck where the cut would be, but of course she couldn't see it. "Can help me..." She trailed off, talking to herself. She flicked her ear sadly, gazing across the land alert for any rogues before finally she reached the lake shore. She leaped out, swimming to a rock just off the shore where water was deep and scrabbled up, sitting down without bothering to shake out her fur.

Sam sighed got to his feet and looked at Xena a bleak smile on his face as he waved his white tail good bye and ran off in the direction of where Leaf was going, his smile was cross as he came up to her almost... fake in a way but his blue eyes looked at her with a little bit of concern about what she thought....

Xena looked somewhat confused "I guess she wants to die then... She didn't seem to be too keen on staying alive" She muttered to Sam giving a slight shrug... after all it was her life she was putting at stake... not Xena's sooo for all Xena cared about was her own and her brother... perhpas her half-sister... With that the sad young she-cat watched Sam run off before turning her tail drooping the opposite way that they had disappeared

(Xena couldn't hear her unless she can hear like 5 miles out... Leaf said that in Loner territory...)
Leaf jumped in surprise when she saw the white pelt, nearly slipping off the slippery rock in the deep water of the lake. "What? You here to eliminate me from your life too? Cause you don't look like you'd care right now." She meowed, having to unsheathe her claws to keep her balance on the rock and not slip underwater. She could see he felt no emotion right now.

(She didn't hear her say anything... she just saw her leave and then Sam leave after her.... Xena was talking about Leaf not showing any enthusiasm to the plan that she had put out to save Leaf's life...)

Sam was a little taken aback by what she had said; he'd never be able to kill her. He chuckled slightly even though it was a chuckle of worry and concern as he jumped from rock to rock behind Leaf. "I care.." Sam meowed shortly his face blank as he followed her from each rock.

(Oh lol mmmk well Leaf'll come back later to talk to Xena about it... or at least that was my plan... she could barely take watching Sam like that...)
Leaf narrowed her green eyes. "So then, if I'm not next then who is. Bailey? Steel? Holly? Hmmm? Who?" She demanded angirly, trying to keep her temper down. Because she knew when something like this happened between her and another cat, she could barely ever go back to fix it. It became part of her past, like a little puzzle peice.

Sam sighed saddly he opened his mouth to speak but clamped it back shut again, he looked at the horizen keeping his eyes away from hers scared of what hers might hold and what his might betray. He looked down at the stones concintrating on where to put his paws on the slippery surface.

"Don't let this control you, Sam." Leaf finally said, eyes shining with sadness and concern. "Or you will turn out just like those slefish assasins who will kill anybody and everybody, even if they did love them once." She meowed, thinking about Death, VampireBat, and soon Vixen. "And you will be just like Vixen. You may say you'll never hurt me, or you're family, but before you know it you won't be able to stop yourself, and by the time you've realized what you've done it will be too late, and we'll all be gone."

"Ha yah right you humor me" Sam meowed his voice teasing as he jumped of there path onto a large silver rock, his tone might have been playful but his face was serious as he considered the possiblitties of that happening. He shrugged he knew he would not be as bad as Death or Vampirebat...

Leaf curled her lip back, bristling slightly. "You think you won't Sam, but look at yourself right now. Red paws? I thought they were white." She meowed defensivly. "Do you think they know what they're doing? Sure they say 'I'm the greatest assasin who has ever lived' but really when they're life is over, where do you think they'll be going? Hm?" She turned ehr back quickly and looked at her reflection before jumping on the next rock, further from Sam but only a few feet.

Sam snorted stubbornly, "Fine" he meowed his voice returning the to the same empty tone, he was not going to say much more on the subject as he dipped his red paws in the water and watched them turn white in the water. He jumped after Leaf with a fixed frown on his face.

Leaf rolled her eyes, dipping her paws into the water and ruining the reflection she saw. She wished not to see herself standing by a tom with such wild blood thirsty eyes. "Sam, who are you?" She asked suddenly.

Sam looked at her seeing her distaste in him, and suprised by her question, he looked at his reflection in the water seeing his eyes look so blood thirsy and mad, he looked away not wanting to admit how different he looked. "I'm not sure...." he mummbled and jumped ahead of her to the shore his white fur slumping on his shoulders.

Leaf watched him, eyes dark with sadness as she closed her eyes and took a breath, jumping out after him. "Well maybe we can change that?" She meowed quietly.

"Maybe" Sam meowed with a sigh as he walked towards her den, he kept his blue eyes away from her green eyes since he really did not want to get into another fight about this.... Sam looked back at her his eyes looking down at her paws instead of face.

Leaf watched helplessly as he wouldn't look at her face. Something was wrong, very wrong. Maybe he needed some alone time. She knew she did. "My den isn't very far from here... I can go the rest of the way." She meowed, padding quicker to come ahead of him, trying to act normal.

Sam nodded wordlessly his eyes looking up at her face for a split second before they flashed away down to his own paws, he turned his head and started to lope away like a bear almost. He was heading back to rogue territory his mind racing, should he kill? who should he kill? What would happen if Leaf found out? All the thoughts were racing through his head.
