"No" She meowed back determinedly turning her head away from her siblings that were getting ready to depart

"Ok then, you had your chance." Silentkit gave a yowl and the kits raced out of camp.

^{Gonekit began to follow Silentkit out of the camp, but his paws stopped him and he looked back. Why wouldn't Lostkit come? He let out a sigh, and turned, running back to the nursery, hoping that Silentkit wouldn't notice he had chickened out. He nudged Lostkit with his nose to the side slightly, and squeezed back into the nest.}

Once they were out of camp, they Silentkit looked around. Two brave followers. Where's Gonekit? He must have chickened out. she thought. "Alright guys, Gonekit chickened out, so we're just gonna have to bring back enough prey for those two wimps and the sleepy heads!" she mewed proudly.

LostKit bounded after his brothers. The dark gray kitten soon caught up with them. "Thanks for inviting me!" He meowed in his high kit voice. His blue eyes sparkled with adventure. He tasted the air. "Wow there are so many smells! I don't even know any of them. He looked around. There was tall pine trees and small stubby maple trees. There were so many trees that he couln't identify. "This is amazing!" He thought out loud.

IceFeather padded into the nursery. The silky furred white she cat had came to see SparrowEye's, who was the tom she had met in The Forest Of Love and really really liked, sister and the kits. "I came to see the kits," She said in her soprano voice. "But I guess they're playing." She mewed with a smile.

Silentkit looked up at Lostkit as he bounded up. "Well, it's about time you showed up!" she mewed.


Magpietail looked up, a startled look in her eyes. "What? Where did they go?" she mewed frantically.

Sparroweye padded over to IceFeather and pressed his muzzle into her fur. He looked at Magpietail. "I'm sure their fine. Their strong kits, and if I know them at all, Silentkit's leading them!" he purred.

[~Stormy~]

IceFeather purred, watching Sparroweye. She blinked and noticed where she was. Oops, kinda embarassing She thought and looked at MagpieTail. "I'm sure they're fine." She mewed. She inhaled the scents slowly. "I love the nursery smell." She meowed, smelling the milky smell. She looked the nests. "No too many queens." She meowed. She saw the orphan kits, GoldenTansy's litter. GoldenTansy had died giving birth, and their father lived in BogClan. IceFeather turned her light blue gaze back to MagpieTail.

^{Gonekit rolled over, and moved his paw so that it would comforably rest on Lostkit, but instead his paw hid the cold floor, and he woke up immediantly. He looked over at his mother, his eyes half closed with tiredness, "Are they back yet?" he mewed.}

"Well, I guess they're ok," she padded toward them. Then, something caught her eye. "They left poor little Hushedkit behind!" she laughed.

Sparroweye laughed. "I bet Silentkit was too impatient to wake her up," he mewed.

Silentkit wasn't surprised when Whitekit appeared behing Lostkit. "Well, now that almost everybody's here, let's get hunting!" she mewed. She dropped to a crouch and swiftly finished off a mouse. She brought it back to the others proudly. "Uncle SparrowEye taught me how to do that!" she mewed.

^{Gonekit sat up,. his tail wrapped around his feet, he gave a slight shudder then sighed, "I'm to tired!"}

Magpietail was startled. "They left Gonekit too! Lostkit and Gonekit go everywhere together!" she nudged Gonekit with a paw. "Gonekit! Lostkit left with the others! You'd better go catch up with them!" she laughed.

^{"But that's naughty!" Gonekit whined, alhough he had to admit, he felt rotten without Lostkit.}

Magpietail laughed. "Well, not if it's ok with me!" she purred. "Run along now. Go catch up and have some fun!" she purred. She nudged him foreward with a paw.

[~Stormy~]

The small gray kit had disappeared from the group. He stalked along the shadows of the nursery, belly rubbing the floor. He leapt out, paws extended, claws sheathed, and tackled his brother. "Ha! Got you!" He mewed. It was obvious the kit was fast if he could catch up with the group then come back in the time he did. It was also obvious he had a lot of stamina for running so much.

IceFeather purred, watching the kits. Her blue eyes twinkled. She had always wanted kits, since she was an apprentice. "They're adorable." She commented, watching the three still in the nursery.

"Thank you," Magpietail purred.

Sparroweye purred and pressed himself up against IceFeather's fur, breathing in her sweet scent.

"Wait, where did Lostkit go?" Silentkit mewed when she got back and he wasn't there. "Ugh!"

[~Stormy~]

LostKit laughed. "I bet SilenKit is freaking out!" He fello onto his back laughing. "What do you say we go sneak up on the group GoneKit?" He purred. "We can make sary sounds and then jump out and ambush!" He smiled happily and leapt, caging in a peice of green nursery moss bedding, pretending it was SilentKit. "You keep the group back, and I'll get to SilentKit." He purred, lashing his tail.

IceFeather smiled watching the two kits, then smiled to SparrowEye. She so hoped that if or when she had kits, he was the father.

Magpietail laughed. "Don't scare them too bad!" she mewed.

"Yeah, if I know Silentkit at all, she just might rip you to shreds!" Sparroweye purred. He wished he had kits of his own. THen his thoughts trailed over to IceFeather.

Silentkit groaned. "Their probably plotting some evil scheme!" she pretended to be on a real patrol. "Let's keep an eye, an ear, and a nose out for them!" she mewed.

[~Stormy~]

LostKit was the ultimate stalker, which would make him a good hunter. "We'll have to find out!" He purred. "We'll have to be EXTRA quiet, stay conealed, and stay downwind so they can't smell us." He bounced around. "But I have the element of surprise, they won't know when we'll come out." he purred. "And we won't mom.." LostKit wanted for GhostKit to say something, tensed and planning.

Magpietail laughed again. "Have fun!" she mewed.

Silentkit was sly. "Ok, we're gonna need to get our scent hidden, so lets go find a stream! I'll bring up the rear," she mewed and the kits set off.

[~Stormy~]

LostKit looked at GhostKit. "Okay, you stay here while I go track them down and observe, you look tired, get some rest first." He then bounded out, running as fast as lightning, staying downwind, following the scent on the ground. He rolled in mud so he was hard to find and he was unsmelled. He found the patrol of kits and crouched down into the bushes. He watched them, staying hidden.

"I have a bad feeling about something," she mewed to herself. "Run guys, run!" she mewed in a loud whisper. She whipped around and pounced into the bushes.

[~Stormy~]

But LostKit was already out of the bushes and in tall grass. He leapt out and tackled his sister into the shallow water of the stream. "Surrender Rogue!" He hissed, trying to stall for GoneKit.

"Never!" she hissed back. She jumped at a weird angle and flipped Lostkit off and into the bushes. She whipped around to face him again.

LostKit leapt clean over her, then turned and landed facing her. He leapt and slide along the ground right into her paws, knocking her over. He rolled to his back and pushed up into her belly, flipping her away. "That is what you get from the CAE!"

"Hey, rouges can fight too!" she hissed. She ran up to him and bowled him over. She took her claws and ripped them down his belly. She turned and hightailed it towards the others. "Run!" she mewed as she caught up to them.
