[EmberGlow]

DewKit was looking outside the Nursery with an absent look. Who was she? Why did SummerBreeze bring her here?
She looked behind her, where the sun brightened a little patch of the Nursery. Kits and queens were here and there. She got along with everyone, but didn't really had the chance to make friends.
She sighed. Today was her 'birthday', in a way. She just turned 6 moons old.
Suddenly, someone leaped on her in a playful way.

((Anyone?))

(Ahhhh that means I have to do ceremonies..... darn....)

ScorchKit bowled DewKit to the ground with a playfull laugh. The young tom was also 6 moons old. "What cha' doin'?" He asked the smaller she-cat enthusiastically as he jumped back off flipping , and rolling back onto his paws.

DewKit spat dirt out of her mouth. She glowered playfully at ScorchKit. "Nothing. But you better watch your back from now on." Her whiskers twitched with amusement as she fought a smile.
She got up, too, and sat down, tilting her head slightly in anticipation to the tom's answer.

"Watch my back? I don't see anything...." ScorchKit meowed running practically in circles trying to get a good look at himself, but having no success. He plpped to the ground panting slightly "Soooo.... how're you?" He asked between short pants.

She sighed. Toms weren't very smart, eh?
"Fine. Though it gets bored around here, don't you think?" she asked, looking out the entrance again.

[$~Swifty~$]

"Yes! We should go do something... outside the nursery... in the sun and the wind, and water.... Lets go!" He meowed quickly getting to his paws and dashing outside, before skidding to halt as if remembering he didn't ask if thats what she wanted to do..."Er.... want to come?" He asked trying to cover his mistake.

"Of course," she giggled. DewKit bounded after him, her eyes bright. "Let's find some mud and have a mud fight!"

"Mud Fight! Mud Fight is fun!" He exclaimed running toward the nearest mud hole and scooping up a big wad of it in his paw and throwing it on DewKit.... and on hisself, turning his white pelt brown.

Her eyes widened in surprise as the mud hit her shoulder. She wasn't expecting the other kit to be so fast.
"You asked for it!" she squeaked as she jumped into the mud, forming a cannonball, and spraying mud all around her. Pretty much a whole wave went toward ScorchKit. She giggled as her own white and light gray pelt turned brown. "Do I look good as a brunette?"

ScorchKit who'd been laughing really hard when the wave of mud hit him began choking on the mud that flew into his mouth.... As he resurfaced he began laughing hsterically and choking at the same time. Once he caught his breath again he looked at DewKit and then himself.... "Ummmm... depends do I look good brown?" He asked.

"Hmm...." She looked at him expertly. "The mud makes you look more muscled because it's so thick... and you do look more handsome...."
She clicked her tongue. "But ya ain't fluffy no more!"

ScorchKit stuck his tongue out at her "Well, you're not fluffy either.... you don't look half bad brunette, maybe you should permanently dye it" He suggested with a chukle before hurling some more mud at her.

She rolled her eyes again, taking the mud full in the face. "We smell like the swamp," she giggled.
She jumped into the mud again, scooped a pawful, and tossed it towards ScorchKit's muzzle. "Eat that!"

"Yuck! Mud is not the best tasting thing around...." ScorchKit muttered before launching himself at DewKit, knocking her over into the deeper partof the big mud puddle.

She faked being terrifed as she fell. "Oh, no! I'm sinking! I'm siiiiinnnkiiinng! Heeeelp!"
She rolled over, trying make ScorchKit fall.

ScorchKit did trip falling right on top of DewKit, mud flying everywhere upon the two cats. "Ow... that kinda hurt DewKit" He meowed laughing hysterically not even knowing that he'd landed on top of her until she didn't answer and looked down and noticed.... "Oh sorry Dewy" He meowed now laughing even more hysterically tahn before.

She got up unsteadily, a little dizzy from being knocked to the ground. "Wow. I think I saw the light at the end of the tunnel," she joked, joining in the laughter with her own giggles. She spat a couple of pieces of mud and grass stuck between her teeth. "I don't remember ever being so filthy in my life. How 'bout you?"
She looked up at him, beaming. At that moment, DewKit saw ScorchKit like the brother she always wanted.

"Hmmmmmm... well, I don't think I recall ever being this dirty either, but it's quite fun" ScorchKit meowed smiling and now only chuckling softly "Looks like some of the warriors are getting up.... lets throw mud at them" He meowed mischeviously as he crouched into the mud pile where he blended in before picking up a wad of the gooey substance and tossing it at a passerby warrior.

She giggled. "I think you missed!"
She scooped up some mud, and, without looking at which cat she threw it at, send it flying towards a small pale gray she-cat with pastel violet eyes...

"Oh darn!" ScorchKit muttered as he scooped up another wad and was about to throw it when he recognized the cat DewKit had hit.... "Uh Oh DewKit.... That was not good...." He muttered softly

VioletStar wiped the mud from her side slightly confused on who would throw mud at her, but as she looked she noticed the two kits hiding in the mud, and she nearly laughed, but was able to contain it. She walked over gracefully jumping over the mud splashes to stand next to the two kits... "Soooo... what do you two think you're doing?" she asked seriously though her eyes showed amusement.

"WEEE MUDFIGHT!!!!!" that was ScorchKit's brother.. FalconKit.. he dived into the mud and chucked mud at his brother and nursery mate.

"NOw don't get dirty!" he heard his mother's voice from the nursery.. he held silent before bursting into laughter.

Realizing that it was the leader she threw mud at, DewKit looked at ScorchKit with a panicked look and mouthed the words 'we're dead'.
"Um, hey VioletStar. We were playing and I must of missed ScorchKit big time," she lied. Her voice was way off. She was a very bad liar.

FalconKit looke dup at VioletStar. "Actually it was rather my fault, I hit her mudball and threw it TOTALLY off course with a mudball of my own..." he grinned.

ScorchKit shook his head slightly and mouthed "No... you're dead" chuckling softly

"Really? so you threw mud at ScorchKit who is over there and it ended up going in the opposite direction to hit me?" she asked fighting keep from laughing at the two kits.

"That's not true! FalconKit is innocent! And ScorchKit too!" DewKit squeaked at the two kits.
She then looked up at VioletStar. "Yes, that's exactly what happened. I'm a terrible thrower."
