BrightFlames had just found out that his second mate, GioldenTansy, had died. His breathing shortened as his eyes became distant. His first mate had disappeared, now his second mate is dead?! He turned quickly, running into the forest with quickness, avoiding any obstacle. Why was life so cruel?! Why did StarClan do this?! He stopped, panting. "Why, StarClan, why? What have I done wrong?" He shook his head. The ginger tom dug his claws into the earth, feeling betrayed, inraged, and completly depressed.

A small practically apprentice looking warrior padded up to BrightFlames. "BrightFlames? are you okay?" FairyDance asked resting her tail against his flank comfortingly.

BrightFlames sighed. "No, I'm not." He sighed in agony and frustration. "My life is a wreck because Starclan hates me for some stupid reason."

"Really? everyone? You still have your kits am I correct? your sister still lives? yes? Your brother SodPelt is even in this clan no?" she asked softly. "Starclan does not hate you, they simply needed to remove others, to ease their lives, or to move forwards the way of the world, and they couldn't do so without hurting you.... I'm very sorry for all your losses." she said softly.
