DawnPaw shook her head. She didn't even feel like explaining what had happened. Her eyes slowly changed to a lighter red, but didn't change to the normal soft orange. "Places..." She muttered trying to clam herself down... relatively anyways, but she was hurt which makes about any cat really skittish when they think they're being chased again. Her eyes kept looking behind Lethe and SunPaw to see if anyone was going to push through to her. "We've got to go get DappledPaw back" She did add in an urgent voice.

WilyWolf narrowed his eyes at the newly returned DawnPaw, and didn't answer MistedMorning's question, as it was now apparent why he started. He slowly started to the entrance. "Seein' as she was chased," He nodded back toward DawnPaw, "I'll do a few rounds 'bout the territory."

SludgeKit got to his paws as fast as lightning. Already, the kit was dashing after WilyWolf.
"Can I come? Can I come?" Then, without waiting for the answer: "Yay!"

DawnPaw struggled to her paws "I don't think we should go yet...." She whispered softly making sure no one else heard her. "It's not safe yet, and she'll be fine for a day or so...." She added, plus the fact that she could hardly get to her paws and stay balanced for more than two seconds.

DawnPaw shook her head stubbornly "No, that stuff Seth put on me is starting to help already. No need for overdosage of medical herbs" She mewed laying back down in the most comfortable position she could find in the light. Her calico fur was already almost dry, and looked mildly frizzy in the slight breeze, and she always kept one eye on the entrance to camp and another watching her friends....

"Hey-" WilyWolf shouted after SludgeKit, jumping to his paws and racing after the kit. He overtook him easily, but by that time they weren't that close to the Clan camp. "Ugh." he groaned. He didn't really feel like going out of his way to take the squirt back to camp. Finally, WilyWolf growled. "Fine, but be quiet and watch where you step."

"No kidding?" WilyWolf mumbled, plodding on his way next to MistedMorning. He kept one ear pointed toward Sludgekit, but other than that ignored him. "So what to you think scared the fur off of DawnPaw?" he asked quietly to his mate, eye on the ground and nose straining to pick up any unfamilar scent.

"Eww, responsible and strong warriors!" SludgeKit tease back, sticking his tongue out at both cats.
"Look at me run free in the mud! Yaaaay!"
He rolled into the muddiest pool of mud, getting filthy and sticky. Just to annoy WilyWold and MistedMorning, he shook his slimy pelt like a dog, sending the mud everywhere. "Aaah, much better! Don't ya think?"

SunPaw nodded. "Really? That's good to know. Then you should at least eat something and rest ..." he replied...
Lethe rolled her eyes. How annoyingly mother-like her brother can be! But she could see that he cared a lot like DawnPaw, that he was falling for her... A smile was playing on her lips, and she looked away.

"Whats it look like I'm doing stupid furball?" DawnPaw muttered half-sarcastically and half-teasingly. "Whats been up over here while we've been gone?" She asked curiously her light red eyes still flicking toward the entrance regularly..... how very paranoid she was now.

"Hmmm.. probably swamp gas spooked looking ghost like... then she fled and ran into another territory and patrol.. no doubt." she said offhandedly. She groaned as the kit splattered mud all over her, then grinned mischievously, flinging a ball of mud at WilyWolf.

As mud splattered onto WilyWolf, he threw a snarl out to the kit. But MistedMorning had flung the mud toward him before he had a chance to leap at SludgeKit. The warrior turned a smaile and his attention onto MistedMorning, and then kicked up a whole pile of mud at his mate.
((Who are SludgeKit's parents again?))

SludgeKit's whiskers twitched with amusement at the grown cats' kit-like reaction.
"The Shadowed Doom, obviously," he answered, ignoring the fact that no one asked him.
Lethe frowned. "I see VampireBat is very alive in you, DawnPaw. Relax, please. You eyes are freakier than mine."
SunPaw looked Lethe questioningly. He didn't know much about VampireBat. Never was interested in the whole assassin killing stuffs...

"Why don't you try and relax a few minutes after being taken and then escaping and then almost drowning, and then chased some more, and then hurt, and THEN I had to leave my sister with those stupid good-for-nothing excuses for rogues. It just don't work like that... takes time" DawnPaw retorted. She was super stressed wondering what was happening to her sister.... probably even being punished DawnPaw's escape no doubt. She shook her head, not wanting to think about that right now.

"Chill, Dawn," she replied sharply, her eyes a little more fiery. "The Shadowed Doom. Is that what you just came back from? Well, I have news for you. During your absence, AbyssClan took BogClan in as our 'spiritual clan' or whatever. In other words, our clan is going to be part of the Shadowed Doom thing. So you honestly don't have a choice, and was going to join it sooner or later."
SunPaw looked down. It was true.

DawnPaw frowned immediately and went absolutely rigid where she lay her mind spinning in circles now.... "They... they can't do that.... I can't do that. No... I promised mom, my sister... " She whimpered still not moving a muscle her eyes now lost all glow of red and turned blue, but no one would notice the dramatic change, her eyes were closed, she refused to look into this nightmare.

"It's alright..." he whispered. "You don't have to if you dont' want to."
His sister was already gone, so she couldn't of heard that.

DawnPaw opened her eyes again and looked up at SunPaw "I can't do that... even if I wanted to I couldn't... I totally defied them when I escaped... they'd kill me now if I went back.. and that ain't on my list of things to do right now. Besides I see that as giving into my heritage, I don't want to do that either...." She whispered now looking up at SunPaw with a helpless expression on her face.

"Ah.. fine with me. but keep your voice down mousebrain" DawnPaw hissed smacking him over the head with her paw. She looked around to make sure no one had heard anything.
BlazePaw pricked his ears from where he was laying as he heard the muffled conversation. He got up and walked over to them and sat down. "I couldn't help, but overhear your conversation, but do you mind if I join you two? I'm not going to side with the Shadowed Doom, my parents would be quite disappointed, they were in the original CAE"
