It was sundown, very quiet in camp. A blueish silver Bengal she-cat slunk into camp. She would have been very beautiful and exotic if it weren't for the many scars that marred her pelt and her skin. She had determined but tired deep blue green eyes, like a lake first thing in the morning, or in high afternoon. The last leader she had known here, before her mother had taken her and her siblings away..... to... her memory stopped her there. Before her actual father's death anyway, was CopperStar. she made it to the Leader's den before cats noticed her a few of them gave hostile growls, a few blinked thinking they had seen that unique pelt before. "Copperstar?!" SoaringBird called with a desperation in her voice that was unmatched by any other sound. She stood proudly as a smell that was nothing like CopperStar's pervaded the air of the den...had Copperstar died? no wasn't possible.

A tan, lithe, beautiful head appeared from the den, her bright eyes clouded with questions and confusion. MinkStar rose from her den fully, to face SoaringBird better. "CopperStar passed away, awhile ago." she murmured. MinkStar's head was tilted quizzically, from not recongizing the she-cat.

"Oh... I.. didn't Know... umm.. THis was my home.. when I was a kit.. My mother waw FlickeringHeart, a warrior and Queen, and my father was SkyWatcher... a Lightscripter... they were both SpectrumClan members... they lived her even when it was BriarClan... My siblings and I were born here... and then my mom disappeared 27 moons ago... and I-I came home.. My dad died when I was two moons old.. he told me to come home... I came home." she said the last three words adamantly a few times.
MarbleFlower came whizzing out of her den at that point up to where MinkStar was not even seeing SoaringBird "Minkstar.. MinkSTar.. a cat is coming.. a strange scared... oh she is here already.. oh umm... Yeah... Uh.... I can help explain this!" MarbleFlower looked mildly distressed and scared, an odd look for the solid gray she-cat.

MinkStar suppressed at chuckle at the slightly flustered MarbleFlower. "Please enlighten me then." she meowed. The SpectrumClan leader regarded the former-SpectrumCanner carefully, trying to judge her character and faith in the Clan.

"Ok.. I was talking well yeah talking to Starclna.. a tom was very adamant at speaking to you, said something bout you weren't sleeping so they couldn't talk to you in dreams.... maybe you should see the medicine cat about that.. but anyway.... he was adamant that you needed to know about SoaringKit coming home... he showed me a picture of what s he looked like as a kit.. she was blue silver, tabby adorable really... and he said that he told her to come home, and she was coming home, they could see her again... and he showed me her now.. as you see her here... and yeah... she belongs here.... she was born here.. relaly she was!" MarbleFlower explained quickly. She could still here the tom in her head yelling loudly at her about his daughter, SoaringKit... this that.. and the other.. and where were the others? had none of them made it alive? he had hoped for more to live... but.. maybe she was hte only one that came home? "OH SHUT UP!!!" she finally screeched at the sky. "Oh sorry.. right.. I.. uh should go back to my painting.. bye!" she waved her tail and started off, slowly in case Minkstar spoke to her again.
SoaringBird blinked bewildered. "How does she know my mother? how does she speak to him? he walks with Starclan now!" she exclaimed.

MinkStar listened calmly through MarbleFlower's explanation, not flinching when she shouted angirily to the sky. She nodded, smiling slightly, then turned to SoaringBird. "MarbleFlower has a strong contection with StarClan. They speak to her, as well as my medicine cat and I."

"Who're you!" came a loud call from the apprentices' den as the dark calico pelt of AmberPaw bounced into view. She was smiling hugely as she bounded up to get a good look at the new cat, her amber eyes twinkling with mischief and friendliness.
IronyPaw stood silently at the entrance of the den along with FallingPaw, both watching the new cat with curious gazes, but neither having AmberPaw's curiosity or enthusiasm to go up and ask

SoaringBird glanced around "I think I know where Everything is, thank you Minkstar." SoaringBird said the apprentices surprised her. "I'm... SoaringBird.. a new.. warrior?'s he glanced at her new leader with a questioning glance.

In the apprentice's den a set of blood red eyes flashed open, then vanished again, ForgottenPaw wasn't back, it had been two weeks since BloodPaw had left her den.... apparently one of her siblings had convinced her to eat something... though if you could get a good look at her it was obviously not a lot.. she had left once a day to use the dirt area.. and that was it. Each time she was seen she was thinner, and less healthy looking, if her eyes weren't red to start with, they probably would have been bloodshot. Her fur hadn't been well groomed in a while, though somebody had clearly tried.
SoaringBird blinked "Those red eyes.. in the.. apprentice's den.. whose are they?" she asked softly stepping away from the leader's den towards the hyper apprentice....

MinkStar followed SoaringBird's gaze and sighed. "That's my apprentice..BloodPaw. She hasn't been the same since ForgottenPaw was taken..."

SoaringBird blinked "SHe has very.... eerie eyes. are they always like that?" she asked softly her head tilted ot the side in curiousity. SHe had never seen a cat like that outside of the rogues, her daughter Purity looked like that, but her daughter was a rogue... SoaringBird's mind wrenched back from teh memories.

"The red? We have a few other apprentice's around here with red eyes, too." MinkStar offered the befuddled warrior. "Like me." A ghostly voice sounded from behind the two. DespairPaw's pulsing red eyes scanned over SoaringBird, before speaking once more. "My father's name was VampireBat. These are his eyes." The spitting image of his father, DespairPaw took after his more than his mother. But even if he tried, he could never be that bad. Or could he? It was a subject unexplored. "Thank you, DespairPaw." Minkstar's voice seemed brittle.

"IronyPaw does to" AmberPaw put in quickly her amber gaze switching over to where the young mute cat was laying beside FallingPaw. "She's DespairPaw's sister" she added.

SoaringBird nodded "Strange...." SoaringBird said softly "One of my daughters has eyes like that.. I've never seen it outside of rogues, not the local rogues either.. I mean the ones past the falling mountains.." that was what her stepfather had called them, mountains of rubble, that were slowly falling into a tumbling rocky plain.
