Out for a stretch (WolfHunt)

A thick pelted brown warrior slunk through the undergrowth after a rabbit. She was still wrapping her mind around the thought that she was deputy, what would have possibly possessed VioletStar? back on topic... she scolded herself launching and missing the rabbit. "Foxdung!" she spat. Then spun with a jump realizing she was ont eh border and there was rustling in the bushes nearby, another cat, definitly... her nose told her it was natureclan, she took a step away from teh border blinking her golden eyes. "I know your there.. come out!" she called softly. JaggedStrike didn't like to be surprised, but wouldn't mind the company.

WolfHunt fell out of the bush. "Hi there can you help? My fur is tangled in the branches." He mewed

"Oh.. of course." Jaggedstrike giggled lightly bouncing over and looking at the stuck parts of the fur. she sat down and using both paws began to separate fur from branch carefully and slowly. "How'd you get so tangled WolfHunt?" JaggedStrike asked as she worked, the usually impatient she-cat was taking time to keep from hurting her clan mate... it was surprising.

"I was chasing a mouse and it ran in here." He meowed looking embarresed.

"Ehh.. thats ok, I missed a rabbit already today, twice!" she said with laughter in her sweet alto voice. "There ya go." she said as she freed the last of his fur. "Wanna help me fail at hunting?" she asked him jokingly

" Thanks, wow a great hunter like you missed two rabbits! Sure i'll go hunting with you." He said getting up

"I'm not that fantastic, and I wasn't staying focused, that's why I missed..." she said a little ashamed of herself, gosh was she a scatter brain.... always! "So how have you been? other than getting stuck in a bush?" she asked standing up and starting to walk farther into the territory.

[wolfpaw]

"Oh well what's on your mind? I've been good, how about you?"He started to follow her.

"VioletStar's decision to make me deputy, I mean, what if I fail the clan, if I'm not good enough?" She asked worry entering her eyes as she looked at the tom following her.

[wolfpaw]

"If VioletStar made you deputy that means she has faith in you." He said trying to comfort her.

[~*Demon*~]

"Yeah, but what if she placed her faith wrong, I know nothing about leading a clan! I barely manage to lead myself!!" she said before pausing and jumping at the base of a tree, she came up with a vole dangling limply from her jaws, it had been killed in one bite, finally, she had caught something!!

"I think you'll make a great leader. I beleive in you." WolfHunt spotted a thrust and killed with a bite. "Yeah i got it!"

"Good job, you'll fulfill your name yet!" she said laughing "Thanks Wolfhunt" she purred smiling at him. Her gold eyes sparkled in the light filtering through the canopy above.

"Wow you have beautifull eyes." He said looking at her

If she didn't have such thick brown fur her blush would have been obvious... she looked at her feet which were shuffling nervously. "Thanks....." she murmured softly

" Your welcome." WolfHunt mewed alittle embaresed.

"Your a good hunter, I'd of missed that thrush if I had tried for it." she said breaking the awkward silence even more awkwardly. looking up again... her voice had risen a little bit and rang softly.

"Thanks.So do you have a mate?" WolfHunt asked her looking into her eyes.

[~*Demon*~]

"Oh... ummm.. no.. I never actually... went looking really... I worked so hard to be a warrior... it never actually... occurred to em." she said blinking straightening up a little. "You?" she asked softly.

[wolfpaw]

"Nope i'm single." He said looking down at his paws.

[~*Demon*~]

"Nice, haven't found that she-cat that you would do anything for?" she asked... thinking about her parents... she hadn't seen her mother in a while.. her dad she had seen the day before...... thats how he described love............... mre random thoughts.. FOCUS JAGGEDSTRIKE!!!!! she scolded herself mentally

"No, and you haven't found the tom to love you?" He said looking at her.

"Naaah... most of the toms are either taken.... or too full of themselves, or too this or too that.... toms are hard to find.." she joked trying to act like one of the more snotty members of the clan... and failing.. cuz in picking herself to walk like they do she tripped and fell on her face laughing. "Nah, like I said I never actually went looking."

"Are you ok? and i'm not like that."WolfHunt rushed over to help her up.

JaggedStrike was laughing to hard to pick answer.... she finally m,anaged a "Yeah...hahahaheheheheha I.. hahahahahaha know..." she was laughing way too hard she stood up and rolled over on her back laughing. "Starclan.." she said settling down to a steady giggle "I've always wondered what toms see in those she-cats that act like that though..."
