GoldenTansy limped into the nursery, several cuts around her body, but also a horrible stomach ache. She'd just gotten back from the Forest of Love where she'd met once again the cat that had practically ruined her life forever, Jay. She'd killed him.... she wasn't gonna let that happen to any other she-cat that Jay was seeing, and... well to be plain she wanted revenge on him. Now she had it and was content... so she thought as she plopped down into her mossy nest. It was way late... nobody in the camp was even awake except for the patrol that had just left. She winced again as shefelt another spasm of pain. ONly then did she become aware that maybe it wasn't just a stomach ache.... maybe it was the kits.... but they were too early.... a couple moons early...
ABOUT AN HOUR LATER:
GoldenTansy lay in her nest still panting heavily with four healthy kits at her side.... despite the fact that they were early they all seemed to be fine Thank StarClan.... but GoldenTansy was not. Her breathing became shallower each time until it barely moved anymore... but she was still concious. She knew she was dieing, but she was content even happy... Her breathing stopped altogether, but she died with a smile on her face... perfectly happy for once in her life.
The four kits, a calico one, a gray one, a brown tabby and a ginger tabby were left in the nursery beside the body of their dead mother.... by now the sun was starting to come up... someone would come in soon especially with the crying kits..... As if on cue pawsteps could be heard......... (Anyone)

"GoldenTansy.. are you/... oh My.." ForgivingAggel padded up to her nieces and nephews and started to lick them soothingly. "GoldenTansy, wake up and pay attention to your kits!!" FernSight lifted her head, four moons back she had come back from teh forest of love with YarrowRoot and kits.... Yarrow said he was the father, and everyone believed them.... "Hmm?" she asked softly. "Oh.. GoldenTansy had her kits early!" she said opening her eyes the rest of the way... her kits started to stir....
"Umm... ForgivingAngel.. get TarpenLeaf...... now." She told her niece, who was older than she.
ForgivingAngel stepped out of the Nursery, and FernSight gathered the four kits to her gently.
"TarpenLeaf! we need you in the nursery!!!!" FOrgivingAngel called, not thinking that her sister would never wake up.

TarpenLeaf bounded out. "What is it? What's wrong?" He meowed, needing to know what herbs to get.
One was strangely familiar to the cats around, but no one would be able to put their paw on it. In GoldenTansy's litter was the newly reincarnated StormCloud, now StormKit. But no one would know for a very very long time.

"GoldenTansy had kits, and she doesn't look alright..." ForgivingAngel furrowed her brow.
FernSight gathered the kits to her gently laying back so they like her own kits could suckle.

Starpaw was waken by all the commotion that was happening around, she yawned still feeling sleepy. She got to her feet and walked not so happily out the apprentice den, she knew she had been disrespectful to her mentor at the gathering and she was worried about seeing him again. Though she braved the consequences and walked up to Tarpenleaf.
“What’s going on?” Starpaw meowed quietly looking at her feet avoiding his face.

TarpenLeaf spoke swiftly, without looking at Starpaw, still deciding her punishment. "GoldenTansy had birth problems." He bounded into the den. He looked at GoldenTansy. "Shes... in the paws of StarClan now..." He dipped his head mourningfully.

Starpaw followed her mentor into the nursery, glad he did not mention her punishment! When she saw Goldentansy lieing still in the paws of Starclan her tail droped and her eyes go dull. This was the first death she could remember as a medcine cat apprentice.

StormKit looked at StarPaw with confused and mournful eyes. His other parents from his past life had died as well.
TarpenLeaf blinked at the knowledge in the gray kit's eyes, and padded over to GoldenTansy.

Starpaw looked down at the kit, her heart melted. She had a soft spot for kits and knew she was never to have a litter of her own... she rasped a warm tongue over the kits head as she tried to soothe the kit. She tried to hide the sadness in her eyes...

StormKit mewled. He felt a strange sensation of deja vu from StarPaws tongue and the death of GoldenTansy.

Starpaw stared down at the kit, somthing was strange about Stormkit but she could not put her paw on it..... Starpaw looked back at Tarpenleaf trying to keep the sadness out of her eyes... she'd never have kits  |

Sarpaw walked out of the nursery quickly avoiding her mentor still. She yawned and walked back into the warriors den.
