NightStar lept to the top of the cliff. He held his head high and looked around.
Soon enough the clan was gathered around and clearly and calmly he spoke.
"Our clan has been in need of a deputy for quite some time. So I have now decided our deputy.
By the power of Starclan I name SunClaw, our new deputy."

ElvenGrace smiled and cheered the new deputies name. "SUnclaw sun calw sunclaw!" the Warrior was still mateless.

CloudNight cheered the new Deputie's name vaguely, he wanted to return to his fire.....

DestinyWinds frowned lightly, she wasn't sure SunClaw would make a good deputy.. she didn't see him around much at all... she didn't think he was very responsible. But she cheered his name anyway.

ImmortalBattle cheered somewhat....

MudPaw frowned at the unease of his mentor, and half-heartedly cheered SunClaw's name, his eyes on DestinyWinds the whole time.

RiddlePaw cheered as well. Ever since his accident with a few dogs, he had been..different, surprisingly. He talked more and seemed less reserved.

DestinyWinds was really worried about RiddlePaw... outside her worry of the deputy choice....... she glanced at him wiht unease as he cheered... something was still way too wrong...

(Ok so ShadowKit, one of BurningHearts litter, never got his apprentice name but he's like... 13 or 14 moons old now so...)

ShadowPaw cheered SunClaw's name. He didn't know SunClaw very well so he just cheered boredly.

((Alright. I'm a little behind on the ceremonies and whatever. Sorry bout that. -_- And he'll be given his warrior name when I have the moment. And I'm pretty sure I got Misty to play SunClaw... but I may be mistaken.))

Nightstar could see many of the cats weren't in very good support of this. But he was sure this was the right path, the right cat who was to be chosen as deputy. But if the clan didn't approve of it, they would all have to come to him. If every cat thought Sunclaw was a bad choice he would go to the MoonPool and ask Starclan if they had another Deputy choice.

But for now he would simply announce the kits who would be apprentices, the apprentices who would be warriors now.
"I have another announcement. We have some kits who should be apprentices and apprentices who shall be warriors this day.

He smiled at this and hoped the cats would be happy with all of this, as he was quite late with this.

RiddleSoul smiled proudly, unaware of DestinyWinds eyes on him. He looked at his brother and smiled a smile that seemed very strange upon his face.
MudDog frowned as he looked at his brother, but RiddleSoul had already turned away.

SunClaw puffed out his chest in pride. Deputy! Only in his dreams had he been deputy of the Clan. Every other worry in his life seemed small and insignificant compared to this.

ShadowStorm smiled widely, puffing out his chest.He had wanted this day since he was a kit. BUt when he was a kit he always dreamed of hs mother in the equation. He tried not to think of that.
