Crush

DappledPaw sat in the same place her mother and father had met. She looked at the trees and the turning of the leaves. She gazed around the small clearing she was in. The trees were thin around it. She sighed as she could feel memories flooding around her. Of cats she didn't understand. This place always teemed with that sort of emotion. She could tell someone was approaching. She dare not turn, in case it was some evil rogue or something. She breathed in the scent. She decided to turn.

(Preferably from the fifth Clan but anyone is fine. This is just for a crush, not for mate stuff. Crush only, and then i'll see wat happens from there)

"What are you doing out here, DappledPaw? Shouldn't your mentor be training you at this time of the day?" a gentle voice asked.
SunPaw sat there, his bronze pelt lit up in a yellowish shade from the blazing mid-afternoon sun. His golden eyes seemed to be bright, as if he had a great day.

[~Stormy~]

DappledPaw surpressed a sigh of relief. She didn't have to worry about some weird rogue coming. "Hey SunPaw." She meowed. "No I got the day off. I didn't get to go to the gathering."

(Let's say this is the day after the gathering XD)

He nodded, the fact shadowing the joy in his eyes a little. "I'm sure EverStar will bring you next time. But it was probably for the best.... Most of the cats weren't really happy seeing us come in, just a couple apprentices bothered talking with us kindly in the beginning. And think about how much pain it would of been for you to see those glares from NatureClanners..." he meowed softly, his head lowering. It would be terrible being torn so much... He and his sister didn't need to face that pain, that was probably why the leader chose them.

DappledPaw looked at her paws. "That's true." She mumbled. She was just happy that SunPaw unerstood. "I bet the other Clan didn't look happy." She looked back up. "They probably think we all died or become loners and rogues." She smiled a bit at the thought of the surprised leaders faces.

[EmberGlow]

He snickered in amusement. "You should of seen NightStar's face!" The thought made SunPaw laugh.

[~Stormy~]

DappledPaw laughed in a voice sounding like bells. "I would have loved to seen that!" She meowed in her melodic voice The sun shone warmly on her back. "SO what else happened?" She meowed.

[EmberGlow]

He shrugged. "Nothing much. Just lots of questions and narrowed eyes. Anger. Some cats even felt sorry for us. It was quite boring. The leaders gave quick reports about prey and their cats, trying to empathize how powerful their clan is. I nearly fell asleep." He chuckled a little at the end.
"By the way, are you sure your mother is dead?" he suddenly asked, raising an eyebrow. He doesn't mean to hurt her, not at all, so he asked it in a suspicious yet casual way. Something he saw....

[~Stormy~]

DappledPaw looked at the sky. "That's what I always wonder." She looked back at him. "If she's dead...she just... disappeared. No one really knew I guess." She shrugged. DappledPaw always grieved more then the rest of her litter about what happened.

[EmberGlow]

"Interesting..." he muttered, seeming to be deep in thought. "She looks a lot like you."
He spoke in the present tense... how weird.

[~Stormy~]

DappledPaw blinked. "Why did you ask that anyway?" She asked in a confused voice, not being mean.

He felt unsure. Should he tell her? But what if he was wrong?
"There was this she-cat that was hiding on out way back from the gathering. She seemed familiar.... She was looking at us with plain curiosity, but also with a grieving look. As if she was looking for someone. She looked like you and DawnKit... The same shaped eyes, face, ears and slender features. She was small with pretty dark gray fur, and wide almost-black eyes. I think they were brown. She was beautiful, though, and looked quite young. Maybe in her late twenties..." SunPaw described.

((Guess, guess.... Guess with what I'm coming up with. xD ))

(uhh... all i know is she's not dead XD)

DappledPaw blinked. "Did you see her any other time then that?" She meowed. "Like after the gathering or something...?" DappledPaw's heart thudded. What did this mean?

((Muhaha.... I'm dying to spoil everything.))

"No, just that once. You really think it was her?"

[~Stormy~]

DappledPaw shrugged. "i dont know..." all this time she thought her mother was dead, but there was still some small glimmer of hope her mother was alive. She decided to tell none of her siblings about this, incase it wasn't really her."

[EmberGlow]

He nodded slowly, thiking...
"You know, we probably should do like a search errand or something. We might just get lucky."
But he knew the chances of fighting a cat that doesn't want to be found is nearly impossible.

[~Stormy~]

DappledPaw nodded. "We should! it'll be hard but still. i wonder if she'll recognize me." She meowed. thenhe thought of something. "But.. you don't have to go with me if you dont want, I can't put all of this on you."

[EmberGlow]

He snorted. "Jeez, DappledPaw. I need a little action! Maybe we should start close to where your Dad lives. Oh, is he still alive?"

[~Stormy~]

DappledPaw nodded. "Yeah, he's in the fifht Clan as well. My grandmother was born a rogue." She meowed, getting to her paws with a slight smile.

[EmberGlow]

"Nice."
He started padding through the trees, lookin over her shoulder to see if she was following or if this was all a trick or something.

[~Stormy~]

DappledPaw kept pace with him, following behind him. "But his old home was SpectrumClan so..."

DawnPaw jumped down from a tree in front of DappledPaw and SunPaw. "Nice of you to come and invite me along on it. You think I don't care if you have some clue about mom? You think you're the only one that misses her?" She snarled, so much like her mother.... never to show the pain masked under that hate. Her eyes seemed to be switching colors frantically between Red:anger, and Blue:sadness, though the red was slowly dominating her feelings.

DappledPaw leapt back in surprise and shook her head. "No! I-I" She stuttered for words. "I thought you'd get hurt!" She meowed. She searched for something else. "And... i thought you were training!"

SunPaw smiled, as if the atmosphere of harsh feelings didn't reach him. "Hey, DawnPaw. How 'bout joinin' our little errand? Two would of been less visible, but I guess one cat more won't do a huge different..." he finished his sentence with a mutter, as if analyzing their chances of getting caught. He frowned.

"Yeah Right DappledPaw! You're mind never once crossed about me getting hurt! Anyways if anyone got hurt it would be you! And you knew very well that I wasn't training!" DawnPaw hissed quite loudly, but calmed down after SunPaw spoke "You couldn't stop me if you wanted to" She muttered "And I'm not gonna hold anyone back. I'm better at tracking then DappledPaw... and stealthiness" She added almost silently her eyes starting to cool to an orangish yellow color
