History: Speed, then called Risk, was one of two cats in her litter. Being the runt, her brother,Vanish, was favored over she. After he ran away at 4 moons, her mother, Lee, abandoned her and Risk was left on her own. Cold and hungry, she found a large train car filled with dead mice and rats, and so she spent the night there. She woke up to find the train moving quickly across the land, away from her home. Confused and frightened, she leapt out of the open car, only to find herself being flung through the air at amazing velocity. She landed unhurt, but shaken. Risk was amazed by the speed of the train, and how much power it had. She loved speed. She loved it so much, she named herself after it. Soon after changing her name, she was reunited with her brother and his friend, Nalvin. Nalvin was much older than the kits, and became their teacher. He taught them how to survive as a loner. During training, Speed discovered that she was fast. Very fast. She could run faster than her brother and Nalvin, and she could catch up with almost any prey she was hunting. When Vanish and Speed turned 5 moons, Nalvin died. Although the young cats were alone, they now knew how to take care of themselves. But, the loss of his best friend weakened Vanish, and although Speed tried to cheer him, Vanish became very vulnerable to sickness. Speed woke up one morning to find her brother dead. She was totally alone. The pain from the deaths of Vanish and Nalvin made her strong, and she got over her losses by the time she turned 6 moons. Speed also found that she was very cold-hearted. She then decided to become an assassin, the only real rank she knew she could enjoy. Many moons passed before she found her way back to a cat inhabited place.
