In the darkness of midnight, the moon shone brightly, even through the leaves of the bush that was the warriors' den. MothPelt slept soundlessly at the closer to the edge. But suddenly the warmth she usually felt under her skin disappeared to be left with a chilly sensation. That pretty red queen left her dreams... to wander in the den... searching... still searching...
Until, finally, she saw him.
The spiritual form stalked toward RavenSight as if he was a prey, and disappeared right into him, swallowed by the blackness of his fur.
Soon, so soon, he will see the faded figure of his long lost mate in his dreams... EmberGlow.

Ravensight's orange eyes fluttered open. His vision was a bit blurred, so he got up and shook his head clear. Once his eyes focused he looked up to see Emberglow. His eyes widened, his fur pricked with unease. "If this is a trick..." He mumbled.
He shook his head again, but Emberglow was still there. Sitting. Right infront of him. Her scent was like a tidal wave, crashing over him. "Emberglow?" He meowed, taking a couple paces forward.

"Without the real flesh. Yep," EmberGlow purred, smiling warmly at RavenSight. "I often watched you threw MothPelt's eyes, even though she has a will of her own and I only catch glimpse. You've gone from misery to happiness, and I'm very proud about that." Her voice had the same weird melodic accent she always had, and she seemed so real... But stars were in her pelt, making the fur glow orange.

Ravensight purred happily, and they were only a single whisker apart. "I always thought I could sense you around." He meowed. His eyes shinned brightly, as bright as Emberglow's pelt. "HOw come this is the first time you've visited me in my dreams?" He suddenly asked. Curious. He was very Curious.

"It's hard to separate from my reincarnation. I don't even think I can call her that. Like I said, she has a will of her own, very powerful mind, and it feels like a prison in there," she explained, her golden eyes turning to violet. How bad did it felt to watch, hear, smell and feel without having any chance to give her own opinion. She was just an audience of one. "But I could swear upon StarClan that I would of visited you every second if I could've," EmberGlow added in a purr, amusement in her voice, as her eyes were back to normal. She brushed her whiskers against RavenSight's cheek. "But to tell you that is not the reason I'm here, sadly." Again, the violet came back.

Ravensight tilted his head. "Alright...Then why have you come to me?" He asked, his voice was a bit pained, but not as much as when Summerbreeze fortold the prophecy. A wave of uneasyness swept over him.
((Have you ever read the book Host by Melanie Snyder?))

She looked around, and the misted white scene changed, and suddenly they were in a cavern, almost pitch black, though EmberGlow glowed in it, making there be light. "Locked away, RavenSight, locked away."

"What?" He meowed, he wasn't sure he totally understood what she meant. "But locked here?" He looked around. This was one of the caverns... Rouge Cavern perhaps?

Then they were back in the misted place, and joy seemed to turn her violet eyes golden again. "Now about the good news! SummerBreeze and you..."

He paused, "Love...Love is a strong word, darling." His eyes searched his mate's face, "I care for her very much, but i don't know if it's really Love." He meowed... Of course he thought about him and her... loving eachother but he wasn't sure. He didn't want to give up his love for Emberglow.

She bit her lower lip and shook her head. "Hon, I belong in the past now, and the only future I will be in is your death, which will be in a very long time. That Alchemist loves you very much, RavenSight, and if you take the right path, moons and moons of happiness will await you," the red queen whispered, looking down at her paws. She didn't like the idea herself, but she wouldn't admit it.

"Please, RavenSight. I love you, too. But... my time is over. And she won't be taking my place, no one will. A cat knows how to love more than one, I know that for sure, and cat changes, no matter what," she whispered, not answering the question of what will happen when both SummerBreeze and RavenSight dies. Though a plan was forming in her head... She knew how to disappear forever, or at least for a very long time, and maybe that will allow RavenSight to see... A look of mischief, yet of great sadness, came into her now-violet eyes.

Ravensight's eyes narrowed, "No, I know what you're thinking and that will not work. You hear me? If you do that then...I'll do something even more drastic!" His tail lashed to one side.

"When you die there are two paths, Starclan and Abyssclan. Most Starclan cats don't even see the Abyssclan path, nor do they want to. When I die, I'll ignore Starclan's path and go to AbyssClan. That way I would enflict damage on either of you. And if you try and join me, I'll simply go into oblivian." Ravensight meowed, all playfullness gone from his voice. He was serious, if Emberglow thought she would just 'disepear' for a little while, then she was dead wrong. He'd follow through with his plan then.

Her eyes had widened with worry, and she was shaking her head. "Please, RavenSight, don't. Please, please, please... It's terrible there, I know. I almost went there myself. It's so terrible... You'll be hurting yourself..."
EmberGlow looked up at him, not knowing what to do. "No one will take my place," she repeated. "But you can, you are allowed to."
She peered at the sky, and even though it was always gray in the dream, she knew dawn was coming. They didn't have much time, and somehow she knew VioletLight will wake up her brother soon, as both were on the dawn patrol.

She seemed hesitant. "I promise," EmberGlow meowed finally. "But remember, unless I find away to get away from MothPelt, I will only join you when she dies... But if our minds become one, then I will join you as MothPelt, and not as EmberGlow," she explained, dead serious. Already she was starting to fade away, becoming translucent as the sweet scent of VioletLight was in the air...
