Candleflame glided gracefully in the Firefly Forest. Her pawsteps made no sounds, and she moved with pure grace. Her eyes were blood red, the same as her murderous fathers. She yawned, and in doing so, showing off her long, sharp vampire-like fangs.
Her ears flicked, "Total." She whispered as she stopped walking. Her eyes shinned with amusement. "Trying to sneak up on me, hmm?" She purred, as she turned her head.
To her horror, it wasn't Total that stood before her. The tom was large, and had a mottled brown red colored eyes. He smelt of Natureclan and of Cavern Rouges. "Hello Candle, or should I call you Candleflame, now?" The rouge taunted, as he began to circle the young she-cat.
Candleflame's ears pinned flat against her head, her lips peeled back into a visious snarl. "What are you doing here?"
The golden colored tom raised his eye brows, "Fafilling my mission."
"And that would be...?"
"Killing off all of VampireBat's kits." The tom spat. As if it was obvious.
Candleflame's eyes narrowed, "Then you are a fool to challenge such a blood line."
"Perhaps..." With that the tom lundged at Candleflame, his large talon like claws hooked the back of her head and threw her down onto the ground.
Candleflame tried to get back on her paws but the tom pinned her down. His eyes glittered with hate, "Who's the fool now?" He snapped, as he lowered his head to Candleflame's neck.
Candleflame thought fast, when at the last minute, a defensive move came to her. She brought up her front paws, claws unsheathed, to her attackers neck. Slashing his soft neck as hard as she could.
The tom jumped back, and let out a bloodcurling scream. Blood oozed out of his neck. Hatered blazed within the depths of his mottled eyes. He ran at Candleflame, blood pooled out like a river from his neck.
Candleflame dodged and countered by slashing his flank. The tom fumbled, and finally fell into the dust. Her eyes gleamed with satisfaction and triumpth, she stood beside the dieing tom. She lowered her head and whispered softly, "Like I said, you're a fool to challenge such a blood line."
The tom was in much pain, Candleflame could feel it. It was smothering her, but her eyes showed no signs of pitty. She left the tom to die, which eventually he would. As she walked away she felt a pair of eyes on her back, she turned and met them evenly. ((Either Vampirebat, Mothpelt, or Comet))

"That was... surprising, must I say."
VampireBat came out from the shadows, like he always does when he appears to someone. The white and brown tabby tom looked down at the dying tom. He remembered the face from somewhere... but no name came in mind. "Do you know who this is, my little Candle?"
Bushes shuffled as a gray she-cat came bustling out. "Hey, CandleFlame, had you seen... What the heck are you doing here? Get out of NatureClan territory, now!"
MothPelt stared in disbelief at her father. She could hardly recognize him. VampireBat's fur was ragged, and even though he was really muscled and sooooo skinny, it seemed as if he lost half his weight. Worst, his own blood was pouring from many wounds, mostly claw marks, and a lot from the bites on his shoulders and neck.
His eyes narrowed. "What a way to greet your father," he muttered. "Comet is right behind me, if that's who you are looking for, Moth," VampireBat meowed a little louder.

CometFall came out of the bushes behind VampireBat. "Moth, Candle." He greeted coldly. "That was a very interesting fight" He added to CandleFlame his voice brightening a bit.

Candleflame arched a brow, "Surprising? The tom is Rhinestonegem's Brother. I do not know his name, nor do I care." She bit back the venom in her voice, "What are you doing here, Father?" She glanced breifly at Mothpelt and Comet.

He nodded slightly, his eyes emotionless, hiding the worry he was actually feeling deep down. VampireBat then looked at his daughter, blood red eyes to blood red eyes. "You should care. Usually there is none foolish enough to do so and attack a kin of mine. I will be quite surprised if he's working on getting rid of all my kits alone. There are many, I made sure of that. I came because I thought you would like to meet your half-siblings," VampireBat growled, his eyes almost burning with fury. The assassin then sat down, ignoring Moth completely as she muttered curses and threats at him.

"Half siblings?" Candleflame meowed skeptically. Then it hit her, "What happened to my other brother? Total's sibling?" She urged, her eyes widening with, what would be described as fear, but something else was behind the depths of her reddening eyes.

"Why would you care?" VampireBat asked sharply, rolling his eyes. "He's being mentored back at the Alleys by my apprentice, Silk."
"With so many siblings and half-siblings, it isn't a surprise that that cat wanted to eliminate us," MothPelt muttered, rolling her eyes the same way her father did, ignoring him when he ignored her ignoring him ignoring her.

Irritation pricked at Candleflame, she padded up to her father so they were almost touching noses. "Is there a reason why I shouldn't care." Her voice dripped with venom, her eyes locked into her father's own eyes. She searched him through his eyes, it was as if she was searching for his soul.

Evanesce appeared "VampireBat, You leave too obvious a trail." she growled "Temptation wishes to see you, and will not accept any delay... she says you need to meet your spawn of doom." she said grinning

His eyes were narrowed, and he closed them for a moment. Suddenly, he brought up an unsheathed front paw and hit hard across Candle's face. "Do never speak to with that tone!" VampireBat hissed, his eyes open and now burning more than ever. "Caring is weakness. There shall be no weakness shown by those of my blood!" He now stood, his shoulders high and held his head high. He was absolutely terrifying... He seemed like a statue of a evil god.
He then nodded to Evanesce. "It will have to wait."

Evanesce flinched at the start of a fight and quickly tripped her sister's mate she did it so smoothly it seemed like he tipped himself over "Smooth move ex lacks(sp?)"

Candleflame's eyes dimmed with deep sorrow, "Then we are lost." All her fight, all her fiestyness left her. She could feel her heart plumet, this is the end. She could feel the blood drip down her cheek, as it mixed with a single salty tear.

He swiftly got up. "May I know what is your problem, Evanesce? This is none of your affairs." VampireBat shook the dust off his pelt. "Stop crying, CandleFlame. Learn to be tough."
He didn't look at her face, and he tried not to breath. To not see the blood, or not even smell it. He knew he couldn't resist... He was so thirsty...
MothPelt went right beside CandleFlame. "It's alright, don't cry, please. Comet, do something to make yourself useful! It's alright..."

Comet growled and tackled VampireBat, trying to bowl him over out of the clearing. "The farther away the better" he muttered as he tried his desperate plan

Evanesce growled "My problem is my sister will rip out my fur and then yours, she had her kits, YOUR kits... she requests your presence, and I am sent to ensure it." she snarled seeing the blood Evanesce quickly stood in between Candle and VampireBat "Now start moving, Reality has a prize for you when you get there." she growled

Candleflame shrugged off her sister, and ran. She ran as far as she could, away from it all. She wished she could just sprint off the face of the earth, and fall into nothingness. Her mind was whirling, emotions flared up within her.
It wasn't her crying, it was the cat within herself. Cherrywhisker. She felt both of their pains, she endured both of their agonies. She stopped and curled herself in a tight ball, she was shaking horribly.

MothPelt glared at her father, the rogue she-cat, and then at her brother before dashing off after CandleFlame.
VampireBat spat, but he got up yet again and stalked toward the Caverns, muttering something about how demanding Temptation is and how he would of claws her throat is she wasn't so beautiful...

Pain surged through out Candleflame, she twitched violently. Then went still, her breathing was a bit shallow. But she'd live... This has happened more than once.

MothPelt pawed CandleFlame. "This is no time to go in a coma! Our brother's gone evil, stole our nieces, and our half-siblings are born! This is terrible! Wake up, now!"
She was actually crying...
MothPelt. Crying. Oh my Gosh.

Candleflame felt Mothpelt's tear on her face.
Her eyes fluttered open, "Mothpelt." She whispered, she tested out her muscles, making sure they didn't scream with agony like they did moments before.
Nothing.
She got up and shook herself. "I'll do anything in my power to help." She meowed seriously, "And I'm sorry about what happened now and back there. Sometimes I just can't...control it all."

"I just didn't have balance, and at times I have my own pain and Cherrywhisker's at the same time." She whispered. She licked off a stray tear that was left on her sister's face. "Comet will never be the same." Her voice sounded eerie... distant even.

MothPelt shook her head like crazy. "Don't say that! Comet has a heart, VampireBat doesn't. He knows what's right to do. He loves us and his kits, even NatureClan. He would always be the same, are strong kind-hearted brother," she cried.
