MarbleWing blinked as she entered the Fire Fly swamp. It always surprised her how bright the fireflies made it here. Sighing MarbleWing padded to the edge of the swamp and sat down. She looked across the water at all the fireflies and flowers and lily pads, it almost brought tears to her eyes, the beauty of it all. And yet even with all this around her it still seemed like everyone in the clan, even her brother, thought she didn't belong, that she would turnout just like her mother! Would be a traitor who raided the nursery, stole half the kits, killed most of the apprentices and elders, then took the kits to the rouges and tell them all the secrets of NatureClan and the cats in it, just like her mother tried to! MarbleWing hated it! She knew no one would believe her if she tried to tell them she isn't like her mom was, that she likes NatureClan and she's a loyal warrior! No, after the first fight MarbleWing knew she would be alone. But that wasn't fare ether, the apprentices had been taunting her again, back when she was 7 moons old, they had chased her here and shoved her into the swamp, then held her down! MarbleWing had been terrified, she knew if she didn't do something she would die! So MarbleWing fought back against the paws that held her down! She bit and scratched and fought her way out of the water. The three apprentices had all attacked her, but MarbleWing won the fight and when the three apprentices got back to camp they told there version of the story, no one would listen to MarbleWing when she tried to tell them what really happened! And it has been the same from then on, no one listened to MarbleWing and she has to fight to stay alive! MarbleWing was so deep in thought she didn't notice the cat on the other side of the swamp until they had walked up and sat down beside her. "Wa?" she said when she noticed the cat. MarbleWing unsheathed her claws and turned to face the cat. "What do you want?" she growled.
