It was twilight as Harppaw made her way to the Vine Hollow. Nothing seemed to be going right for her and her siblings. Everything was a complete mess. First, they were cursed or something. Second, her leader had just died. Heatherstar, the all mighty leader who had lead for generations. Harppaw hung her head low as she sat down in the clearing.
She looked up at Starclan, 'perhaps your guiding us from above'. She thought. The stars were twinkling in responce, and that was reassurane to Harppaw.
Never-the-less she still felt a deep, burning sorrow within her very soul. The odd apprentice began to sing softly. A song for all those dear to her. Heatherstar. Her dad. Her mom. Her siblings. Her voice seemed to be blended with the wind, making her song carry through out the lands. It was a soft melody, one no cat could forget. Good or Evil.
There, Harppaw sang, until she was bathed in the moon light. She sang long past twilight, and hadn't stopped. It was now moon high, and there were some cats coming towards her...(about 2-5 cats please)

TarpenLeaf was gathering herbs when she came across HarpPaw. Some cats thought it was weird that she sometimes goes out at night to gather herbs. She padded over to HarpPaw, and meowed, "Well, yes, they are and always wil be guarding us from above." She meowed gently, sitting down beside the apprentice.

Harppaw only flicked her tail once. To inform Tarpenleaf that she was aware of his presence. She finally brought her song to a close, and at that precise moment the wind stopped. All was silent, for now. Silent, yet peaceful. A good combination.
She looked back at Tarpenleaf, "I believe they do. I wish Heatherstar was still here, leading us through such dark times. She'd know exactly what to do." Her voice sounded a bit raspy because she had sang half the night away.

TArpenLeaf nodded. "She would," She sighed. "I do miss her as well, but life goes one, and the world continues to spin, even though it seems like it should stop." She meowed. "But Violetlight will be a great leader,"

Starkit padded up behind Tarpenleaf, she had heard them talk about Heatherstar. She'd barely knew the cat since she was only about a few moons old. "was Heatherstar great?" the small she-cat meowed looking at tarpenleaf with curiousty and sadness in her eyes she looked as if she was going to cry.

Harppaw dipped her her head in agreement. "When will Violetlight recieve her 9 lives? She should do it soon, so that Sourbite doesn't get any ideas." She muttered darkly. How she hated Sourbite, infact she hated him with a burning passion.

"wow i want 9 lives" Starkit said in a dreamy voice. Just imaganing it made her shudder with anticapation. She looked at Harppaw with her kind, dreamy eyes.
