Acornleaf had just given birth to three very fine healthy kits. She licked the top of their heads, "Charishedkit." She meowed to the muddy red-brown striped tabby with white socks. "Blessedkit." She meowed to the grey tom with bold black stripes. He had a single white spot on his chest and a white tipped tail. She turned to the next kit, "Raspberrykit." She meowed, this kit was the smallest kit of the litter. She was all black with a purple-red hue. She smiled.
"I love you three with all my heart." She meowed to each of her kits. "But I must go. I must go and join my mother up in starclan now. Grasstail will take very good care of you I am sure." Her breathing became even shallower. "Tell him I love him and that it's my time to leave." She rasped, she laid her head down. The light in her eyes had faded. Acornleaf was gone.
Raspberrykit licked her mother's cheek. Her eyes full of understanding, Charishedkit blinked back the tears that were forming in her eyes. Where was this cat called Grasstail? She pondered.

Brightpaw was bringing bedding the queens and saw Acronleaf's lifeless body. He ran out looking for Minkstar and Grasstail.

Grasstailwalked into the nursery slowly, and shakenly,
"What have I done..." Grasstail said blankly as he looked at the dead body of Acornkit, or what once was Acornkit, Grasstail had messed her up once after faking his own death and well...
"I see Starclan, this is what I get for messing with love..." Grasstail wept as he went to the kits and started cleaning them off, it was true, love could kill.

Raspberrykit looked at her father with large raspberry colored eyes, they were all watery. She plundged her small delicate head into his pelt, and wept.
Charishedkit allowed the silent tears of pain to fall. She licked her dead mother's cheek.

((Um I think I'm gonna change what happened. Acornleaf THOUGHT they were the rouge's kits but in all actuality they're GrassTails. But she didn't know that and Grasstail will figure it out))
Charishedkit looked at her brother and then to her father.
