"Where in StarClan did Starkit go to, for pete sake he's blind" LossDream's mew was nervous and upset. Her tail lashed as she tried to pick up his sent.
Meanwhile Starkit is oblivious to his mothers distress about him missing. Just because he cannot see doesn't mean that he cannot see. His paws and senses are guided by StarClan. "StarClan why am I blind?" He mewed angrily. He scented a crow as his paw took him to the other side of the Swamp. His paws stopped and he sat down. His eyes had no expression, only the fact that his ears turned to feel his surroundings. It seemed peaceful, he enjoyed the peacefulness.

"Whats wrong?" a small kit looking apprentice mewed. she was very delicate boned, and looked like a gust of wind could shatter her, but she had more endurance than it looked. She was light brown, with darker tabby stripes, she was bengal patterned as well, she had some spots, mostly on her face, she was really pretty little thing. Not much bigger than when she left the nursery FairyKit was graceful, even with one paw wrapped up to the ankle, and a hind leg used very gingerly. She looked at LossDream with interest.

LossDream looked at Fariykit "It's Starkit. Again! He went out on his own again. Whats worse is that he is BLIND!!!!!" She was upset, and hoped he was still alive.
Starkit continued to sit in the reeds quiter than a mouse. He saw StarClan and they were mad. He wanted to have his answers but they ignored the small blind kit.

FairyPaw nodded "DOn't worry LossDream, he will be fine I promise...... where is your nest, and can you tell me which scent is his in your nest?" FairyPaw asked. "I'm good at tracking." she explained.... she had worked hard at hunting, and tracking, and she was good at it, she had a good nose, and she trained it hard.

LossDream pointed to her nest at the darkest part of the make shift den with her tail. "Don't disturb the kits that are there." Her mew was serious and a calm tone. Her pelt was sticking up all over the place because she was worried. "I am going to find my mate he can help aswell." With that the queen dashed off to find her mate.

FairyPaw sniffe dthe nest without disturbing the other kits then turned and put ehr nose to the ground liek a dog might sniffing along a trail "I got his scent!" she called before following it through teh bog carefully not drowning herself...

"StarKit! He went missing, so I ish trackin him!" FairyPaw purred touching her cousin and best friend's flank with her tail "But according to his scent trail, he went through the middle of this spot, cuz it just disappears here, but he is too young to be able to swim!" FairyPaw said "And I can't swim....." she hunched up like there was something she wasn't saying that went with that "But I can't go around, or the scent'll fade the rest of the way before I get around this... pond thing.. its too long..." she shivered at the thought of having to go through the water.

"I'll do it FairyPaw" SaltyPaw volunteered, now looking serious as he plunged into the nastly mud puddle thing, and started across. With a grimace at how the water and mud stuck to his fur he moved farther out until he was on the other side. "It's shallow enough that you can walk across... it's just very horrible feeling..... or I could find some other way to get you across......" He called over to her.

FairyPaw shivered "Its not that I can't swim, I know how.. its.. its the fact that its water.." she said softly hanging her head in shame, she was supposed to be fearless, like LunarPaw and ForgottenPaw, not a big baby..... she was gunna be the best tracker and the best queen.... but... she failed......"How strong is the scent?" she called over "Start following it! yours wills till be there when I get around!" she called dashing aroudn the side of the long mud pond.

"It's still pretty strong and fresh" He called as she was running around the pond before he started following the scent easily through the sticky mud that sucked at his paws. He walked somewhat slowly waiting on FairyPaw to catch up..... if the kit had gotten this far it should still be fine.

FairyPaw caught up with SaltyPaw finally sniffing the air she snorted "He's nearby... in a patch of.." she snorted again "CatTails....and.... watermint.. we should tell DragonFang where the Watermint is.... she'll need it, and the cattails are good too." FairyPaw had spent most of her life int eh Medicine cat den, she would know.

"Alright, I'll remember that, lets just hurry up and get the kit so we can go back.... this mud is starting to get on my nerves" He muttered as he looked down at himself.... his usually pure white pelt was now covered in drying mud, making him look like a dark brown cat.

"awww is mr grumpy a little muddy?" FAiryPaw teased "Besides, Ithink you look good as a brown and green tabby!" she joked splashing him with more mud as she jumped into a patch of cattails "FOUND HIM!!!" she yowled back she walked up to Starkit "Starkit! Its me, FairyPaw, you probably know this though, your mom's worried about you, will you come home with me, so we can tell her your alright? and she can groom you to make herself feel better?" FairyPaw asked sitting down by the kit

Starkit turned his head to Fairypaw as if he could see her, but of course he couldn't. "StarClan won't answer me at all." He mewed sadly. "I they gave me the ability to see them but no other cats. I know i shouldn't be out here but... StarClan led me out here." Twitching his tail the small, blind and muddy kit got up and walked threw the reeds as if he could see his way but a StarClan she cat was guiding him threw the reeds keeping him safe. He stopped and tured his head and mewed "YOu two comin or what?"

FairyPaw shot SaltyPaw a glance of "I'll yell at you alter" before following StarKit. "Here it gets super wet here, do you mind if i carry you? I know your being guided, but it would make me feel better..." FairyPaw said softly as water soaked through erh pelt making her wish she hadn't come out... she was aquaphobic darn it!

Starkit shrugged. "I guess you can." Starkit waited for the shecat to pick him up so he can get back to his mother. He doen't like his mother getting worried about him at all. "Was mum that worried about me?" He mewed worringly.

"Mmmhmm.. I thought she was gunna have a heart attack." FairyPaw mewed just before picking him up and starting off at a jog, avoiding as much water as she could. she ran through a couple clumps of herbs that she took mental note of as she went, and came into camp before shaking her pelt off, splattering it on a couple nearby cats. "HEY!!!" MistedPaw snarled licking her fur clean again "I just got all the mud off of me!" she said sharply.
