Name: WildKit (To be WildSong)
Gender: She-cat
Age: 5 moons
General Appearance: Has a somewhat pathetic-lost look on her face that most cats have to pity. Her cheeks are very defined; each white whisker curls elegantly from her muzzle. Her entire pelt is scruffy and ungroomed, for the most part. Her fur sticks up in cute little patches that queens oogle over. She has a basic Maine Coon body type: Big triangle ears with dark fur at the tips, an attractive arched back, a medium length tail that will have bushier fur as she gets older, and big clumsy cute paws made for tripping over roots and logs. She is rather small, but perhaps that will change with time.
Pelt Color: Her fur is in waves of a thousand shades of soft silver, smoky cream, rose wood, and black-brown. It's very beautiful under the mixed shade of trees and sunlight, where the sun brightens some parts but not others. It would be a pelt any cat could be proud of... if she groomed it a bit more often.
Eye Color: Steel gray with a chip of lamplight gold in her right eye. The edges are a very dark gray; almost black. All in all, her eyes are completely boring and ordinary, a total contrast to her lovely pelt. But no cat can be completely perfect and lovely in everything, can she?
Rank: Kit
Mentor/Apprentice: None; will need a mentor soon.
Wanted Mentor/Apprentice: She'd love to be mentored by EverPain/Star herself. But the odds of that happening are very slim and she knows it.
History: She wasnt a clan cat at all, actually. She was a little Loner kit that got curious, went into clan territory, watched the ill-fated gathering, and padded into the open at just the right moment to be scooped up by one of the she-cats following EverPain to the new territory of the FifthClan. Ever since then, she has pretended to be a x-MysticClan kit named GrayKit, but was re-named by the FifthClan queens who call her WildKit for her untamed and completely alien behavior(if they knew she was previously a Loner kit, they would understand her cluelessness towards clan traditions and culture). She can expect to become an apprentice of her clan soon; she's nearly six moons old...
Marks/Scars: None; at least, none that you can see under her thick fur.
<3:
SINGING-Whenever she feels the urge or gets new inspiration, she bursts into song. It was something her mother, Melody, always used to do...
COLLECTING TREASURES-Sparkly rocks, wierdly shaped roots, bright shells of beetles, exceptionaly soft or pretty feathers, flowers that she presses between rocks to preserve, etc... She stores them in a good-sized hole she dug under her nest in the nursery.
THE QUEENS-They never loose their patience with her, though they must be tired of her constant busting of rhymes by now. Her mother is living far away in a barn in Loner territory, so they care for her, even though they have no real reason to.
EXPLORING-She would give anything to get out of FifthClan's makeshift camp and see new things, but the inner boundaries of camp will have to do for now(it's against the warrior code for kits to leave camp, you know?). She climbs tree stumps, bothers the elders for stories, examines(and sometimes samples) prey on the kill pile, and watches the apprentice play fight(learning all the while).
BEING IN A CLAN-Clan life, to her, is so very exciting compared to her early moons as a Loner. She cant wait to be an apprentice, and then a warrior. She even has secret dreams of being deputy one day! The entire concept of caring for other cats that will repay you with their kindness and loyalty just amazes her!
</3:
THE OTHER KITS-They pick on her because of her messy fur, sometimes. She doesnt like them; they dont know how hard it is to be the only kit without a mother to care for her. They have no worries or problems and take out their boredom on those that do.
HER VOICE-She doesnt like her voice. It's too... immature and squeaky. Her mother's voice was beautiful and could reach low and high notes WildKit cant because of her strictly soprano kitten voice.
GOING HUNGRY-There are days when her clan, still unused to finding prey in the marshes, doesnt bring home any prey at all. Even though the queens and kits are always fed first, WildKit still goes to bed hungry often enough. She cant imagine how horrible it must be for the warriors and apprentice, who go hungry far more often than she.
BEING AWAY FROM MOM-She doesnt like having to be away from her mother. She loves clan life and would never leave, even if she were sure her mother were still at the barn in Loner territory(her mother has probably already moved on by now, since she only stopped at the barn to raise WildKit, her single kitten). However, it is still completely normal for a kitten to miss her mother when seperated from her.
HAVING TO BE PATIENT-She doesnt like having to wait for anything. Not for her voice to change and become more mature, not to be an apprentice and then a warrior, not to leave camp and explore her territory on patrols...
