(oh thats real... brilliant.) Onyx led the way to the place where she and Axle went to be together when they we eyoung.. usually right after they went there there was kits.... but THAt is another story.. Onyx blinked as the waves of aroma and the pink reminded her of a happier time in ehr life, a time with Axle, and a time when she had kits... ahhh kits. she looked back at Axle smiling

Axle's blue and gold eyes were on the scenery around them. He was unblinking, almost dreamlike. He wore a faint frown.
It vanished suddenly as if he were forcing it away.
"So we've got the whole night." Kits werent necessary. Just hanging out with her would be nice.

"Voles" Onyx answered grinning and laughing slightly thinking of the time she had chucked a vole at his head......

Axle seemed to think of that too; he grimaced.
"Two voles, coming up." Voles were easy. They were just about as common as mice...
He returned five minutes later with a pair of voles.
One was silky black and the other was the common brown vole color. He pushed the black one at Onyx.
"If it's got a mutant gene that made it's fur black, you can eat it without fear of your fur going black." Onyx's fur was already black.

Onyx looked at him with this 'you meanie' sort of look and swatted him in the back of the head with her tail "That wasn't nice.... what makes you think my heart is black?" she asked frowning slightly

"Remember Minnow?" He asked. When he said her name, his eyes darkened.
"You probably dont, but you didnt care when she died. You only cared about yourself. You have no compassion towards others." After explaining that, he turned back away and put his head on his paws. It was clear that he was still bitter about Minnow's murder, even fourteen moons later.

"If I'd never met her, she might still be alive." Axle stated quietly.
When he had met Minnow, he'd been in Loner territory. He'd saved her from a small group of lone rogues... She may have survived the lone rogues, even without Axle's help, and therefore, she may have still been alive today, were it not for the white tom.

Onyx sighed "The scary thing is I have outlived most of my kits" she sighed "pinta and Link were killed, I believe by BlackFear, Pinta's now dead Son. and Coal, died when he was young, because he ran into the electric fence.." Onyx broke of... her voice cracking... tears spilled down her face
