DarkLight was laying down in her nice warm mossy nest. She opened one of her dark yellow, almost orange eyes. She noticed that the was up, bt hadn't been up for very long. She also noticed that most of the other cats around her were still sleeping peacefully, but her brother's nest was empty... He's going to work himself to death if he doesn't chill She thought bitterly debating on whether she felt like getting up now or not. With a large sigh she decided she should get up now and see if there was anything that needed to be done yet or not. After a few moments of still laying there she got up and walked out. Her dark eyes first traveled toward the apprentices' den. Her apprentice BlazingPaw(I think lol) should be becoming a warrior really soon. Perhaps I can talk ShadowedStorm into coming out on patrol to test the oldest apprentices... She thought as ShadowedStorm also had one of the oldest apprentices. DarkLight stretched in the rising sun and then walked toward the apprentices' den "BlazingPaw" She called softly making sure that she didn't awaken in of the other apprentices that were trying to sleep. After she heard a bit of stirring she backedo ut of the den and looked around the camp for her brother...

A ginger tom squeezed out of the apprentices den, fur ruffled in sleep. "Am I on dawn patrol?" He meowed, not remembering being told. BlazingPaw quickly groomed down his sticking up fur and looked to his mentor, DarkLight.
ShadowedStorm had been awake for an hour or so, thinking carefully. His shoulders felt weighed down with the responsibility of MysticClan. He had decided that since MysticClan usually backed AbyssClan that they would fight with the Shadowed Doom. He groomed down his fur and trotted out of the den.

"No, we're just training" DarkLight meowed roughly over her shoulder as she walked straight for ShadowedStorm. "Eat something" She added as she reahed ShadowedStorm, but it was obviously aimed at BlazingPaw. "How's you apprentice coming along?" She asked deciding to keep the topic away from his work duties...

BlazingPaw shrugged and nodded, turning and trotting to the freshkill pile and pawing a vole out of it. He crouched beside it and bite into it.
ShadowedStorm smiled to his sister with a nod. "She's doing great. Her and her littermates should be ready to be warriors.
(Are there any kits that need to be apprenticed at all...?)

DarkLight nodded a smile crossing her face and her yellow eyes shining slightly with pride at her apprentice. "I was thinking we should take them out together for an assessment" She suggested casting a glance toward where BlazingPaw was eating. "BlazingPaw is ready to be a warrior... its about a moon early, but eh... he's got the right skills" She added turning back to her brother

ShadowedStorm smiled. "I could say the same SandPaw. I'll have to talk to they're siblings mentors and see how they're coming along in the training..." He thought through his mind carefully. "I think an assesment would be perfect right now..." He meowed, surpressing a sigh. Remembering that there had been no kits ready to become apprentices yet.

DarkLight nodded "They're going to like being woken up... I'll let you get them up" She meowed with a giggle and then got up and walked toward BlazingPaw. As she passed she pawed ShadowedStorm lightly of the ear playfully. "Alright BlazingPaw, you do good on this assessment and you'll be a warrior early" DarkLight called her voice going just a bit more rough then when she'd been talking with her brother, but not like mean sounding, just sorta stern-like

BlazingPaw flicked his ears up, appetite gone. "A warrior?!" He meowed, remembering to keep his voice low for the cats still sleeping.
ShadowedStorm grinned and trotted over to the apprentices den, looking for SandPaw and HoardingPaw, and any other of the siblings. "Wake up." He meowed, loud enough to wake the sleeping apprentices and ducked back out of the den, trotting over to DarkLight and waiting for the apprentices.

DarkLight smiled slightly at ShadowedStorm and then gave a slight nod to BlazingPaw "Eat" She ordered lightly knowing he should eat if he wanted to do his best.
SandPaw came walking out slowly blinking in the sun obviously just getting up. Even though it was obvious she'd just awoken her pretty gray dappled pelt was just as pretty and just as smooth as it always was, shining softly in the sunlight. She gave a questioning glance at ShadowedStorm and then looked toward BlazingPaw, who looked excited.

BlazingPaw gave a face and bent to eat more, though he didn't want to. After he finished, he pushed the vole away and turned excidedly to the three other cats, though he kept his face composed and serious.
ShadowedStorm smiled. "You better eat too, SandPaw." He meowed. He'd tell her while she ate.

SandPaw shrugged as if she didn't really care and grabbed a small mouse... She'd never been that big of an eater... She didn't say anything, but her emerald greens eyes shown with suspiciousness as she looked from DarkLight to ShadowedStar and then to her brother BlazingPaw, waiting for an explanation that she knew would come soon....

BlazingPaw quivered in excitment, though was too wrapped up in his own thoughts that he couldn't find any words to explain to his sister.
"DarkLight and I will be taking you, BlazingPaw, hopefully HoardingPaw... and any other apprentices who are ready and assess you to see if you are ready to become a warrior." He explained slowly.

A ginger top loped out of the apprentice den, he appeared a little sleepy still as if he had not compleatly awaken yet but he bounded towards his brother and sister with a happier face then usual "Why'd you wake me up" Hoardingpaw meowed.

ValiantPaw woke up and jogged out (who is her mentor again?) "OOO where ya goin? can I come? cuz If I can't I'll come anyway... and I can give you the top ten reasons why I SHOULD come...." she started talking almost immediately after seeing her siblings and their mentors.

SandPaw didn't really react "Oh" She mewed not looking exactly excited, but her emerald green eyes did shine just a bit more. "Hi HoardingPaw and ValiantPaw" She added looking at her two siblings

BlazingPaw flicked her ear with his tail, rolling his eyes. "You know you're excited." He meowed, then looked at HoardingPaw and ValiantPaw. "We're going to have our warrior assessment!" He purred, more excited then his sister. He shuffled his paws impatiently, just wanting to go.

Hoardingpaw looked excited as he looked at Blazingpaw with a smile, "Really?" He meowed with a flick of his ears and his tail waved in the air in excitement as he looked at his siblings. (Who is his mentor?)

ImmortalBattle stretched "Yeah, Valiant is ready, if they don't make her a warrior soon I'll never sleep..... and seriously, she doesn't even need warrior skills.. she could kill someone wiht how much she TALKS." he complained.
ValiantPaw was bouncing up and down "I GET TO GO!!!' she squealed "YAY!!' she pounced BlazingPaw "I could so kick your butt in a fight!" she told him.

DarkLight almost laughed, but stopped herself and just allowed a small smile "I think they're all ready by now... With only having these few apprentices everyone has sort of pitched in to help with their training" She commented her yellow eyes glowing as she watched her apprentice for his reaction to the challenge.
SandPaw was just watching them with sort of a blank look on her face, but she was obviously contemplating something.... A small smile played on the corners of her mouth.

ValiantPaw let her brother up and rolled in the sand, the dropped into a hunting crouch, lithe and with the sand in her silver pelt, invisible... dun dun dun... not really, her twitching tail and bright green eyes gave her away. she pounced on SandPaw "Whatca thinkin bout? you got a crush on someone? huh? TELL MEEEE."
