DestinyWinds went to check on NightStar, and see if he was feeling any better....
"DestinyWinds? Muddog?" that was ValiantPaw, oh dear... She limped into the den, blood pouring rather heavily from her left hip. "Can uhh.. somebody help me with this?" she asked, her eyes wee tight, and the green was tainted by a pained expression, and her voice rang with contained sobs.

BlazingPaw ran in after her, smelling her mixed with blood from outside. "ValiantPaw?" He asked, panicked. "What happened? Are you okay?" He wanted to press his side into her, but worried it would hurt her.

MudDog looked shocked as the scent of blood crashed over him. He looked up as the apprentice stumbled forward, jumping up to come meet her and help her the rest of the way into the den. "What happened to you, ValiantPaw?" he asked, a blur of brown as he rushed across the den, gathering herbs and chewing them into a paste. By now this was automatic, it didn't take much thought for him to clean a wound. He felt it gently with his nimble paws, trying to determine if it was dislocated.

ValiantPaw sighed as she suddenly no longer had to walk. She flopped down on her uninjured side. "you should have seen it MudDog, it was brilliant, see there was this dove like bird, I think ImmortalBattle called it a Pigeon, anyway it was guarding a nest up in the tree over the Oasis, near the top, so I went up to get it, it wouldn't leave the nest, so I pounced it, and the branch kinda broke.... so i fell.... and my hip caught on the branch, the oasis was filled with blood, it was totally SICK!" she purred in excitement. "Ouch, that hurts!"

MudDog rolled his eyes. Good, it wasn't dislocated. Just a really bad flesh wound. Hopefully it didn't damage any other tissue. The medicne cat apprentice patched ValiantPaw up, with a lot of cobweb covering everything. "Now, take it easy. I want you to sleep here tonight, just to make sure. BlazingPaw, go fetch her something to eat."

"Blaze, it was so cool! you should have been there1 I bet my fall looked totally dramatic and amazing, you should have seen ImmortalBattle's face! I thought he was going to drop dead or something.... then he dragged me out of that freezing pool, he was like trying to make sure i was alive, it was hilarious..." she purred

BlazingPaw grinned, but only for a short moment before running to get her a rabbit from the pile, dragging it behind him back to the medicine den. "Here," He simply said, lying in infront of his sister where she could get it.

MudDog rolled his eyes, sittig down next to the apprentice. He cleaned up what he had gotten out from fixing up Valiantpaw, and stacked a few more herbs, before sniffing her wound over one more time.

MudDog cocked his head thoughtfully. Then he shook his head, smiling at the aapprentice. "Being the medicine cat was all I ever wanted to do." he answered openly.

"Well then, I'll just have to fall out of trees more often so you have somebody to talk to!" she said with a purr, not really a crush on MudDog, she was just overly friendly... she'd do anything for a friend, and as of now, poof he was her friend!
