Definace stalked down the allys, he had a pretty good idea of where his sister was at this point in time and wasted no time getting there. He wanted to talk to her. they had not had a good converstation in a long time. He turned on a corner into a even darker ally, then turned into another even darker and a more narrow ally. He scanned the ally, she was supposed to be here but he could not see all the way down the long ally. "Vitalany?" He called out his voice even. He looked like shadow as he stood there waiting.

From among the shadows just eside Defiance, Vitalany's bright purple eyes gleamed just seeming to appear out of no where. "Hey bro" She meowed in her normal cheerful voice. She probably would have scared him as Defiance obviously hadn't known she was there before... of course knowing her brother he would never admit it. She stepped into the dim light of the alley way seeming as if a shadow just wavered into the shape of a small she-cat. Vitalany's black cape waved slightly behind her in the breeze and her eyes turned slightly serious... "You need something?" She asked... It was unusual for Defiance to just appear for a chat with anyone.

Definace looked at Vitalany, he was suprised though not frightened, ok maybe a tiny bit scrared, the shaowy shape jumped on a cardboard box that some twoleg had left long ago, "I have to want somthing to talk to you eh?" He growled, "My own sister" he said shaking his head, "I came to chat belive it or not" he meowed his face serious and his golden eyes scanned her face in wonder.

Vitalany's face brightened... It was no secret how much she liked to talk to other cats... especially her brother. "Well, seeing its you that is usually why you come to ME and not vice versa but I have to say I like it better when you come to just chat" She meowed bouncing forward a step or two before plopping down. Her cape was suddenly gusted by a rather hard wind in which it flew over her and landed on top of her face. With a slight sigh she did a wierd little roll and flip like thing that sent it back behind her... It might have looked slightly wierd.

Defiance shook his head ignoring his sister slight weirdness, he knew it was unsual since well he was not one who liked tro chat all the time or not at all really... not like his sister anyways. 'Just wanted to see how you were doing?" he meowed his head tilted, he cared about his sister a lot though he showed it in confusing ways a lot of the time.... "Has anything happened lately?" he meowed acting very curious, he was curious though. His sister mush have somthing intresting to tell him.

Well, that of course sent Vitalany into a rambling. "Lets see... Carlie gave this one cat, Thunder, you might know her, a mission to go to CelestialClan.. she might take Ramirez not sure... oh and I talked with Vixen and then she attacked me... I met this WONDEROUS tom. He was soooo cool, and then Entreri, you know Vierna's brother? She was my best spy friend before she was killed and anyway I hang out with Enteri sometimes... It's so sad really, the poor tom is really lonely though he won't admit it... kinda like you actually but... hes... meaner I guess, but anyways I sorta ally witht him and he made a truce with Vixen so now I'm not a main target though Mr.VampireBat is still out to get me but he hasn't showed his face around me yet so I'm not to worried about him... etc, etc. etc." Vitalany started meowing on and on and on about every little detail that had happened lately.

Definace listened through the babbling and once his sister seemed to be done... seemed. He raised an Eyebrow, "Wonderous tom? I don't like the sound of that" defiance meowed his voice unsure.

Vitalany stuck her tongue out at Defiance. She would have blushed a little but between the darkness around her and the black spots on her face they were hidden from Defiance's view... Of course being her brother he would probably know what would make her slightly uncomfortable. "Oh yes, his name is StormShadow..... NatureClanner and yes you heard me right WONDEROUS" She meowed a large grin on her face... Her purple eyes were somewhat distant now searching her memory back to the next time she was going to meet with the handsome tom.

Defiance shook his head half in disapproval and half in shock; he muttered some word that could not be distinguished which was good for him. He never liked the idea of his sister having a tom… even more so one from Natureclan not that there was anything wrong with the cats of Natureclan it was just weird. He kept his eyes to the ground thinking of a response that would not make his sister angry. He sat there in silence, his tail whooshing against the alley path.

Vitalany continued her babbling on and on not at all realizing that Defiance was at all in discomfort. " (Random stuff over and over again)" After she finally finished speaking after what seemedl ike 30 min to an hour she was practically breathless but her eyes glowed "So how have you been?" She asked cheefully

Defiance was looking past Vitalany the whole time thinking, he was not listening much to what his sister was talking about but got the mist of what she was saying. He turned his dark golden eyes up to look at her, “Nothing really, my existence is not as fascinating as yours” Defiance said his voice dead with no emotion, he was still thinking about this ‘wondrous tom’ Vitalany had mentioned.

Vitalany looked unconvinced... or maybe she just couldn't believe that nothing at all could have happened. "Come on! Surely SOMETHING has happened... " She pressed the subject suddenly looked somewhat bored... Defiance definetely wasn't the most interesting cat to talk to and now that Vitalany couldn't think of something to say... she was bored. "Something? Anything? A conversation would be nice" Vitalany kept pressing her borther.

"Fine, uh I met a cat" He said then looked at Vitalany, hoping that would be enough for her even though he had a feeling it would not and she would want more detail then just I met a cat. He waited for the questions to start pouring or a sarcastic look from his sister of how nondescript he was.

Vitalany rolled her violet eyes "Seriously Defiance you should just go ahead and tell me these things because you should know that I'm going to ask" She meowed seriously though she was obviously fighting to keep the smile off her face. "Okay so who was it? Do I know them? Wait that was a stupid question I know practically everyone.... Were they nice to you or did they beat you up?" She started flinging questions at Defiance as quickly as she could.

Defiance let out a low laugh, it was weird for him to laugh, "Did they beat me up what kind of question is that? no, she was nice." Defiance meowed with a sarcastic look, "Her name is Xena" He meowed slowly, then swished his tail behind him wondering what Vitalany's reaction would be. He expected that she did know the cat since Vitalany had told him about Xena once.

Vitalany was silent for a moment thinking of the she-cat that Defiance just mentioned.... "Xena? Nice? huh"... She asked slightly surpised... her ears pricked curiously. Then a sly expression crossed the normally super innocent face of Vitalany... one that was anything but innocent. "And were you nice back? Oh! where did you meet her at..? Here? Which alley?" she asked that sly smile still on her face.

"She was nice, well I guess nice is an overstatement.... though she was not like you nice." Definace rolled his eyes, "Yeah I guess I was nice back, uh why do you need this information?" He asked suddenly suspisous of her, was he going to tell Carlie that a cavern rogue was in Alley rogue territory?

Vitalany chuckled at what he was thinking... being siblings(and really close siblings at that) they seemed to be able to know vaguely what the other was along the lines of. "You should know I don't care for the petty differences between rogue groups... there is mch more important things going on to bother Carlie with that information and besides even if I did why would Carlie care? This Cavern Rogue does not harm her guild therefore it is fine" Vitalany went off on a long speech on why Defiance should trust her indirectly of course

"Such as looking over Thunder and Ramirez's progess in the Clan?" Came a voice as a large calico leaped down. "At least, some one needs to, and it's not me or Carlie." HyenaSong meowed, nodding to Defiance and looking at Vitalany.
(Sorry I hope its ok if Vitalany looks over progress every once in a while)

Vitalany grinned "I would be most priveledged" she meowed with a sarcastic bow to her Autn though within the guild they were on the same status level... except Vitalany was on close terms with Carlie... moreso then HyenaSong... only because Vitalany was her first recruit though.

HyenaSong rolled her eyes. "So, Defiance, what brings you here?" She turned away from her favorite, and really only, neice to her nephew.

"Nothing, I can visit my sister every so often" he meowed his words blank again as Hyenasong came along, he looked away from Hyenasong and looked into the distance. "What brings you here?" defiance asked the question back his voice mellow and his eyes empty as he kept his gaze to the distance.

"Wait! You never told me what alley you two were on?!" Vitalany squeaked bringing the attention back to her.... and being overly dramatic about it of course. "I NEED to know Defiance" She pleaded dramatically pushing herself as low to the ground as she could in a pleading stance her head on her paws and her big violet eyes staring up at Defiance with the puppy-dog expression that won everyone over.... of course she was joking...

Defiance thought back for a moment to where the alley was, he flicked his ear ignoring his sisters puppy dog expression with a flick of his tail. "Hmm exit this alley and go six down, and that is the location of where we were" Defiance meowed his eyes trailing down to Vitalany's he could not help but give in. It was his brotherly instinct.
