"Xena." Cougar nodded to her, but not in a friendly way. Just a way that said 'we're companions, but don't expect me to be sweet as sugar to you'. "Whats up?" She meowed, looking away from IcyKit to her family member.

Icy watched Xena and Cougar guessing that they werent enemies... She flicked her tail, she had met Xena before with Shade, Xena was ok but Icy knew she had a bad temper.

"If anything was going on I wouldn't be talking to you" Xena replied rather coldly. It was actually about as nice as she got around anyone that wasn't Shade or Bandit and Cougar would know that and not take it offensively. "What would CougarKnife of CelestialClan be doing here without SaborBlades? Usually you two only talk to Death together? Has there been a skirmish between you two?" She asked with a sly look in her chocolate brown eyes.

"He's going back on his word. I bet he's throwing away our work just to be with some little frail she cat." Cougar rolled her eyes with a growl. She was still incredibly pissed at her brother. "I've been coming alone for quite a while."

"Well, good for him, defying Death like that, absolutely wonderful" Xena laughed finding it rather humorous. Something about the look in her eyes showed that she thought the idea incredibly stupid but since it wasn't her doing it she thought it was fun to watch. "How's your service life goin'?" She asked almost disdainfully... Pretty much she'd just called Cougar a slave, doing all Death's dirty work. Xena was happy her grandmother hardly even knew she existed.. or she just didn't care. Out of Xena's siblings Death only really liked Xena's twin Elincia... spoiled brat she was.

Cougar unsheathed her claws. Everything Xena had just said made her even angrier. "Does it matter?" She hissed, wanting to slice her claws through the other she cats fur, even though she had practically saved her life as a kit. Cougar held grudges, not debts.

Icy rolled her blue eyes, who really cared? Did it really matter? Who was right? Icy just thought to herself as she watched silently and flicked her tail a little impatiently, she looked away from the two she-cats.

Cougar turned her back on Xena to Icy. "So, you hate your Clan as well?" She meowed, forgetting all their past conversations. They were swept away in her frustration.

Icy slowly suprised by the sudden mood swing, one moment wanting to claw someones fur out the next making a conversation. She shrugged. "Yeah pretty much, it's pretty much why I'm here" Icy stated quickly, she was always trying to escape from her clan.

"Mhmm. Same here." Cougar meowed. She had mood swings a lot, but ehr temper hadn't worn off, and it was obvious she was still angry.

Xena blinked a couple of times in a calm manner not at all daunted by Cougar's reaction. The comment wasn't supposed to be taken personally but if Cougar wanted to take it personally she could. "I would say that it does" She replied truthfully in a matter-of-fact manner.

Icy turned to Xena to look at her for a second then turned back to Cougar to speak, "So what clan do you live in? I'm guessing by the smell of you Celestial Clan?" Icy guessed sniffing a few times, then turning her cold eyes to Cougar again.

“Yeah, unfortunately” Icy meowed her voice sour as she looked at Cougar then to a rustle in the bushes, a white tom appeared, the tom looked around at the cats. He did not recognize Cougar but did recognize Xena. Sam wondered if they were going to attack him or something.
“Who are you?” Icy meowed her voice hostile, and like always slick and cold.
Sam raised an eyebrow he had not expected a kit with such a temper. “Sam” he replied his voice gruff as he said the one word response. The massive cats peered at the other two she-cats wondering what they were going to say.
“Well, not to be rude… BUT WHY ARE YOU HERE?” Icy hissed her fur prickling.
“Just passing by is all” Sam meowed not flinching at the small cats ferocity. “I did not expect I would be showed up by a small little clan cat tonight.” He remarked.

Cougar raised to her paws and padded closer to Sam. "I'm a Clan cat. Got a problem with 'em?" She hissed. But of course, she didn't like them. To rogues, it was obvious she was an extremely strong and intimadating descendant of Death, but to Clan cats not very obvious, since they don't see Death much, some haven't ever.

"Hey I'm not Small" Icy retorted sourly looking at Sam her faced scrunched up.
"NOt small?" Sam asked and in one fluid movement had the small cat pinned down under only one of his massive bear like paws. "Are you sure about that?" Sam meowed grimmly. HE dug his claws into the cats fur, he could easily kill her. Icy scrambled under his heavy paws and sharp claws that dug into her flesh.

Xena didn't say anything about Sam killing Icy, quite frankly she didn't care enough to stop them. She cooly licked one of her paws and drew it over her ear a couple of times. "How's it been Sam? And your chick?" She asked politely but still rather on the chilly side.

Sam rolled his eyes, "I was not going to kill her, just teaching her to learn who to mess with" Sam meowed and realesed his grip on the kit who staggered away. Icy glared at Sam, she mummbled a few bad words under her breath and turned away.

Xena snorted "She isn't going to learn that lesson. Evidently she's too stupid to realize that everyone here can break her like a twig and that she should watch her mouth" She replied matter-of-factly wrapping her brown tabby tail around her white paws.
