"So I never caught your name" Icy stated looking at the tom.
Her fur blew in a breeze that swept by and the afternoon sun was bright.
It felt nice.

"Little claws?" Icy growled with disgust.
"No way you can call me Little claws, my sister may not mind being called stupid names but I do" Icy growled remembering him calling Leafkit Little Puff.

Holmes shrugged. He would call her Little Claws, regardless of what she said. It amused him to see a kit, so small and young as she, acting like the most powerful rogue tyrant. Amusing.

LeafKit seemed to think the same thing... Her sister was quite amusing though LeafKit would be skinned alive if she ever mentioned it... "You need to lighten up alot sista' and learn some respect, obviously Mr. Holmes over there is your superior therefore you should show respect" She giggled making sure that she was a safe distance from IceKit... just a precaution... she still thought it was amusing

A smile tugged at Holmes' expression as he turned to LeafKit. He didn't think himself as anybody's superior. Just a friend. "Ranks aren't needed amongst friends." he commented.

"I can tell you though that you're hardly a friend of IcyKit's... at least in her mind. She believes that she's needs nobody and thus has no friends over the temporary ones that are only there for personal gain" LeafKit squeaked her fluffy calico tail waving behind her in swift fluid motions.

Holmes' ears flicked toward LeafKit. "Your intellect is well developed for someone of your age. I'm impressed." he praised, smiling at the small kit.

LeafKit quieted slightly, quite pleased with herself, but also quite embarressed at the same time. "Thanks" She finally replied. She was glad it was dark or she was sure they'd have seen her blush... LeafKit wasn't used to praise, more often death threats from IcyKit so it sorta meant alot to her.

Holmes smiled. "So, LeafKit. Any decisions yet about your future?" he asked nonchalantly, walking along next to Shade so he could speak with the kit dangling from her jaws.

"Errrr... quite frankly I haven't really thought about it that much..." LeafKit mewed thinking to herself as she said that... suddenly her features took on somewhat of a worried expression "Is that bad? Should I already know that stuff!?" She asked looking quite concerned... already her mind was working in that direction in case the answer was yes, she was supposed to know that already.

Shade looked down at IcyKit for a moment which accidently made her hit LeafKit against the ground, in which LeafKit squeaked in surprise. Irritated Shade finally just put LeafKit down ... she could walk herself. "Yes, IcyKit, I am. Why do you ask?" She asked the young she-cat, even though she already knew the reason.
LeafKit resumed the walk on her own paws and more or less walked beside Holmes with still that same unsure expression waiting on his answer.

Shade shrugged, not caring enough to push the point and force information out of her.
About that time a loud "BOO!" CAme out from behind the little band of cats followed by some hysterical laughter after several of the cats jumped, especially LeafKit. Shade used to the tirade that usually came from her half-brother Bandit just smiled.
"Do you always have to do that everytime we go somewhere?" Another she-cat voice joined, slightly exhasperated before the young brown tabby she-cat stepped out of the shadows just behind the band. "Who you got here Shade?" Xena asked while Bandit bounded out after her still laughing to himself. Xena more or less had the same build usually associated wit hthe Death family but also had the long vampirci fangs so common in the VampireBat. Bandit on the other hand looked almost exactly like VampireBat.. well a smaller version of VampireBat. He looked the most like him in looks it seemed, even out of all the bazillion descendents of VampireBat.
"NatureClanners, I expect Spotty's" Bandit answered Xena's question with a smug smile.
"No kidding?" Xena grumbled sarcastically before smacking Bandit to the ground with one swipe of her paw.
"Quit fighting" Shade ordered rolling her dark blue eyes. "IcyKit and LeafKit. Has Spotty showed up yet? Or Dad?" She asked. Both shook their heads Bandit with an innocent smile while Xena still glared at him.

She wandered who they were. Icy looked at them then back to Shade wondering how she knew them.

"No, They haven't shown up yet" Xena meowed slyly
"But someone else did" Bandit added with a grin.
Shade rolled her eyes "If you're talking about Freedom I already know that" She retorted with a smug expression
Xena grumbled something about Shade and her speaking to AbyssClan was cheating when she had information for ransom.
"Should have known better than that" Bandit added shrugging as if it didn't matter. He turned his amber eyes to the two kits and Holmes, the same eyes as LeafKit had. "Whats up Holmes?" He asked as if they were best friends though they hardly knew eachother after their names.
Xena glared at IcyKit right back her chocolate brown eyes cold and unwelcoming "What're you glaring at fluffy?" She asked sharply which made Bandit turn back to her his head cocked curiously.....

Icy growled her teeth showing at Xena. She was starting to catch the drift that she probably should not have said that but...

Xena narrowed her eyes dangerously and unsheathed her long black, very Death-like claws. "I think you're the one too stupid to realize how long your own fur length is... and to watch your tongue when you're talking to someone that can easily rip you to shreds" She growled stalking forward a few steps, her long claws leaving marks in the ground.
"Now Xena, no need to get all worked up... so the kit is stupid... give it a break, I think you've scared it quite enough" Bandit meowed trying to reason with his sister... Of course she didn't listen and was about to leap at IcyKit and give her a good beating up but Bandit jumped in the way a pushed her back, taking a long gash in his shoulder for the effort. "Chill Xena" He growled.
Shade watched it all with a good bit of amusement at it all... Yeah she would have let Xena give IcyKit a good beating... teaching of humility... How many times had Shade beat up Xena when she was younger... many, many times. "You should learn to hold your tongue kit, or it might just get cut out soon" She growled "You're lucky, Bandit has a heart enough to stop Xena" With that she let out a laugh how very ironic it all was.
LeafKit was staring wide-eyed at the she-cat, Xena that had about ripped her sister to shreds and then the long gash now in Bandit's shoulder that very easily could have been IcyKit....

ICy looked away from Xena, "Fine" she meowed her voice even.
Icy sat down and flicked her tail on the ground. She knew it was time to be quiet.

Holmes nodded a greeting to the two. "Xena, Bandit." He watched the two argue and scuffle with mild amusement, his tail gently flip-flopping. "Xena, I can see your sharper than ever." he commented, but didn't explain whether he was pointing out her claws or her tounge. Holmes himself prefered to cinverse with bandit, but he wasn't deceived by his actions in protecting Icykit. All of them were tricky, deadly little devils. they half-reminded him of a hole full of vipers.

Xena nodded to Holmes in greeting calming down slightly... at least enough to mutter a sorry to Bandit and walk over to Shade without massacreing IcyKit. Shade and Xena went into a muted discussusion... mostly about how Shade had come up with the two kits and all that jazz.
Bandit rolled his amber eyes "Sisters... She-cats in general" He grumbled though it was a good-natured remark. "So Holmes, how ya' been lately" He asked turning back to the other tom as if nothing had happened.

"Herbs eh? That's cool" Bandit remarked with a grin... Bandit was like a complete dolt when it came to herbs therefore he didn't really care much for them but he figured it was ahandy thing to know about... If you could remember all that stuff... Him and Xena together couldn't figure out how to put cobwebs on a wound before... of course they were younger, but still.... "Well, I have done pretty much nothing... I've worked on some useful moves and that has been about it really... Soooo... who're you kit?" Bandit answered and then asked turning his eyes to LeafKit whom was still sitting beside Holmes... Obviosuly he knew that she was either LeafKit or IcyKit... didn't know which one but he guessed that personality wise at least the other kit was IcyKit
LeafKit smiled at Bandit her own amber eyes dancing "I'm LeafKit! And I presume you're Bandit?" She squeaked in absolute pleasure... oh how she loved meeting new cats

Holmes' expression melted into a warm smile for a moment. He was already loving LeafKit's enthusuasim. the white-speckled tom lowered himself so he was laying with his paws tucked underneath him, watching LeafKit with his whiskers twitching in amusement.
