Xenon stood at the central part of the DarkAlleys, waiting for the last patrol to come in, and the dogs of her current patrol to join her, she was bored.... She knew she had at least fracture, and possibly Havoc, she didn't remember the rest of the patrol, though they typically moved in pairs, so there was four, sometimes six. Solitary a lot of the time, but also a community, they each collected something, Like Xenon and her claws of defeated rivals, she used two claws from each rival, she had a bracelet with eight claws, and a choker that she wore, it wasn't yet finished, but it had ten so far.... Nine killed rivals, not to mention all the ones that escaped with their lives... and for the most part it was guys, Elva, Sayuri, Miu, Wolf, and Xenon made up the entire female Dog Population, all colder, harder females than most gypsy girls. Xenon fit in with the guys better than anything else.

Wolf stalked beside her friend. Deep in thought of what she was going to do. "Xenon can I ask a question?" the shecat mewed in a whisper. Not looking at her. Wolf had learned when she was a mear kit that life was hard and she adapted to whatever came her way. That was the spirit of a true dog, Wolf told herself.

Fracture, who was waiting in the shadows next to Xenon, blinked his eyes open fiercely. "Nothing good." he replied to Wolf, closing his eyes again. His expression was shielded.

Xenon snorted. "i know what is outside the alleys, a bunch of idiots with no purpose to their pointless existence, and I don't care if that was redundant!" her fur bristled as she thought of her own family....

"Chill," croaked Havok, coming up from behind Xenon. "Don't wanna scare our newest member away, do you?" he said sarcastically, glancing over where Tomato guy was.
Lithium joined the forming patrol and sat beside her sister. She looked hardly at Havok. She respected her friend Sayuri, and that she-cat took Tommy in almost as a kit of her own.
"There're also pretty dances by the fire," she added, flicking her tail.
Anyone could say little Lithium didn't belong with the Dogs. She was tiny, a little too skinny, and so very delicate. Yet, she had remarkable speed and agility in battle.

Xenon looked at Lithium and rolled your eyes. "Yeah, you came here AFTER making a life for yourself, because you were a daughter of Obsidian..." she rolled her yellow eyes. "Alright.. we have.. how many?" she quickly counted... Havoc, Fracture, Wolf, Lithium, and herself? "five... unless we are taking midget which will make three groups of two or two groups of three, or if we aren't taking the red midget, it makes one group of two and a group of three, or two groups of two and a lone wanderer...." she said. "How we splittin?" looking around the group for somebody to decide.. she certainly wasn't.

"Maybe if I join, it will make the groups equal?" came Sayuri's little voice.
She went beside Havok and Fracture, obviously trying to annoy them. "Unless no one wants me here..." With that, she unsheathed her long razor-like claws.
Lithium shrugged at her sister. "You could of, too, you know," she mewed. She flashed a quick grin at Sayuri and got up. "Three-three, then? I wanna go with Xenon."

Xenon snorted "Yeah, right... they HATED me, my own siblings, and mother HATED me..." she growled with another eye roll. "Alright... so Lithium, one other and me... then the other three you get the southern alleys." she said wit a stretch, anxious to get going, she looked up and could hear the last patrol approaching, they would have to leave soon...

"We could separate the boys," Lithium suggested. "Havok can come with us."
"Which leaves Fracture with me and Wolf," chimed Sayuri, grinning.
Havok shook his head. Poor Fracture was stuck with Sayuri...
"See ya, bro," he croaked to his buddy. He joined the two sisters. He usually gets along pretty well with Xenon, but Lithium...? Depends in what mood the pixie-like she-cat is in.

Xenon looked at Fracture. "I'm Sorry, take care of Wolf... and try not to kill Sayuri eh?" she teased Fracture and nodded as Elva who had been on the patrol tapped her shoulder. "Alright we are off!" then she trotted off northward.

Lithium automatically took Xenon's right, leaving Havok to take the left. She padded at a light beat, while Havok loomed, as if absorbing the darkness.
Sayuri flicked her tail. "Let's go south!" she said, bouncing toward the opposite alley.
She waited for Fracture and Wolf to catch up..

Wolf smiled and calmly loped inbetween Fracture and Sayuri keeping them separate. "South sounds good." the shecat mewed calmly, gently touching the tip of her tail on Fractures thigh.

Fracture stood and watched Havoc, Xenon, and Lithium lope off, before he started with his group. He made no real effort to keep up, but his fast pace brought him next to Wolf. He was still irritated with Sayuri for encouraging that little red brat and helping him. "So, Sayuri..." he started. "Are you going to be taking in every kit with a sob story from now on?"

It was like little Sayuri to give up. That comment on Tommy actually seemed to annoy her.
"You know, you two actually look a little alike," she called after him. "And he passed the Cage! He's a real talented runner. I bet, if you give him two more moons, he could outrun you!"

Fracture snorted. "If I let him last two more moons." he muttered. He made a point of ignoring the 'look-a-like' comment. If he didn't just let it go, it would've really ticked him off. Fracture paused and shook his pelt in a canine-like manner.

Wolf rolled her eyes she wanted Tommy Tomato to fail in the cage, "Oh, cut it out both of you. Tommy survived that time only because Xenon let him. Sayuri can't you just leave Fracture alone for a little bit?" she mewed giggling at the last sentence and stood beside Fracture.

Fracture started back up with the others after a good shake. He was a little surprised at Wolf for standing by him, but shrugged internally and trotted on ahead. Every time he started to think almost kindly toward one of his fellow Dogs, he reminded himself that no one in the Dogs was a good cat. They all have their black hearts. He reminded himself by stealing a glance at Wolf's choker, where he knew she wore her own father's claws, and was proud of herself that she killed him. It made his lip curl slightly and he turned back to the path infront of him.

Sayuri was about to snap a rough comment. But wouldn't that just amuse Fracture? She stuck her tongue out at Wolf and quickly padded forward to catch up. No way she was going to leave Fracture to lead the way. Nah-uh.
