This is not targeted towards anyone in particular, please don't start flipping out at me for saying this, I just find it a problem

I've noticed lately there is a good amount of not-nice words. I've found that I just don't think they are appropriate for this kind of site and I think that for the newer players it might turn them away. Especially as there is swearing in the C-Box. I just think some things should be editted so that automatically a swear is turned to something else. I know that can be done as I've made my own proboards site a few times.

Please consider this.

Yes i think that's fine, but if you're tragetting the swear to someone else then like. You f***ing suck. Or something wouldn't be appropriate or just being mean to people. Even though that's not a problem but just to not put them towards people.

Yeah I agree with that. Althoug I haven't seen anything that bad around here. So I think only d**n (which I think someone blocked it cuz it makes stupid stars) and Hell are okay. Any others?

Oh and btw d**n and hell shouldn't be used against some one, for example: Snowy got to hell, I don't give a d**n about what you think. THAT"S A DEFINATE NO! But if you use it like this in a role play situation it's fine. R/P example: Scrouge's eyes glittered with pure hatred, "I'll see you down in Hell." He taunted, then disepeared with in the shadows.

I'm personally totally against swearing, so, yeah, swearing is a smaller porblem, I suppose.

It's not a big problem but in roleplays is fine unless the character is swearing his head off to another cat.

I'm refering to, someone saying that another player is acting all p**sy and saying it to them in a bad way.
I find it fine if what Leafy say is fine, just not saying it another player or about another player.

Anyone that swears in the way Gentle is referring to shall be banned for a week, even more if it is that extreme.
So staff or even regular members who catch anyone swearing should report it to a Staff Member, we'll deal with it. ^^

Wait here's from the almighty rules:

5. No cussing! minor things like "Stupid", "Retard", and "Eviler-Than-A-Puppy" are okay, but nothing over the top bad.
It's in black so: The rules in black mean that you really ticked me off when you didnt follow them(you might loose all ur karma or I might make a huge issue out of it).

Warnings.The first warning means that you are just warned(no punishment). The second warning means that you are banned for one day. The third warning means that you are banned for one week. The fourth warning means that you are banned for one month. The fifth and final warning means that you are banned FOREVER(you cant just make a new account because we ban your whole computer system from the site). PM any questions you have to me.

wow... ok elt me explain something I'm going to screw up on this rule, because you all apparently have a totally different definition of swearing, in my hosue swearing is saying things like f**k every other word, I "swear" by your definitions rather a lot..s**t and Crap and f**k and Ass are all regular words in my vocabulary... so if I mess up chill out ok?! NOT actually my fault, I have the memory of a goldfish, and language is language.

No cursing at all and that's final. If you use a word you wouldnt normally use in front of your grandma or mother or 3 year old sister, I'm giving you a warning.
Everyone knows that five warnings are a permanent ban from the site. So watch your language, no matter how mad u get.
