"You asked me if I was overprotective of kits when I don't hve ny....." she muttered awkwardly, obviously leaving something out, her amber eyes now avoiding BrightFlames' eyes

BrightFlames cocked his head, confused. He knew she was hiding something... "Well I meant with you apprentices or just Clan mates or anything."

GoldenTansy smiled agian "Well, I'm not soooo yeah." She looked up at the now setting sun making the sky turn sort of a pinkish orange color. "You're not due for a patrol or anything any time soon are you?" she asked wondering if they should part ways again 'til next time.

GoldenTansy shrugged "Were you in the CAE?" She asked wondering how he seemed to know CloudedSkies and DarkGlare who hadn't been around for moons. DarkGlare had left right before GoldenTansy had left for the gypsies, at around 2 moons.

"Oh.... My mom was and dad was IN the alliance..... we were fighting against them." she sighed slightly.... she'd never wanted overprotective parents, but it would have been nice to at least HAVE parents after the age of two moons... just so that she knew SOMEONE cared..... That's why she'd been such an easy target for Jay.... that's why she'd been so hurt when he left. that's why she'd vowed she wouldn't get involved in anything like that ever agian.... yet here she was doing the exact same thing she'd done with Jay.... should she just walk away now?.... so she's know she'd never feel again what Jay had done to her....

BrightFlames could read the expression in her eyes. He could tell something was wrong. He looked at his paws. He felt somewhat like she did. he didn't know MothPelt was alive... but she was... but he was right that he would never see her again. He composed his face and looked at her. "Something wrong?" he meowed.

GoldenTansy's amber eyes suddenly hardened, her usual response to sadness... "Just how many less problems I would have had if my parents had actually cared" She snarled her eyes suddenly spilling over into tears. "If they'd actually cared I would've never went to the gypsies would never have felt the pain that no one cared from them or my siblings, would never have gotten involved with Jay, and would never have been hurt by him... Had I had someone that cared about me. I would've never felt as alone as I have. When these kits are born I won't be overprotective, but I'll let them know that I love them and that I care for them" She hissed, practically her whole life spilling out of her mouth and accidentally giving out the information that she was having kits.

GoldenTansy somewhat surprised about how she'd lost control of herself like that quit crying, but said absolutely nothing. She lokoed up at the sky again... it twas definetly getting lat now and she would be noticed missing soon. "I think I should probably go home now" She meowed her voice carefully controled so that it had no emotion in it. She got up slowly and started padding away "I'll see you soon" She called back before she disappeared.... Little did she know she wouldn't see BrightFlames again until in StarClan.... Little did she know that the kits would never know if she loved them or not...
(theres a little to what will happen to her.... more like a BIG hint)
