SplashFoot grunted at FairyDance's kick. He turned his head and looked away from the two old friends, but his ears stayed pricked in their direction.
"WilyWolf?" MudPaw echoed sadly. "I didn't know he'd goten his warrior name...it suits him." The medicine cat apprentice cracked a smile. "Riddle's ok. He..he had an accident..with some dogs early, but he's fine now. DestinyWinds it ok, too. She still sad of allt eh cats leaving and such...but..you know, ok."
MinkStar smiled. It was easy to talk to NightStar. She nodded. "That's great." Then the leader turned her head to the sky. "The Gathering should start soon.."

FairyDance smiled "We all got our warrior names... SaltyCreek, WilyWolf, LunarDreams... ForgottenMyth....all of us." she smiled weakly "YEah... and MistedMorning.... he and MistedMorning are mates.. its cute." she grinned and looked at SplashFoot and frowned and poked him in the side of the head gently, having to rear back to her hind legs to do so. "Wasusp with you grumpy?" she asked lightly before twirling before coming back down to all fours with a wide grin. "Ohh.. sorry about Riddle... you sound like something is still wrong....." she said her smile turning to a frown.
EverStar grinned "Oh, don't worry BlackSands, I forget very little.. I will remember." she said smoothly with a hint of mockery in her voice.

Nightstar grinned darkly and hissed something else, "If you wish EverPain."
Then he quickly turned his head to speak to MinkStar.
"Yes, the gathering should start soon. If you wish you may speak first, but if not you do not ahve to."

VioletStar walked up to the three of the five leaders. "Isn't it custom that the newest leader has the right to speak first? If that's the case then shouldn't EverStar speak first?" she asked, not at all overly prideful about it... trying to stay on everybody's good side.

EverStar dipped her head gratefully towards VioletStar "If no-one minds I will speak." she said gently SHe stepped forward "LET THE GATHERING BEGIN!" she called firmly... Cats silenced below.
"I am EverStar, leader of BogClan, the new clan." she spoke firmly. "Our new deputy is to be ShellShore." EverStar waited for the cats of her clan to finish cheering. "We have a territory, in the old bog, and we are doing well, we have had new litters of kits, and lots of new warriors as well as apprentices. We are flourishing.. and we are very strong." She glanced at each leader, almost daring them to try to attack her clan.

Nightstar watched as she spoke calmly. And smiled slyly when he seen most of his clan was not saying anything. ShellShore had been his previous deputy before she had been banished he was quite sure, but even he did not remember these things anymore.
He was not going to speak next, and would simply let another cat speak. MysticClan did not have much to say anyhow, so they could go last.
MidnightBreeze layed slumped on the ground, vaguely listening to what the BogClan leader was saying to the cats. He wasn't going to let these stupid little 'not-clanborn' cats make a fool of him, he wasn't going to let that no he wasn't.

SplashFoot flicked his tail toward MudPaw at FairyDance's poke, but said nothing more.
MudPaw opened his mouth to say something else, but was cut off as the Gathering came to order. He frowned, but turned his attention to the leaders.
MinkStar nodded to EverStar and slowly stepped forward.
"We are glad that BogClan has been adjusting well." she commented. "SpectrumClan has been well, also. Our warriors have spotted a large colony of rats on our border with MysticClan. We advised all cat's to watch out for that area until they can be dealt with. Other than that, the prey has been running and new litters being born." She stepped back silently for someone else to speak. She had purposely not mentioned SourBite, for fear that it may upset an BogClanners, and she just really didn't want to bring him up.

Mothflight was sitting near Songstar her leader, she was sitting like deputy would: proudly. Her brown coat gleamed in the autumn sun and she had been looking and listening to Minkstar speak with a genuine expression on her face. She had always been one that was intrested in other clans wel-fare but was not going to go out offering help or anything like that but she did have a sypathetic feeling to clans in trouble. She was happy to hear that the clans were doing fine.

NightStar stood on the rock calmly. Once MinkStar stepped back he paused for a few moments. Since no leader stood up he then walked forward calmly. This would be interesting he knew, because AbyssClan could control him and would make him want to say something he didn't want.
"MysticClan is donig wonderful. We are healthy, strong, and pure."
Normally he would say 'and the prey is running well', but AbyssClan forced onto him to say 'pure'. He couldn't believe all of this was happening, he had drove out his deputy, and now he hated what he was doing. He couldn't wait until AbyssClan left him alone.
"The prey is running well and we are ready for anything that comes at us. And yes the border patrols have been watching for the rats, and luckily we haven't had any stray on our side yet."
MidnightBreeze smiled slyly. He was completly free unlike his father, but he believed every word his father said and followed him well. He wasn't extremly nice to the other cats and actually truelly believed it was better to be pure. But because he didn't know that his father was controlled by AbyssClan he just thought he was naturally that way.

FairyDance frowned at SplashFoot with a "we'll talk later." frown and focused on tracking down her apprentice int eh crowd.. hopefully she wasn't getting herself in trouble....

Narrowriver was looking up at Violetstar he felt proud to be part of Natureclan, he was sitting by Sugarstorm. He could not help but feel happy to be around her; Narrowriver turned his gaze to Songstar who had yet to speak.
Starpaw sat down by her mentor TarpenLeaf and yawned a little dispassionately she knew she should care about this but she felt more eager to learn about being a medicine cat then listening to other clan’s problems. She looked at Tarpenleaf then back at Violetstar.
MothFlight was glad it was finally her clan leader’s turn to speak, and she turned to look down at Bonetail who was sitting in the mass of cats below.
Whitepaw was sitting with some Natureclan apprentices; she always liked to come to the gathering since she got to socialize with other apprentices. There were no apprentices in her clan other then herself.
Burningheart was sitting next to Fallenhope watching her older kits talk quietly among themselves about the gathering.

WoodPeolt padded over to WhitePaw. He had just become a warrior. "Hey WhitePaw." He whispered as he sat down.
BoneTail smiled at MothFlight then looked at SongStar.
Tarpenleaf smiled encouragingly at his apprentice.

“Hey Woodpelt.” Whitepaw turned in surprise toward the warrior, “How are things up in your life?” Whitepaw meowed, she had a way of twisting her words good or bad. Her eyes glowed happy to talk to someone instead of listen to the gathering.

LossDream sat down beside BLackAybss and waited for the last leader to speak.
Wolfmoon listened to the leaders speak and watched one of the leaders get angry at the newly made leader. She sighed and waited for SongStar to talk.

Snowpaw sat on her own, looking around for other apprentices and medicine cats to talk with. She smiled as she heard all was good in the clans, but couldn't help feeling that the leader of BogClan was challenging the oethr leaders.

Starpaw got up from where she was sitting which was by her mentor Tarpenleaf a medicine cat from celestialclan. She looked around and saw Snowpaw all by herself she walked over and sat down. "Hi, I'm Starpaw a medicine cat apprentice!"

Starpaw gave Tarpenleaf a 'oh come on look' but wandered back over to her mentor. "Grumpy." Starpaw meowed quietly to TarpenLeaf even though she knew she was going to be in trouble.
