Tentively, ever so slowly, a tom crept into the Forest of Love. He had only been here once, when he was just a young kit. That's when he father had taken him away from CelestialClan to live as a Loner. But of course, he could'ne remember that. No one could. Splashpaw wasn't the one for adventure, whoch made it strange that he was here. Why was he here? He didn't know. He just was. After checking that the coast was clear, he settled himself in a crouch by one of the Dogwoods.
Meanwhile, in a differnt part of the Forest, a young, tan she-cat bounded happily through the piles of pink petals. Finally! Finally she made it away from the Clan and her brother. MinnowPaw, after running for a while, finally ran out of steam and stoped to rest, with a rather large smile on her panting face.
(Any apprentice or young warrior for the two. I dunno if Kitty had FairyPaw in mind for SplashPaw, though, so just wait on him for a moment.)

SaltyPaw watched MinnowPaw from behind a nearby bush. He smiled to himself and only hesitated for a heartbeat before stepping out and walking somewhat slowly toward the young she-cat. "Having fun?" He asked grinning. His white fur once again clean of all the mud, shone in the sun, and his blue eyes were bright as he sat down trying to judge MinnowPaw's reaction to seeing him here.

MinnowPaw turned and smiled at SaltyPaw, catching her breath. "Yeah..It just feels good to run again. You can't run in BogClan territory. You might just trip over some more apprentices!' she teased.

"Wow..." FairyPaw was looking around, not paying attention to direction, or what was at her feet. and tripped over a dip in the ground and face planted on a tree root. "OW!!" she yowled, it just so happened she was inches from SplashPaw's feet

SplashPaw started, but grinned when he saw FairyPaw. He bent down to the current level she was at, and teased, "Having fun?"

"You might" He agreed chuckling softly. "Unless the other apprentices' were smart enough to not lay down in the middle of the camp" He retorted lightly, a spark of amusement in his eyes.

MinnowPaw smiled and rolled her eyes. "Excuses wont get you anywhere SaltyPaw." she grinned. The tan young apprentice kicked up some pink petals at the tom.

"Perhaps.... no harm in trying though" He consented lightly as he flicked a flower petal off of his ear. With a grin he pawed at the remaining petals until they had all settled on the ground. "Soooo... How are you?" He asked

"I've been fine." MinnowPaw meowed, flicking pink petla's this way and that way with her long tail. She liked it here. It was nice and quiet, with plenty of things to do. "You?"
"I think my toes will live." SplashPaw chuckled, helping FairyPaw to her feet. The gray tabby tom smiled and leaned against the pink-petaled dogwood. "I haven't a clue where Minnowpaw's gone off to." he speculated. "Probably running around... So what are you doing out here?"

SaltyPaw shrugged "It could be better, but I guess I can't really complain too much" He meowed quietly as he pawed at an unusually big flower petal.

The tan she-cat nodded, but he attention was drawn to a sparrow as it pecked about the ground oblivous to the two apprentices. She slowly crept forward, stalking toward the bird. But every time she got near enough to pounce it hopped farther away. At last, after a few minutes it was finally cornerd it by a stream and leapt. MinnowPaw managed to snag the bird, but they both fell into the stream causing a great splash.

SaltyPaw couldn't help, but let out a yowl of laughter as he bounded up to the shore and fished the younger apprentice out of the water. "Nice catch" He meowed teasingly as he put her on the edge of the bank

MinnowPaw growled good-natuedly, tossing the sopping sparrow at SaltyPaw. "It's not like I can't swim." She meowed in mock-indignity. She stopped and shook some of the water from her pelt in a dog-like way.

"I was looking for somewhere to think... cuz camp is such a bustle, and the whole territory is loud with toads.. then I found this place.... its so pretty ya know? with all the pink falling..." she twirled on one hind paw coming down gracefully, pink petals swirled around her as she turned to look at SplashPaw with a smile. "You remind me a lot of somebody I knew back home..." she said softly, her mind briefly flicked to wonder how MudPaw was....

MinnowPaw rolled her eyes and seated herself on the stream bank, watching the rush and swirls. After a moment of silence, she meowed, "You know my dad said that we come form a long line of water-cats."
SplashPaw nodded. "Yeah..I can see what you mean.." Then he looked at FairyPaw quizzicaly. "Oh yeah? Who?"

"His name was MudPaw, he was our medicine Cat apprentice, he was really sweet, you just.. brought him back to mind.... you act a lot like him, and you have the same smile." FairyPaw smiled herself taking a few steps closer to SplashPaw

"Really? My family isn't that big to begin with soooo yeah, but I have a few younger cousins back at BogClan and several are in the loner/rogue territory somewhere. Where are yours at?" SaltyPaw asked... suddenly thinking of Celeste and Keiko and their kits.... He couldn't remember meeting Celeste or Keiko anytime recently and he missed them. Their kits reminded him of them whenever he looked at them though. Blazekit had the same pelt as Celeste just his was ginger and Eternalkit had the same eyes as Celeste, but looked exactly like Keiko.

MinnowPaw sighed again, "My mother's brother...my Uncle... Well, my mother was in CelestialClan and then she met my father, Tide, who's a loner. And then she had us.. and i guess that made my uncle angry...he..he killed her after that, and wanted to kill us, but we were already gone." The tan apprentice shook her head sadly.
