FairyDance said.. she didn't like being criticized.. she never had.... the light sweet little she-cat did have a darker side, it was apparent as she snapped at Loss Dream.
"Very Good Lethe, now try to walk, just a few steps, and try to keep that center of balance while you walk on your hind paws." FairyDance backed up a few steps before getting up and taking a few smooth steps back then forward again on her hindpaws. "Like a so.. and don't expect smooth steps til you get really good, they should be rather shaky to start..."

Lethe's eyes narrowed a little when her mentor snapped at her adopted mother, but said nothing as she took a few steps forward. FairyDance was right: the steps were shaky, and she would of almost fallen at every two of them if it wasn't for the gravity advice.
When she was more used to the pacing on two legs, and the shake to stop a little, she glanced over her shoulder to her, waiting for the next order.

LossDream wanted to snap back but she held her tongue. Then another idea popped into her head. She kind of wanted to learn how to dance, if it inproved her agility. She smiled at the thought. Taking courage, she stood up on her hind legs. shaking at first, but she held it. She took a step and other. She was proud of herself purhaps se wasn't useless to the clan.

"Alright LEthe, your making GREAT progress, now try moving a little faster...." FairyDance could almost run on her hind paws,s o she demonstrated a fast jogging speed.

Her eyes narrowed ever so slightly. She didn't want to be a human. Not those ugly creatures with no fur and pink skin who ravage forests and all that. Bleh.
But she still did as she was told, and started going slightly faster, all her concentration on not falling. She was even starting to become graceful on her back legs now. Woah. Her pace grew faster, until it was starting to get uneven and shaky as she pushed herself a little too much..

FairyDance dropped to her feet and ran to catch up and catch her when she fell. "Careful, there is a maximum to possible speeds....." she said smiling mildly "You ready for a break?" she asked

She snorted. "There's no max when it comes to speed."
But she didn't protest anymore. Lethe was smart enough to realize her sore back paws needed a break. She fell to all fours and sat down, trying not to pant. "That was an... interesting lesson."

"Tomrrow we will start spins." she said smiling. "Would you mind coming for a little fishing with me before we return to camp?" she asked heading towards the water source for the clan... the clean river with fish in it.

Her eyes immediately brightened. "Oh, yes!" She jumped to her paws and ran to the water. She sat down, facing the sun for that her shadow wasn't cast over the water.
"Let's make this a competition!" Lethe meowed. And then, remembering FairyDance was a warrior and her mentor, she widened her golden eyes until they were puppy-like. "Please?"
