DawnPaw's eyes narrowed in disappointment for a moment, but just shrugged and nodded "Alright see ya' in the mornin'!" She called back as she ran toward her sister to see if she was done 'getting to know' her mentor so they could go and pick out a good spot in the apprentices' den.
SaltyCreek dismissed BlazePaw saying that they would also train in the morning before he turned back to MinnowStep "Hmmmmm, I might not.... maybe I could use some help hmmmmmm" He muttered jokingly while also looking at MinnowStep pointedly.
BlazePaw and EternalPaw left and disappeared into the apprentices' den

DappledPaw turned to her sister. "Let's go get a spot!" She mewed and bounded into the apprentices den.

MinnowStep's expression tunred to mock concentration. "Hm..." Then she sighed. "SaltyCreek, I suppose I just can't trust you with an apprentice. So I suppose I'll just have to help you train." The lithe she-cat cracked a small smile.

FairyDance giggled then scowled but licked his ear anyway again before twirling away almsot as if dancing. she looked at her own apprentice, who wasn't that much smaller than her "We'll train... tomorrow." she decided swiftly with a grin.

SplashFoot grinned and plopped down into the dirt. For some reason, he felt absolutely worn out. Maybe all this celebrating was getting to him. He hadn't been sleeping well lately... The gray tabby warrior turned a grin up toward FairyDance. "Care to join my on this nice comfortable dirt?"

FairyDance narrowed her eyes then grinned and with another twirl dropped to the ground next to him. "Something wrong?" she asked seeing a flash of exhaustion on his face. She had thought that he hadn't been sleeping, somebody nearby had been tossing and turning, and no-one else showed the signs of it.

"Just tired." SplashFoot meowed after a wide yawn. He laid his head on the ground, touching FairyDance. He shot a grin back up at her, and yawned again. "Yep. Being a warrior takes a lot out of you." He chuckled.

FairyDance prodded him with a giggled and laid back so her head was on his flank. "Oh yeah." she said in her delicate bell voice. Her eyes glittered with humor, "So, I'm supposed to go hunt.. in... a little bit.. wanna come with me?" she asked softly watching clouds drift across the sky..... the bog was hot, and sticky, and she had ot hunt... yuck, and she wanted him to help her... learn to swim.

"Well I suppose if you want we can bring someone else.." she said slowly after thinking a minute. "But only i fyou want to." she finished more swiftly. "Hey... that cloud looks like a toad!" she exclaimed suddenly, her focus completely lost as she pointed to a semi-toad resembling cloud.

SplashFoot couldn't help but chuckle and roll his eyes. He turned to the semi-toad cloud, watching it with FairyDance until it gradually drifted apart and from view. "We don't have to have anybody else come if you don't want to."

Starkit stumbled toward them clearly not himself. His face was pale, and his eyes showed no expression. He was careless and accidently ran into Splashfoot. Jerking back into reality he mumbled something and took off out of camp even though he is not allowed to. Seakit not noticing he left was sleeping by her mother who was licking her pelt.

FairyDance's eyes followed Starkti worried, she looked at SPalshfoot alarmed then got up in one smooth movement and started after the kit. "STARKIT!! STARKIT!!" she called running as fast as she could, leaping over streams rocks logs and other things she didn't want to trip over.

Not listening Starkit kept running. Clearly something was calling him. Being blind he would run into things, even though he could normally sense them being their. Starkit finnally stopped. His dead friend, Feathertail who was in StarClan, led him here. She mewed to him, "Twolegs are putting traps out for animals. They put them here in this part of the territory of BogClan." She pointed to the trap with her tail. Sensing FairyDance behind him he pointed to the wire trap used to kill game. "Feathertail told me to follow her here. So I did." He sat down.

Digging her claws in to teh dirt to come skidding to the halt she spun to come to a faster halt almost stepping in the trap. "Woah... Starkit.. I know they say follow, but you MUST MUST MUST be more careful!!!"FairyDance pleaded. "Tell someone, when they say follow say something, loud and clear so somebody KNOWS!" FairyDance pleaded. "Now I have to tell Everstar about these, and get you home.. CLEAN look at you.. your COVEREd in mud, your mother will NEVER forgive me!" FairyDance exclaimed in a much wamer and more comforting tone.

Starkit bowed his head. He forgot about his mother. In his mind his mother worried to much about him. "FairyDance, you know that Feathertail is a StarClan warrior don't you?" Giving his pelt a few unsuccesfull licks he gave up.
LossDream bounded into the scene and was shocked. "Starkit what are you doing out here?" Starkit ppointed his blind face at the wire traps he found with Feathertails help. "I'm sorry mum, I had to come out here. The clan was in danger." he mewed quitely. LossDream was more realived than mad at her little blind kit. To FariyDance she mewed, "I wonder what my little Starkit will be when he gets to be an apprintice. Being blind I don't know if he could be a good warrior." Sighing she went over to Starkit and picked him up and began to carry him back to camp.

Lethe, who was silently following StarKit in the shadows at the side of camp, rolled her eyes.
"Jeez. Chill, FairyDance. You having your middle-aged crisis already?" She snickered, ignoring her brother's glare.
She flicked her tail. "Hi, LossDream."

"Hello Lethe, Sunpaw." The queen mewed to her adopted kits. She was proud of them two and the memories of when they first came to the camp flooded back to her memory. She put Starkit down so he could walk beside her.

SunPaw smiled warmly at his adoptive mother. "StarKit will be a fine warrior."
"Especially when he has all those ghosts to guide him," Lethe added, a somehow-dark smile playing on her lips. She sat down and started licking her front paw. "And he hears so well, he can even sense the vibrations of movements. I guess that's an advantage about being blind." She winked at the kit, noticing for real this time that he was about a head taller than her already.

Starkit beamed with pride. He wanted to be a warrior. LossDream looked at them and smiled. "You two are right. He will be a great warrior with the ghost telling him where to put his paws." Starkit lighted up even more. His mother never said something like that to him. "Thanks mum I really needed to hear that." Starkit mewed happily. LossDream looked at him and mewed "I am sorry I didn't tell you that sooner. I guess its hard having a blind kit that can see dead cats." she smiled.

SunPaw bit his lower lip. He looked around, his golden eyes searching for JeweledKit at the words see dead cats.
Lethe nodded. "Gosh, I can't wait till ya and SeaKit can roam free outside of camp. Will you can already. I mean when you'll be allowed to." She shifted her paws. She would of had loved to take a long run, just to feel the stretch and burn of working muscles, but she knew that was pretty much impossible because of all the mud. Such a yucky place...

FairyDance ruffled her fur "Oh course he can be a great warrior!" she said passionately, nobody knew why FairyDance was so adamant about cats with disabilities being just as good as everyone else... but she was. Mayhap it was because she was so tiny... and had been so frail after birth, everyone thought she would die. Now look at her.
