Veiledpaw was up before the sun was even up. Streaks of gold just dusted the horizon. She wormed her way into the Warriors Bush, she stepped over the snoozing warriors until she made it to her mentor. "Hiddenglade." She whispered in her ear, "Come on and wake up! Time to train!" She meowed then sat up and licked her forepaw and swiped it over her ear. "Ready?" She meowed between licks, not bothering to look up. ((Hiddenglade))

HiddenGlade sighed with annoyance. With CometFall, it was always her who made his life complecated, but with VeiledPaw it seemed to be the other way around. That made her go in a bad mood. "Fine," she almost snapped. The brown tabby stood up and got out of the den without waiting for her new apprentice, padding toward the exit.

A large grin was plastered to Veiledpaw face. She padded after Hiddenglade, matching her brisk pace with ease. She decided not to annoy her any farther, and they padded in silence.

When the grass under her paws turned softer and trees surrounded her in every way, HiddenGlade stopped. "Do you want me to show you the territory, to teach you to hunt or to fight?" she asked, still not looking at VeiledPaw as she looked up at a crow in one of the highest trees.

"I would like to learn how to fight, but if you'd rather teach me something else that's fine too." She meowed, her gaze drifted up to the large crow. Her head was cocked to one side as if she saw something else in the trees as well.

"Well then don't ask my opinion." Veiledpaw snapped, but followed her mentor obidiently. Her eyes still watched the spot wher the crow was. Uneasiness crossed her eyes...

HiddenGlade tried not to chuckle. The air changed for the scent of water, like rain, only with a dirtier tench to it. She stopped at a swamp, where trees were at the edge, with lilypads at the top of the water, and swamp flowers were visible under the water, standing out with different colors: indigo, dark blue, deep red...
"Fire Fly Swamp. You should come here at night one day, it's beautiful," the dark tabby whispered, her voice and eyes softening.

Veiledpaw looked at it. The whole scene, the swamp, the flowers, the way Hiddenglade had suddenly softened up. She didn't want to pry on Hiddenglade's sudden emotions, so she kept her mouth shut.
She nodded. She looked around, the swamp was truely beautiful, and it was even better at night. She remembered what it looked like at night, her mother had shown her once.

With a sigh, she pawed the ground a little. "Let's move on now, and if we still have time, then I might show you some fighting moves," HiddenGlade meowed, her expression still serene. She padded away, this time waiting for VeiledPaw at every five steps, looking over her shoulder.

She followed wordlessly. Her eyes scanned the area, when she suddenly stopped. Her hackles began to raise, "Hiddenglade..." She cautioned... Her claws were automaticly unsheathed, "Some one or something I don't recognize is close by."

HiddenGlade lifted her nose to smell the air, but there was nothing.
"What are you talking about?" she asked, looking around for what ever that was.

"You should listen to your apprentice." Came a dark and powerful voice. Imprisonedsoul slipped out of the shadows, a warm smile on his terribly handsome face.
Veiledpaw instently went at ease. She sensed that Hiddenglade knew this cat... Knew him a bit too well.

"Hello, Love." He meowed and touched noses with her. He turned his attention to the young cat at her side, she seemed perfectly at ease.
Interesting.
"And who might this young one be?" He looked from Veiledpaw to Hiddenglade.

"My apprentice, VeiledPaw," HiddenGlade meowed, seeming to remember VeiledPaw was with them. "Um..." She looked at her apprentice with worry.

Veiledpaw looked at the poweful rouge, "I'm Veiledpaw." She meowed and dipped her head low, so low her nose almost touched the ground. Then she rose her head up, slowly. Her eyes shinned with admiration.
Imprisonedsoul, dipped his own head in aknowledgement, "She doesn't seem a threat to us." He meowed. He through the young cat a smile before looking back at Hiddenglade, "So What have you been up to lately?"

She nodded slightly.
"Nothing very intesting. I couldn't visit you and the Caverns because DeathStroke took over NatureClan, but now he's dead and HeatherStar recovered. What about you, ImprisonedSoul?"
